Kao Dao Ji frowned.
Once more, he gave shape to that same translucent cloud.
Golden particles, which soon turned into lightning, gathered continuously.
The sound of static could be felt.
It seemed that the Killer Move would collapse at the next instant, yet.
White drops of Heavenly Energy appeared from seemingly nowhere, and they adhered to the cloud, hardening it.
The appearance of such a thing seemed akin to that of round glass or the shape of the aperture.
The white drops began to spin rapidly, momentum was carried forward using speed itself, he managed to somewhat stabilize the cloud, and then.
A pulse was sent.
With his full might, Kao Dao Ji sent the cloud flying like a cannon.
And as it did.
Instants later, it exploded into countless pieces.
Creating a gorgeous golden explosion that colored the skies.
Cold sweat poured out of Kao Dao Ji's forehead, and he allowed his body to fall into the clouds as he rested.
He was breathing heavily, and as he did, he subconsciously opened the gates of his aperture.
Drawing in the surrounding Earth and Heaven Qi.
One had to take into account that Heavenly Energy was a Land Spirit's blood; without it, they would immediately collapse.
"My technique…It's still flawed. Whilst I can contain it forcefully by using Heavenly Energy, that only builds the pressure.
Enough to make a bomb, but I don't think enough for other uses."
Still, he was progressing steadily, whilst he did not know what exactly ' Extreme Yang ' would bring to Cloud Path, he had figured out some principles.
Apart from the lighting, it seemed to be related to annihilation, to destruction.
Even so. Neither of those two words resonated with him; he felt that there was a concept he was missing, that, if solved, could enable him to master this Killer Move in mere minutes.
He frowned deeply as he thought of this.
Even so.
He turned his head towards Le Tu, who was staring at him attentively.
"You know, you may not learn as quickly as I do. But you should not dismiss yourself; that trick of yours is quite something.
Who knows what you may be able to do once you master this ability." Le Tu said in an attempt to cheer his mood.
Kao Dao Ji sighed.
He knew better than to take those words seriously, especially because he knew that Le Tu always acted in such an awfully kind way, like a parent who praised his 5-year-old's drawing.
He stared at Le Tu and said.
"Regardless. How is Shung Mia Yin doing? Has she grasped the basics of my Killer Move?"
"No. She is still stuck in the second step." Le Tu sighed helplessly.
"How? From her perspective, roughly three and a half months should have passed by now, and yet she still cannot grasp such a simple thing…"
"Who knows? Maybe your body's just weird. After all, the ability to use Heavenly Power is not one you should have, you know? Not to mention whatever made you keep your consciousness as a Land Spirit.
Still. Perhaps she could learn faster if you gave her the full Killer Move so she could study it and make her own modifications."
But Kao Dao Ji shook his head. Why the hell would he do that?
Shung Mia Yin was supposed to know just enough of it that, with his aid from his side, she could complete the Killer Move. Otherwise, what would be the point?
His supposed 'partnership' would be a huge joke if Le Tu could do everything in his own.
Le Tu scratched his head awkwardly. Of course, he understood this, and yet. Who would want to be stranded with no way back for years?
"mmm…." Le Tu touched his chin as he pondered.
"Should I use that Gu or not?" He thought to himself, before shaking his head.
It was too risky. Whilst Kao Dao Ji could still bail him out, he did not know where the hell that Gu could bring him to.
Besides. There was still plenty of time before taking desperate measures.
…
Suddenly, he raised his eyebrows as he saw Kao Dao Ji approaching.
"Hey, have you forgotten already? Well, I hope you didn't forget your payment at least." He said teasingly.
Le Tu chuckled.
"Right…Give me a sec." He closed his eyes, lowering the 'gates' from his aperture and then.
Kao Dao Ji stretched his palm towards his aperture.
With just a single gesture, Kao Dao Ji could harm it greatly, yet even as tides upon tides of Immortal Essence were summoned, Le Tu did not budge an inch.
He seemed completely still and tranquil.
White steam gathered around Kao Dao Ji's palms as his power surged.
Entering his aperture, countless clouds rapidly descended.
From within the steam, one could see tiny orbs of hanging power.
The steam exploded in all directions, scattering those orbs everywhere towards the skies.
Then.
The tiny orbs began to shine with green grape essence.
And thus, rapidly multiplied across Le Tu's aperture.
Forming a massive field of clouds stretching during several parts.
Of course, the forms of those clouds were anomalous, one could easily see with the naked eye, of the millions of particles that composed it.
Yet as the quantities stabilized, and as the green grape finally ran its course.
