Chapter 1 - A Story from the Past to the Present

After his vision went black and he died unexpectedly, Wei Gao has been floating here ever since.

This is a dark world that is difficult to see clearly.

He can sense his surroundings and even move his body slightly.

However, a thin "veil" always surrounded his eyes, making it difficult for him to see the darkness outside.

In his solitary contemplation, Wei Gao realized a fact: he had probably transmigrated. But for a transmigrator, this start was even worse than that of a satellite spirit that had been hanging in the sky for millions of years that person, though unable to move, could at least see the scenery on Earth; while before Wei Gao was only a dark, chaotic expanse.

Time passed slowly without him realizing it. He was trapped in this thin veil like a prisoner, unable to escape. This veil was only slightly larger than the body he could feel, which prevented him from moving around much.

His control over his body became increasingly superb; he could even slap his right hand with his left to keep from going crazy with loneliness. Fortunately, his perception of time seemed less sensitive than before. He watched as the curtain in front of him grew thinner and thinner until he could look down upon all living beings below through it.

He leaned his head closer, trying to fit his eye through the tiny opening he had painstakingly drilled oddly enough, he only now realized that he had only one enormous eyeball on his body.

However, the sight He saw outside brought tears to His eyes, to His soul as a "human being." Through the gap in the veil, He finally saw the outside world—the universe, the dazzling and beautiful starry sky.

The stars shone brightly in the dark night sky, and countless civilizations gazing at the heavens seemed to be praising the magnificence of the starry sky and saying to the entire universe, "I am here !"

Such a beautiful sight moved the higher dimension, which had spent so long in solitude, to respond involuntarily. His body danced in the sky, projecting himself into the eyes of every living being, and he sang to the universe with a vocal organ from somewhere unknown to him.

Then, Wei Gao was astonished to find that these civilizations had been extinguished one after another, and the starry sky had become quiet again. A huge celestial body composed of countless stars angrily leaped up from below him and slapped him hard across the face.

This sudden attack startled Gaowei, who shrank back into the veil enveloping his body. Watching the enormous celestial body outside cursing and throwing various celestial bodies at the veil, he suddenly felt a sense of pleasure.

It's so satisfying to see others desperate and retaliatory. But why did this guy suddenly attack me? The young Outer God thought gleefully. He didn't yet know the name of this enormous celestial body, nor why those beautiful and vibrant civilizations outside had suddenly vanished. By the time He truly realized the problem, it was already too late to undo the damage, and he had forged a mortal enmity with the Super-Star Ruler before him.

The Superstar Overlord has a terrible temper, and therefore little patience. After discovering that the tortoise shell of this Outer God, whom they called a "higher-dimensional observer," could not be broken, the Superstar Overlord decisively chose to move to another location to continue building his empire.

He is the ruler of the celestial bodies, the master of all the stars, and the creator of the laws of the universe. He established the rules for vast star empires, forcing all living beings to wage wars according to His rules. Such a spectacular starry spectacle naturally attracted the attention of higher dimensions once again, allowing him to gleefully witness the super-star ruler breaking through his defenses time and time again.

"What exactly do you want ? Why do you keep interrupting my game ? You don't want the places I gave you, and you still bother me every day?!" Super Star Overlord said angrily, driven to desperation by his fellow being.

"I really just wanted to take a look," the High Dimensional Overlord replied sincerely, but this only angered the Super Star Overlord even more: "Get lost !"

Get as far away from me as possible!

At this moment, the higher-dimensional observer, having just been scolded, carefully considered whether it had done something offensive. Feeling its geometric body, composed of countless beams of light, it suddenly realized a very strange truth:

"Those civilizations didn't perish because I saw them, did they ? I remember that before... when I was watching the game, it didn't affect the streamer..." The high-dimensional observer extended a piece of its body and unconsciously rubbed it. Only now did it suddenly realize that its body had become infinitely unfamiliar to it, and that its soul had become inhuman in this long period of solitude.

"But it's so boring hiding behind the curtain... I really only glanced at them, and those creatures died just like that ? They're so fragile. Hmm... I have to resist looking too closely. Looking down at them shouldn't cause any problems, right ? Probably not, absolutely not. I don't know anything yet, and I don't want to become an Outer God with terrible luck in the gods."

