The world revelation echoed through the palace .
All higher demons started appearing infront of me, their movements were seem to be almost frozen to me. Of cours now I have became much faster.
Tide of higher demons was being slashed through by my JUTE.
Tearing through the waves was I.
JUTE was glowing too, surely getting his thirst satisfied by the blood of these puny demons.
After sometime, I reached infront of him, Bronze Knight.
He was looking slightly annoyed. You will pay for taking my eye you bastard.
Resolving I launched myself towards him.
A sudden quake and a huge part of palace was destroyed.
It was us that are causing enormous collateral damage.
Bronze Knight was surprised by my speed and strength. It was unbelievable for him.
" What's surprising you so much?"
I asked while targetting Bronze Knight's head .
[Bronze Knight]: Looks like the revelation wasn't bluff.
He said while blocking my attack with his sword.
I scoffed at him and kicked him away.
He received the kick on his chest and was thrown away to nearby mountain and a significant part of moutain just vanished.
" S Tier Ability (ILLUSION)!"
I screamed while casting illusion on Bronze Knight while dashing towards him.
The illusion was simple, he would see me coming from two sides. Usually lower tier abilities don't work on powerful opponents but this is S Tier Ability being amplified by the combined Aura of me and JUTE. Even Bronze Knight should have problem to deal with it.
Bronze Knight swinged his sword so fast that it rotated completed circle within a millisecond.
I just returned to defensive stance to avoid any significant damage.
My healing ability is recovered and evolved but I can't afford it to get nullified again since it's possible that Bronze Knight is hiding some trick under his sleeves to counter my healing.
(JUTE): Just beat him already!! Why taking so time?
Well, JUTE can talk and only I can hear it as it's wielder.
(" Shut up! It's not piece of cake even if I have evolved! ")
JUTE can talk with me in our mind. Yes, it has mind connected to mine so we can have exchange in an instant without enemy learning about it.
Even if I spend days talking to JUTE in our mind web , it will only be few seconds passed outside.
(JUTE): Bronze Knight will soon use his Sword Style 0. You will have to avoid getting into it.
("Yes, from my last fight, I understood one certain thing and that is...his technique has a range of 50 metres. This technique can't be extended beyond 50 metres radius. However it is just an assumption.")
(JUTE): Not wrong assumption. The power of Earthen Knight is calculated based of his/her range in general. Since Bronze Knight is among weakest Earthen Knight, his style range should be less than 100 metres and 50 metres is quite possible.
("He can't use it multiple times in single day. He had just used it sometime ago howev...")
It was when Bronze Knight utter some unbelievable words.
[Bronze Knight]: Sword Stytle 0, A THOUSAND SLASHES!
I was within his attack range.
Bronze Knight's Style 0 is one of the most powerful technique in short range techniques.
As same suggests, it releases thousand slashes towards selected target.
Each slash can cut through any concept. For example, space manipulation, low tier healing abilities, magic barrier etc
However it has certain limitations. First and the most obvious one is range. It's attack range is 45 metres. This technique doesn't work on someone who is outside the 45 metre range.
Second limitation is the application of more than thousand different concepts to counter the slashes. If someone uses more than 1000 separate magic barriers, all 1000 concept cutting slashes will get cancelled out with the barriers not reaching the target.
Third limitation is attribute. This limitation is not much explored so it can't be neglected. Bronze Knight's attribute is Brown which is among weak Attributes . If target activates a technique having high hax and stronger attribute then the Style 0 of Bronze Knight will get nullified. Blue colour attribute is the strongest attribute to exist.
This is everything I know thanks to JUTE.
While hearing those words I activated multiple barriers while JUTE activated absorption series.
After the chaos, I was lying on the ground. A huge slash mark on my chest.
I was barely alive thanks to JUTE again. Though it looks like I can't fight with my current situation.
Bronze Knight was standing still. He actually had some scratches on his armour. Looks like JUTE redirected few slashes back to Bronze Knight though they reached with less attack potency.
I can't win like this, never.
(JUTE): aghhh... You are so weak, so weak. Use me properly dumbo!
("Shut up, I am wounded. I can't even move.")
(JUTE): I hate this, I hate this! Fine, change in my plans.
("You had any plan?")
(JUTE): It was something not related to this very fight but I think I need to do this. I am granting you Style 0. My own sword style 0.
("But aren't you a sword yourself?")
(JUTE): Shut up, shut up! How can you compare me to ordinary soul less swords? Argh... that's why I hate this generation!
("I didn't mean to hurt your sentiments. But aren't Sword Styles usable by only cursed humans like Knights?")
(JUTE): Yes , normally that is right however my soul is a cursed one and even though I am not human, my physical existence is that of a sword that can CHANNELISE Sword Style and that's why I have Sword Style 0. However my user should have great durability to endure side effects later. Also Sword Style isn't limited to Earthen Knights, it was originated from GODLY KNIGHTS. Those are the only knights who know Style 0, 1 and 2. They live in spiritual realm generally. Also no Earthen Knight knows all three sword styles.
("I am ready, grant me style 0 because if I couldn't take down Bronze Knight here then our side will suffer great loss.")
(JUTE): It is pleasant to hear such words again after long time. I am granting you Style 0.
Bronze Knight was standing just before me. He was ready to strike and kill me at any moment.
I clenched JUTE and muttered the words which shocked Bronze Knight for his life.
"Sword Style 0, CURSE ERASURE!!"
While world stopped. It were just me and Bronze Knight.
His physical body was already erased as soon as I activated my style. It is his soul that is infront of me.
We are present in Soul web.
He was looking at me with satisfied eyes.
I stared at my body carefully, there were no wounds except for one eye which I lost in earlier fight in palace.
My body was glowing so was he. Of course these are our souls radiating Aura.
[Bronze Knight]: I thank you O warrior for freeing me from my cruel fate.
I was slightly surprised. Slightly? No, I was completely surprised.
Why is he thanking me for? I just killed him .
[Bronze Knight]: We Earthen Knights are cursed humans with immortality. We live deep inside Earth, in another world. I was forcefully contracted by ancient humans to serve this kingdom and so I was obeying orders from all generations of rulers , however when I learnt about Mayor being demon...and unleashing cruel acts on citizens in secrecy, I couldn't forgive myself because of my powerlessness due to contract. You freed me from this sin. I thank you again warrior...
After saying those words, the soul of Bronze Knight started walking away from me.
I was confused . Whatever happened with him... I feel bad for him. If it wasn't for Mayor... he could have been added to Derono's army against Great Demon Lord. He could have been a member along with us, one of us.
Fate is really cruel to twist the destiny.
Some accept defeat midway, while other reach it after Great sacrifices.
Unlucky ones just disappear even after suffering Great pain.
After sometime Bronze Knight's soul just disappeared...he was finally free and walked away.
My feelings were bittersweet. Only if he would have met with Derono instead of greedy ones. Though Derono himself is greedy for the sake of others.
I opened my eye. JUTE was lying beside me. I just returned from Soul Web.
(JUTE): Hey , I was calling you for long time. I thought you were dead for sure! What happened?
("Nothing, I just found one more reason to fight against Great Demon Lord.")
(JUTE):... That's the spirit! You got great potential boy! Now you can suffer some side effects of using Sword Style I think.
("Wait what?")
Suddenly nerve wracking pain flows through my body.
"Arghhh... That hurts! THAT HURTS!! YOU PIECE OF SHIT!!"
(JUTE): I told it beforehand boy. Though you won't feel such pain next time you use it.
"SHUT UP!"
That piece of junk!! It damn hurts! Looks like I won't participate in battlefield just soon.
I will take some rest for now.
