I was truly heartbroken but still proud to be born in such a great family. The worst part was that it is related to the coolest guy in the whole academy - Rowan Ashford. Yes, the Rowan Ashford who I had a very bad feeling about. I was raised by my grandparents who told me that my parents had died because of a disaster. But the truth was longer and worse than what they told me. See, both my parents are magical, a fact which I got to know today. My mom, Luna Vail had the element of wind which is still super rare and I got it from her. But my dad, Elior Vail, the other hand had the element of water. So, their elements weren't supposed to get close to each other. But still, they always loved each other and couldn't get separated. The main person who tried to break their relationship was Rowan' s dad, Blaise Ashford, who loved my mom so much. He took every advantage of killing my dad, which made my mom hate him even more. Then right after i was born, there was a very huge fight between my parents and his dad which killed my parents and gave several severe injuries to his dad. After killing my mom, he got more depressed. So, in order to move on, he married Ashara Ashford, Rowan' s mom. Perfect. I got an enemy as the coolest guy in the academy because of our parents. I knew we would not get along with each other.
After Ashley completed the story about my parents, there was an awkward silence in the room. No one uttered a word. They just kept staring at me. I sat on my bed, staring at the wall, unable to digest the truth.
All the fire people started giving me side eyes and death stares which was completely awkward in the starting. But later, I got used to it. On the other hand, me, Ashley, Orion and Lyra were having so much fun. I can't see Lyra many times because she has a different element and her classes would be different. That time she would spend time with Claire Bennett, a girl with her element. A few days are very boring when we have double potions and history. But some are so fun when we have double incantations and sports. Sports is the only period where I can give my best because my flying skills are so good because of my flying element. Another thing is I already got 2 detentions even its been four days since I came here. I hate rules. So i don't follow their rules. I follow my own.