However, the higher-dimensional observer was unaware that his infamy had already spread from the mouth of the Superstar Overlord, making him the second most hated god among the Outer Gods, second only to the Lord of Mysteries.

Even the charlatan-like "Ring of Fate" and the incessant "Never-ending Mutterings" did not want the higher-dimensional observers to disturb their peaceful life of fighting. This self-destructive trait was the first time they had seen it in an Outer God other than the Celestial Venerable.

Seeing the Celestial Venerable, an ancient being, they would choose to run away decisively, but seeing the High Dimensional Overlord, a "honey badger hiding in a turtle shell," would only make them feel unlucky.

After all, what the Outer Gods talked about was that a higher-dimensional observer had once unconsciously defeated the Celestial Venerable's puppet—this was the news sent back by the Super Star Overlord.

This news shocked many outer gods. The Celestial Venerable's humiliating defeat was ridiculed by the gods again and again. The higher-dimensional observer, as the source, fled to other dimensions until the Celestial Venerable stopped pursuing it. After that, the higher-dimensional observer fully discovered some of its own characteristics, daring only to observe the conflicts in the starry sea from within higher-dimensional space.

Then came the struggle between God and the Celestial. First came the initial awakening, which caused many Outer Gods and the Old Ones to lose their authority and essence. Even the Mother Goddess who stood at the top of the Old Ones had half of her essence torn apart due to the intense aggregation.

The two gods, out of control, gathered all the surrounding elements and properties, engaging in a passionate battle amidst the chaos. The higher dimensions nearly lost control of their power, joining the fray as higher-dimensional observers.

Thanks to His alienated spirit, He did not lose His Origin Essence like His old nemesis, the Super Star Ruler. He was only fooled by the Celestial Venerable a couple of times before successfully escaping the battlefield.

The world was shrouded in a barrier, isolating it from the power of the outer gods. After a selfless battle, the Celestial Venerable and God both perished on Earth. Only after confirming the deaths of the two gods repeatedly did the higher-dimensional observer dare to open his eyes.

He gazed upon this land and found that the creatures on it did not once again succumb to madness because of His gaze. So the high-dimensional observer clicked his tongue in satisfaction, hiding behind the curtain in front of him as he watched the ancient sun god awaken from the chaotic sea, transforming into a sun and cultivating new radiance on the earth.

The higher-dimensional observer, half-asleep, surveyed everything before him, ignoring his kin who were crowding outside the barrier, pounding on it. He slowly processed his memories, witnessing the sunset and the awakening of the new gods in the process.

He saw the Black Emperor break away from His land, and one by one, the Black Emperors perished under the siege of the gods; He saw the Creator's half-body roaring madly, and doors opening in the starry sky, never to be closed again.

As time passed, He gradually regained consciousness, carefully preserving His memories from when He was still "human," placing them at the core of His mind. He saw the distant crimson moonlight, and He saw the millennia-long scheme of the two goddesses.

The higher-dimensional observer touched his face, where red marks from the Celestial Venerable's whip still lingered. Thinking of this, he casually manipulated the chaotic dimensions around him making the lines that made up those dimensions taut, snapping like rubber bands.

The two blows the Celestial Venerable struck Him were particularly brutal, and even now, some of the pain from that time still lingers.

The Celestial Venerable surely still harbors resentment towards me, so I cannot allow this old scoundrel to be resurrected this is what the high-dimensional observer, now fully awake from his daze, thought. He lurked outside the barrier, watching below with indifferent eyes, witnessing the Fallen Mother Goddess corrupting Roselle and seeing the Mother Tree of Desire controlling the bound ones.

The unfortunate consciousness of "Eternity" was sealed by the Celestial Venerable and turned into a wishing lamp, constantly pleading for help from its original form. Countless outer gods tried to sneak into the barrier to retrieve their source matter, but the original barrier firmly kept them outside. Compared to these miserable brethren, the higher-dimensional observer felt incredibly lucky.

