Chapter 6 - CHAPTER FIVE: FLOOR BOSSES

Tsukimi was thrown off the zombie dragon he was riding with his father. He fell on his face and literally ate dirt." Ouch, what the fuck old man!" Tsukimi shouted in annoyance spitting out dirt.

" Welcome to the Forest of Divine Beasts, I will be leaving you here for a month. All I want is for you to survive and adapt to the crazy animals here. P.S. You need to be able to use your mana manipulation throughout the night since the eclipse wolves hunt in the night. Good luck," said the king flying off.

" You old fart!" shouted Tsukimi.

" I WOULD RUN IF I WAS YOU, IF YOU WANT TO ESCAPE THOSE DEMON VIPERS BEHIND YOU!" shouted the king in warning.

Tsukimi turned around to see eight giant black horned vipers. They rose to the size of a fully grown oak tree and hissed at him. Tsukimi took off trying to survive. He ran all over but the vipers were ripping trees from their roots as they chased after him. Luckily he was faster due to his mana manipulation and was leaving them behind when heavy weights appeared on his legs. He fell on his face and heard the king say," It wouldn't be training if you easily escaped. You should continue running."

Tsukimi glared at the heavens before getting up and running with his weights in hand. His speed was cut by a third. The vipers were slowly approaching so he needed a plan before they got him. He was thinking when he heard rushing water. He ran towards the sound. It was a river with crazy rapids. He ran along its bank before spotting a log and hopping onto it. It was one wild ride but at least he was safe; or so he thought. The vipers followed the river bank and were catching up. Then the sound of rushing water was even louder up ahead. He looked to see a waterfall. It was a fifty foot drop. He knew he would survive but the question was will the snakes follow him down the drop. He put the weights on one hand and rage baited the vipers. It worked pretty well. The vipers pounced just when they got to the drop. He fell with them but he knew he would survive. He aimed for the spikes at the bottom and was impaled. The vipers were all slain by their temper. Tsukimi picked himself up and got out of the spikes. He got onto one of the corpses and emitted poison gas by accident and decayed most of the corpses. That is when his status window opened and showed him that he earned some skills. One of them caught his eye quite well.

Tsukimi raised his hand and aimed it at the sky. A giant purple magic circle appeared at their feet. From it came twelve giant zombie vipers. They were demons on the ground that when Aracnaline looked at them she shrieked. Tsukimi ordered the vipers to kill any and all living creatures and to only bring strong creatures. The vipers took off on a killing spree. Tsukimi rode Aracnaline the whole way with Grim and Taro on the sides. It was generally simple until floor thirty. The boss was a zombie man. I know, it sounds weak or stupid or whatever you got but this thing was no joke. It was virtually unkillable. Tsukimi used his gas but if even one cell survives, he will fully regenerate. Tsukimi chopped him up with poison tipped daggers but he still survived. He decided that this guy was perfect as a general. Tsukimi could have easily killed it by striking its core but it was more informational if he tested his limits. So he used the skill he earned from his training. The same he used on the vipers and Aracnaline. ' Necromancy (King level)'. He used this plus a skill he earned during the class ceremony, ' Undead Authority '. With this he took the undead life of the zombie man and raised him back to the undead to be his general. He stood and took a bow. Tsukimi smirked. He entered the rest of the floors but since it was chock full of zombies, he took control of all of them in the nine floors. Then came the fortieth floor. This one is also worth noting. The terrain was a castle in a cemetery forest. From the onset, the air was full of miasma. Instantly, the cemetery rumbled and skeletal hands came from the graves. Taro's guard was raised and he pulled out his katana. Aracnaline told Tsukimi to be careful. Tsukimi said the weaklings were not worth his time so he got off. He ordered his generals to keep the swarm from interfering as he went into the castle and told the vipers to keep from attacking. Both Tsukimi and Grim ran towards the castle. Tsukimi intentionally did not dodge any of the skeletons that attacked him, it was his generals job. Taro charged at them as Aracnaline followed him keeping him safe all the way. The duo entered the castle without a scratch and ran up the stairs. They got to the throne room in a matter of seconds. Inside was something Tsukimi was not expecting. It was a knight wraith ( a spirit that haunts a place due to a high number of resentments by the previous owners). It sat on the throne. Its eyes opened to show a red glowing pair. It was slumped forward and it had a red aura." You look like you are not just here to purify my existence," it said in a dark and deep voice.

" How perceptive. I am prince Tsukimi Tombbreak, son of the undead king and I would love for you to become my war general," said Tsukimi.

" Hahaha," it laughed a deranged cackle," so the undead prince wants to recruit me. I have no problem with that but I only devote my strength to those who show they are strong. Prove to me you are worthy of my strength."

" Sure, if you are ready old man," Tsukimi said pulling out his daggers and taking a stance.

" I like your spunk young prince," said the wraith.

The wraith stood up and a great sword fell from the ceiling."TO ARMS!" it shouted as it charged at Tsukimi with intent to kill.

Tsukimi tried to parry when it turned out to be a feint. The wraith kicked him in the gut he was sent flying through a wall." So you are still alive?" the wraith asked in shock.

" That.. was noth...ing old... man," said Tsukimi getting up out off the rubble.

Tsukimi stretched his arms and took a stance. He blinked out of sight appearing in front of the wraith dagger at its face. The wraith dodged at the last minute by moving back to fall for Tsukimi's trap. Tsukimi slammed it into the ground and stabbed its gut. A screech invaded the airspace. Tsukimi jumped back in alertness. The wraith cackled in amusement as he got up slowly. " Nice one prince, shall we go a round?" it requested.

" Sure," agreed Tsukimi as he slowly approached his foe.

The wraith was now up as Tsukimi stood right in front of him. The two raised their weapons and moved too fast for a normal person to watch. As sparks flew into the air from their clash. Then the shockwaves started and the wraith's sword shattered. It moved back and laughed in amusement.

" You are quite the adversary but it looks like you are holding back," said the wraith.

" Same for you. I thought wraiths had horses," said Tsukimi.

" I guess we should stop holding back," said the wraith as a skeleton horse with a red flaming man galloped into the room," Meet Max, my friend and companion."

" My turn," said Tsukimi as his skin turned darker to that of a rotting corpse and his eyes gained a sort of deranged look to them," This is my zombie form. Shall we now fight seriously, Grim," said Tsukimi with determination," Try to survive old man."