There was no longer any energy to sustain those cells that rapidly 'perished', yet even then.
Their substance remained, like a cell exploding all its nutrients leaked into the atmosphere, and the surrounding clouds rapidly stabilized.
Followed by this.
Another pulse was sent from Kao Dao Ji's aperture towards Le Tu's.
Rapidly.
Those clouds hardened, turning into a rock-solid substance.
Le Tu, who was already prepared, smiled.
Dozens of earth clones of Le Tu could be seen everywhere; they were all flying towards him.
And in their hands, one could see a pair of mushrooms being held in each hand.
Those mushrooms looked white and lumpy, almost like clouds.
Then. Those mushrooms began to secrete their spores into the air, mixing together with the hardened clouds hanging onto the surface.
At this point, Le Tu's plan could be understood; he wanted to fill his aperture with an endless amount of clouds to fill the skies.
Making better use of the space within his aperture.
Of course, this could not be done in one go.
It was a steady process that needed to be repeated a few hundred times before his aperture could be filled; the process had to be steady, or else the ecosystem in his aperture would be affected drastically.
Regardless.
There was a final step to fulfill.
Another horde of earth clones could be seen flying towards the clouds in their hands, one could see a shiny blue soil.
Diamond soil. An excellent Earth Path material that could fertilize the ground, yet it needed a lot of time to be applied in large volumes.
Which was why.
Le Tu purposefully dispersed it into the clouds, followed by which.
Kao Dao Ji employed several 'water' Path Killer Moves to rapidly dissolve that soil into the clouds, a process that generally would take days, but happened in instants.
Once this process is concluded.
Kao Dao Ji ordered.
"Let there be rain!"
Muddy water, mixed with white-blue crystals, fell onto the ground.
And it scattered everywhere, in an unnatural way, those clouds send their rain hundreds of kilometers away from where they should be.
Of course, it was the product of using Gu's to redirect the water.
A delicate and beautiful process that would have seemed godlike back on earth was done in just a matter of hours.
Yet.
That was not what caught Kao Dao Ji's attention, instead.
His gaze remained in the rain and in the dissolved soil.
He clicked his tongue.
"One could say that I am destroying the original materials, preserving only their basic composition. Yet, I am just dissolving them."
"Before my Extreme-Yang seemed to produce lightning and also had a destructive effect, destroying anything within it.
Yet what if it was just dissolving them?
Cloud Path is said to be related to four Paths mainly: Lighting, Water, Wind, and Ice Path.
What if two are associated with Yang and the other two with Yin?"
As he had this idea, his eyes shone brightly like the morning sun itself.
"Le Tu. I have an idea. Let me send another tide of Immortal Essence…"
"Huh?" Le Tu frowned before agreeing.
Another cloud rapidly entered Le Tu's aperture; this cloud began to ascend far, far above from the other clouds and then.
It began to shine brightly in vibrant golden colors.
Le Tu stared at the scene with widened eyes.
"Are you testing a Killer Move inside my aperture???"
"Hey, I already figured it out. It's safe, don't worry." Kao Dao Ji replied reassuringly.
Then, he added.
"Now. I just need you to add some materials."
"Where?"
"To the cloud, obviously." Kao Dao Ji shrugged nonchalantly.
"What?"
"Just imagine that it is a bonfire, without resources, it will dry up. Just bring things that are highly flammable."
Le Tu gritted.
Several tons of hard stone were shot towards the golden cloud.
And as it did, it rapidly bloated.
Expanding in size.
It looked utterly bizarre and alien.
As it used those exact nutrients to grow larger and larger still.
Almost like a true fire.
Le Tu wondered.
"What does this even have to do with Cloud Path?"
"Everything!" Kao Dao Ji exclaimed.
"It's all so clear to me now. Clouds expand and stretch by borrowing materials from outside, expanding in size and magnitude.
Before releasing their contents towards the surface, and those materials sooner or later go up.
Starting the cycle all over again.
Extreme Yang is all about that 'release.'"
Le Tu's eyelids twitched.
"And how exactly does that help me? Do I need to keep burning materials forever?"
"Relax. It should stabilize by now…" Kao Dao Ji muttered.
He took a deep breath.
"By now, it has already gathered enough mass. As of now, it will merely use some of the 'water' in the atmosphere to sustain itself, as well as the Heaven and Earth Qi. It should remain stable for a couple of years at least.
And in return. Well.
You got an artificial sun."
"Heh. Heh. What do you think of my 'Morning Cloud' Killer Move?"