The higher-dimensional observer remained remarkably low-key, continuing to watch over the earth with its own eyes as always. Even the Super Star Overlord, who had dealt with the higher-dimensional observer for countless years, couldn't quite understand the attitude of this mischievous "miniature Celestial Venerable."

Logically speaking, the higher-dimensional observer who was previously being chased and beaten by the Celestial Venerable should have been as eager as God to crush the Celestial Venerable's coffin lid. However, the current higher-dimensional observer is just silently looking down as He has for thousands of years, seemingly having no ambition for anything on this earth.

Until a "velvet curtain" fell to the ground and was swept away by the crimson moonlight. A young man who had been lying on a table awoke in a daze from a dream that had lasted for thousands of years, looking around at everything that had suddenly become unfamiliar with him with some fear.

In the eyes of the other Outer Gods, the High Dimensional Overlord suddenly peeked out from behind the veil that had concealed Him for millennia, and, as if suffering from Celestial PTSD, went berserk and crashed into Earth. He, carrying primal matter, slammed violently against the barrier, instantly startling the gods on Earth who had "newly" become true gods.

The primordial energy surged outside the barrier, while the gods on Earth used it to fiercely clash with the higher-dimensional observers. Taking advantage of the barrier's weakening, the Mother Tree of Desire intensified its erosion of the bound, and the Uncertain Mist also attempted to rush in to complete itself.

And the higher-dimensional observers, taking advantage of the chaotic beginnings they created and the perfect situation created by the Outer Gods, sent one of their two pathways, Sequence Nine, to Earth.

Then, watching the gods battle, the High Dimension Overlord gathered his somewhat damaged source matter and prepared to flee. After giving the Hidden Sage, who was trying to steal his chickens, a good slap, he once again hid behind the curtain.

Wei Gao spat out a mouthful of blood, sensing the characteristics transmitted from "himself." He moved his hands slightly, only to see deep, bone-revealing wounds on them. Blood flowed from the abdomen of this body, causing the "corpse," which had become slightly more alive due to absorbing extraordinary characteristics, to quickly lose its breath.

"This is not good. If this body dies, my part of my soul might be discovered by the Goddess of Night. But the divine war in the heavens is about to end. If I use the power of my main body to heal this body, it might still be discovered. Should I abandon this body ?"

Gao Wei gave a cold laugh. When he unleashed his will, he deliberately prioritized the people dying in Tingen City who had some kind of mystical connection with "Source Castle".

Of course, the two who read the Antigonus family notes are an exception; they were the ones the Goddess of Night and Adam had specifically arranged for their advancement. Even if the previous high-dimensional overlords were so audacious as to dare to confront the Celestial Venerable, the current high-dimensional beings are unwilling to confront two true gods related to the source matter at the ninth sequence.

However, he was lucky; an unfortunate member of the Abraham family was killed while passing through the area, and he wasn't even an extraordinary person who could attract the church's attention.

Logically speaking, it's not worth it to injure one's true self for an avatar. But the opportunity is rare, and there may only be one chance to firmly nail the coffin lid of the Celestial Venerable.

The higher-dimensional observer was still prepared to act directly, hammering a few more nails into the coffin lid of the Celestial Venerable. As He clarified His plan, the Outer Gods who had previously attacked either left satisfied, having further deepened their impact on reality, or were driven back to their huddled positions in the starry sky. The higher-dimensional observer once again emerged from His own essence, gently tracing patterns above Earth with His limbs.

A sliver of color lit up the barrier surrounding Earth, and even the Outer God, Primal Hunger, who had devoured his own brain, was shocked by the recklessness of this seemingly out-of-place "alien" being from the higher dimensions.

He was easily defeated by the crowd, and as he fled, he casually pulled at his veil to cover himself completely a gesture that seemed to be showing off that he still possessed complete source matter.

Unnoticed by anyone, a paintbrush appeared in the hand of a mortal on Earth. He used colors to paint over his body, repairing his dead form and erasing the bloodstains beside him. The higher dimension coldly looked up at the sky, where a ray of dawn rose from the horizon, seemingly obscuring the starry sky where countless gods had fought to the death.

He adjusted his aristocratic-looking top hat and walked out of the alley, dressed in brightly colored but exceptionally sophisticated clothes.
