Chapter 8 - 08

Evelyn's POV.

 The next morning.

A small groan slipped from my lips, as I turned away from Ethan's body.

"Come here, baby," he moaned, as he tried to pull me closer, but I wrenched my body away from him.

Last night had been...intense between both of us. He wanted us to have sex, but I insisted I wouldn't allow that, until after he got tested from the hospital.

His face ended up on my pussy, as he ate me up. But that was all that happened, even though I wanted more.

 More from—

"Where are you off to?" He asked, as my feet padded towards the bathroom.

"I need to get to the office today." I said over my shoulders. "Money isn't going to make itself."

I stripped naked, and laid in the bathtub, balancing my breathing.

"I am going to see my father today, then we should both talk about the cancelled honeymoon trips later, what do you think?" His voice came through the door, but I gave no reply.

An hour later, I was set; dressed in a sharp navy blazer, a crisp white blouse, and a pencil skirt that screamed confidence.

"I'll see you later," I said quickly and without waiting for a reply, I turned sharply and sashayed out of the room, my heels clinking against the tiles.

"Let's have lunch together, Amy," I said into my phone, as I recorded a voice note. "I have some gist for you."

Hell, my life had been way too dramatic lately, it was like a movie.

I got to my car, and sped down the road, my thoughts wandering around, but all pointing to the same people; my brothers in law.

 No.

I shook my head hard, as I pressed my fingers against the steering wheel.

Today was a new day, and the beginning of a new week. I wanted to be focused and not think about the things I'd rather be doing right now — with Dominic and Lucas.

 Fuck.

The tall view of my firm finally came clear, and I exhaled, the tension breaking through my chest.

 Time to work.

"Good morning, ma'am. Can I take that for you?" My receptionist greeted me with a bright smile, but I shook my head.

 "It's fine, Lily."

"And congratulations, ma'am. It was such a beautiful ceremony!"

I gave a small smile, and slipped through my door, into my office.

Maddie let out a small gasp, as she straightened from the books that she was arranging. "Good morning, Mrs Whitmore. How was your weekend? Congratulations!"

"Thank you. How much workload do we have?"

She sighed heavily, and chuckled. "Enough."

"We better get into it then. But first..." I drew a few files closer to me. "Can you get me my coffee, please? I need it."

 "Rough morning?"

"It's about to be." My eyes started running through the papers, trying to digest the words written on them.

 But, I couldn't.

I couldn't stop thinking about them.

No matter how hard I tried.

Ugh. I hated feeling this way. But at the same time, I liked the way my skin tingled at the thought of them.

This is bad. I thought to myself. Really bad.

I faced the files again, focusing this time. A minute later, a soft knock cut through the room and I shook my head.

"You can come in, Maddie." I continued reading again, and the door clicked, followed by the sound of footsteps.

I froze. Maddie wasn't the one who stepped in.

My head snapped up, and my heart skipped the moment I saw them.

 Lucas and Dominic.

Lucas's eyes were hard, focused, and unreadable, scanning me like he already knew my thoughts.

While Dominic's were softer, teasing, like he was daring me to look away—and failing.

What the hell were they doing here?!

I stood up quickly, almost falling over but I held myself. "Hi. Wh-what are you doing here?" I stuttered softly. "Ethan didn't come with me to the office, so—"

"You know damn well we didn't come for Ethan." Dominic interrupted in a deep, low tone.

"Okay. B-but how do you know that this is...my firm?" My grip on my table grew tighter, steadying me.

They both took a step closer, quick and deliberate.

"Your name is everywhere." Lucas replied calmly, his eyes unmoving from mine. "Also, Hale Chambers, owned by Evelyn Hale. Yeah, it wasn't exactly rocket science."

I swallowed. "It's Evelyn Whitmore now. I'm married to your brother."

"We're aware." They took another step closer.

 "Very, even." Another step.

"But still, we don't know what the fuck you did to us! Why can't we just...stay away from you?" They chorused, closing the space that was between us.

My breath hitched, as I shivered a little. Being that close to them, as their scents rolled into my nose, it was doing things to me.

Lucas touched me first, soft and hesitant at first, before his fingers trailed up my skin, settling on my neck. "You're gorgeous."

"Thank...you." I whispered, as my eyes followed Dominic, who went to my back, and started caressing my body.

His hand wrapped around my neck, before he started planting soft kisses on it. "You smell so good." He breathed, as his hot breath brushed against my skin, making me gasp a little.

Lucas's hand traveled up my skirt, settling just an inch away from my wet panties. "We really want to stay away from you, Evelyn..." He slipped his hand through my panties. "But we can't."

I gasped again, and bit down on my lower lip until I started tasting copper. I wanted to tell them to stop, to let them know that I was also supposed to stay away from them, but I couldn't.

Instead, my body melted into them, as I allowed them to pleasure me; Lucas's curled up fingers moved in and out of me, while Dominic sucked on my neck and massaged my boobs.

"F...fuck," I moaned softly, and swallowed.

"We love the way you taste, the way you smell..." Dominic softly said, as he continued kissing my skin.

"And the way your eyes roll inwardly whenever we make you feel good." Lucas added, and increased the pace of his fingers.

My eyes did roll, as I whimpered a little.

"Yes, just like that." He chuckled, and kissed my parted lips. "You're such a good girl for us. Say it."

"Come on, say it." Dominic breathed into my ear and I slowly swallowed.

"I...am such a good girl..." I cried. "For you two."

Dominic pinched my nipples—hard. "For who?"

 "For you, daddies."

"Now, show us." Lucas's fingers slipped out, as he licked them and stepped backwards. Dominic stepped backwards too, watching me. "Show us how good you are."

I licked my lips a little, before I gripped my hair into a ponytail, and started going down on my knees, slowly, my eyes not leaving theirs.

Suddenly, a knock sounded on the door, sharp and urgent.

My heart dragged, as I gasped a little. "Wh-who is it?" I stuttered, fear surging through me. I couldn't be caught like this.

"It's Maddie. There's someone here for you." Maddie's voice came through the door, and I gasped, about to stand, but Lucas and Dominic stopped me at the same time.

 "Who?"

"She says her name is Bianca, and she's here to see you. She said it's urgent."

My eyes widened, as I tried to stand up again, but they stopped me, shaking their heads.

 "You're not done."

"I have to leave! I can't do this...not now." I said in a rushed tone, wondering what I could do.

Dominic shook his head, his eyes screaming mischief. "No, you're not done with us."

Lucas licked his lips. "You can proceed."

Maddie's voice came through again, louder this time. "Ma'am, can she come in? She just said it's important."

I froze, as they didn't move.

 And neither did I.
