Mario is currently relaxing in a nice hot spring located next to the hotel he, Princess Peach and Toadsworth are staying at for their vacation at Isle Delfino. He deserved this hot time after the nonsense that happened before.
Bowser, Bowser Jr. and a shadow replica of Mario desecrated Isle Delfino with graffiti and Mario was framed for it, and he was forced by the island natives to clean it all up. Suddenly, he heard the door to the spring open up. He was a bit startled at first, but calms down, thinking it's probably Toadsworth or some of the other toads that want a nice hot bath. It became a nasty shock for him when he heard that it wasn't who he expected.
"Mario? You in there?" Called out a familiar woman's voice.
Mario gasped in shock. "Princess Peach?!" He ducked his whole body under the hot water. "What are you doing here?!"
Peach giggled. "You're quite jumpy, tonight. Anyway, I'm here to give you a little reward for rescuing me and saving the day."
"But... But..." Mario sputtered.
"Relax," Peach said comfortingly. "It's a co-ed bath. Didn't you read the sign?"

"'Love'?" Mario repeated. He is stunned to hear that word.
"Yes, Mario. 'Love'," Peach responded. "Mario, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I would like you to be my king. If you'll have it."
Mario looked at Peach with wide eyes. He smiled, and then he nodded, accepting Peach's request.
Peach smiled. "That's settled." She held up a wet towel. "Turn around. I'd like to wash your back first."
Mario obliged and he turned around. Peach knelt down toward her rescuer and she began rubbing his back with the wet towel.
As Peach rubbed Mario's back, she began savoring the moment, enjoying the touch of a man's broad back. This made her think back to the times before Mario came into the picture.
Growing up in the Mushroom Kingdom, Peach never had any male friends. She most likely hung out with the Toads or with her best friend, Princess Daisy of Sarasaland.
