Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: The Honors Are Mine

During the scene where Lucas Miller (playing Itadori) had to swallow the finger and transform into the King of Curses, Sukuna, the young actor hit a wall. He couldn't find the right "vibe." After all, the switch from the sunny, selfless Itadori to the ancient, sadistic Sukuna was a psychological chasm.

After eighteen failed takes, Director Julian Thorne sighed, rubbing his temples. "Look, I think Take 6 was 'good enough.' Let's just move on to the next setup."

"Julian, give me five minutes with Lucas?"

Leo Vance, who had been leaning against a C-stand watching with intense focus, stepped forward.

The crew held their breath. On a Julian Thorne set, the director was the undisputed king. Challenging his call was usually a one-way ticket to being blacklisted. The actresses - Bella Brooks, Jade Lane, and Maya Lane watched with wide eyes, bracing for a classic "Hellraiser" explosion.

But to everyone's shock, Thorne simply leaned back in his chair with a curious smirk. "Sure, Leo. Show me what you've got."

Lucas Miller felt a chill as Leo approached. He'd heard the rumors about Leo's temper and assumed he was about to get a legendary dressing down. But then, an incredibly suppressed, deranged voice hissed in his ear.

"Lucas... have you ever truly wanted to tear the world apart? Have you ever looked at a crowd and thought about how easy it would be to cut them down?"

The moment Lucas met Leo's gaze, his knees buckled.

What kind of eyes were those? They were overflowing with a cold, predatory madness. The sheer weight of Leo's "God-Tier" presence made Lucas feel like he was standing in front of a literal monster.

Leo raised a hand, and Lucas instinctively flinched, shielding his face. But instead of a blow, he felt a firm, warm hand patting his shoulder.

"Do you feel that, Lucas?" Leo asked, his voice returning to its usual lazy drawl. "Sukuna is a king who hasn't seen the sun in a thousand years. When he wakes up, he doesn't just want to kill; he wants to savor the carnage. Don't play it loud. Play it hungry. When you say the line about human flesh... make it sound like you're describing the finest steak you've ever smelled."

Leo performed the transformation twice on the spot. When he slipped back into that murderous gaze, even the crew members ten feet away felt their hair stand on end.

Is he actually a sociopath? Lucas wondered. There's no way that's just acting! Someone check this man's backyard for bodies!

"Scene One, Take Nineteen! Action!"

As the clapperboard snapped, Lucas began his performance. This time, it was like a switch had been flipped. Julian Thorne leaned into the monitor, his eyes widening. Lucas wasn't just acting, he was channeling.

Leo watched from the shadows, satisfied. The 90-out-of-100 performance was more than enough for the first episode.

"Okay! Cut! That's a wrap on this scene!" Thorne shouted, genuinely impressed.

During the break, Thorne casually let it slip that the script's creator wasn't some anonymous ghostwriter, but Leo himself. The news hit the cast like a freight train.

"You're telling me Leo Vance wrote this?" Bella Brooks asked, her brain struggling to reconcile the "Hellraiser" with the genius world-building she'd been reading.

"He's been working on the sets, the costumes, everything," Thorne added. "The kid is a monster."

The actresses looked at Leo with a mix of suspicion and newfound awe. They began to wonder if the "Hollywood Hellraiser" was actually a front for a dark, brilliant mastermind.

...

The production moved at a breakneck pace. Whenever Leo stepped onto the set as Gojo Satoru, the energy shifted. When he delivered his signature line - "It's fine. I'm the strongest," with that casual, arrogant confidence, the cast felt like the character had literally walked off the page and into reality.

"Leo... how did you get this good?" Bella finally asked during a night shoot.

The other actors, and even Director Thorne, leaned in to hear the answer. Even Riley Evans, who saw Leo every day, was baffled by his sudden transformation into a master thespian.

"My secret?" Leo put on a solemn face. "Well, for one, the character fits my natural arrogance. But mostly, I've been studying the classics. I spent the last few months watching every 'Best Actor' winner in history. If you want to be the best, you study the best. There was this one indie thriller about a man losing his mind... I must have watched the lead actor's eye contact a thousand times."

The group nodded, half-skeptical but unable to argue with the results.

...

Two months flew by. Finally, it was the final day of principal photography.

The last scene to be filmed was the legendary moment where Gojo Satoru removes his blindfold to unleash his "Infinite Void" against a powerful curse.

The entire cast and crew crowded around the monitors. For two months, Leo had stayed "in character," never removing the blindfold on set. He was always the first one in and the last one out.

"I've been waiting for this for sixty days," Bella whispered, her eyes glued to the screen, a bit of drool nearly escaping her lip.

"Watch your thirst, Bella," Jade teased, though she already had her phone out, ready to snap a "wrap" photo the second Thorne called it.

"He's going to be gorgeous, isn't he?" Maya sighed.

Even the male actors were invested. Lucas Miller and Steven Grant had grown immensely under Leo's unofficial tutelage. To them, Leo wasn't a "Hellraiser" anymore, he was a mentor.

By this point, Julian Thorne had practically checked out. Leo had helped with camera blocking, fight choreography, and even lighting setups. Thorne had joked daily: "Leo, why am I even here? You want to direct the next take while I take a nap in my trailer?"

The crew viewed Leo as a creative freak of nature.

Then, the moment happened. On the monitor, Leo's hand reached up. He slowly pulled the black fabric down, revealing the "Six Eyes."

The soundstage went silent. Then, a collective intake of breath.

The visual impact was devastating. With the silver-white hair and those piercing, crystalline eyes (enhanced by Leo's "Aura" buff and top-tier VFX), he didn't look human. He looked like a god.

"I'm... I'm hungry," Bella blurted out.

"Me too," Maya whispered, her eyes glazed.

"Wait, you guys too?" Lucas added, staring at the screen.

"Dude, get away from me," Robert Sterling laughed, shoving Lucas. "You're not supposed to be part of the fan club!"

"Cut! And that is a wrap on Jujutsu Kaisen Season One!"

Julian Thorne's voice boomed through the speakers. The actors and staff erupted into cheers, jumping up and hugging each other.

"We did it! It's actually done!"

As the celebration broke out, Leo pulled the blindfold back up, a tired but satisfied smirk on his face. He thought about the original Gojo-sensei from his old world. Don't worry, Satoru, he thought. In this world, I won't let you become a meme. I'm going to make you an immortal legend.
