"Why is there a member of one of the demonic cults sitting in this room?"
The words had barely left William's mouth when the entire room reacted at once.
"WHAT!!???"Voices overlapped in disbelief as almost everyone spoke at the same time.
Before anyone could process the accusation, William raised his hand and pointed toward one end of the table.
His finger stopped on a human professor wearing sharp rectangular glasses.
The man had been sitting quietly since the beginning, avoiding attention and refusing to take part in questioning.
The moment William pointed at him...
BOOOOMM!!!
A sharp killing intent locked onto William instantly.
A high-level attack was launched without warning.
One of the professors seated among the panel stood up abruptly.
It was the same man William had pointed at.
Until now, he had remained silent and detached from the interrogation.
He was a formation master. He was also the professor who had previously breached the control room and placed the artifact on the domain orb along with his aide.
He had recently received a promotion. Many considered him a promising talent within the academy.
That reputation had now shattered in an instant as william accused him of something grave.
Before the attack could reach William, it dispersed mid-air. Andrea had intervened.
Her mana flared briefly and erased the incoming force before it could do any damage.
The exposed professor realized his mistake.
He turned around and attempted to flee.
Before he could take more than a single step, a katana wrapped in a purple sheath rose into the air and moved without hesitation.
The blade shot forward.
The man's legs were severed cleanly from his body before he could escape, blood splashed across the floor as he collapsed, screaming in pain.
William smiled faintly.
He did not need to prove anything anymore. The man's panic had already exposed the truth.
Marcus moved immediately.
His expression was filled with fury as he walked toward the fallen professor. At the same time, several professors rushed forward.
They suppressed the struggling man and restrained him using mana-locking handcuffs. The cultist continued to writhe on the ground, his body shaking violently.
Shock filled the room.
Then one of the professors inspecting the restrained man spoke in a tense voice.
"Sir... we can't sense a demonic core."
The words sent a wave of confusion through the room.
Every pair of eyes turned toward William.
William chuckled softly.
He stepped forward, moving toward the injured professor who was still struggling on the floor.
"It's time the academy opens its eyes," William said calmly as he approached.
He crouched slightly and gripped the cultist's head firmly. His fingers dug into the man's scalp as he lifted the half-severed body off the floor.
"And looks at the rot infecting its own backyard," he continued.
Stellar-energy-infused mana surged from William's palms.
The energy forced its way directly into the man's head.
The cultist screamed.
His body convulsed violently as the energy invaded his mind. He tried to resist, but the difference in power was too great. His limbs jerked uncontrollably before his face began to darken.
Veins bulged across his skin. Their color shifted unnaturally.
The man's skin hardened. Demonic claws burst out from his fingers. The outer layer of flesh started to tear and melt away as if it were rotting from the inside.
Under the pressure of the stellar energy, the transformation became unavoidable.
Human flesh peeled away. Muscles dissolved. Fat drained off like slurry.
"ARRRGHHHH!!!!!"
A demonic shrill cry echoed throughout the room.
What remained was no longer human.
A twisted, mutated demonic figure appeared, its body was barely holding shape.
William released his grip and threw the body onto the floor. He calmly took out a handkerchief and wiped his hands clean.
The half-dead demon convulsed once more. It vomited violently. Rotten human organs spilled onto the floor along with fragments of a broken mana core.
Some of the people in the room looked horrified. Others stared grimly at the scene unfolding in front of them.
Marcus stood frozen.
As the General of the Celestial Army, he had not realized that a demonic entity had been sitting beside him all this time. Frustration boiled inside him.
The katana rose once more.
The hybrid artificial demon, still twitching on the floor, was executed instantly.
Step. Step. Step.
William's footsteps echoed in the heavy silence as he walked forward.
A journal appeared in his hands.1[1]
He climbed onto the raised platform and approached the table. His eyes briefly met Andrea's as he handed the journal to her.
Then he turned his gaze toward Professor Morgan, who sat frozen with wide eyes.
"Remember when I said that stronger races have a fatal weakness that makes them poor leaders," William said.
He paused deliberately, allowing the words to sink in.

Then he turned and pointed toward the corpse on the floor.
"That man was acting as a formation master in the academy," William continued. "Every hidden trap, every secret formation, and every asset he knew about should now be considered compromised."
He turned back toward Andrea.
"I hope that helps," he said, referring to the cultist's journal he had discovered in the forest three years ago.
Without waiting for a response, William turned around.
His hand reached for the door handle.
With a soft click, the door opened.
William walked out.
Outside, he spotted Tamasya sitting calmly on the window sill. He gently lifted her and held her close before walking toward the student center.

After receiving his room keys, William made his way toward the boys' dormitory section.
The path was quiet.
As he walked, he suddenly collided with a large figure.
The person standing before him was tall and heavily built. Gaelion stood there with his towering, hulking physique. His presence felt imposing.
"Do you need something, Your Majesty, Titan Prince?" William asked with a small, confident smile.
Gaelion clenched his fist. His teeth shone as he grinned.
"You are a strong human," Gaelion said. "Yours truly wishes to have a fist fight with you."
William shrugged casually.
"Let's do it a week later," he replied. "I am being investigated by the academy right now. It wouldn't be good if you get caught up with me, bro."
Gaelion's eyes widened.
"Bro?" he repeated.
"Yours truly does not form brotherhood with someone he has not crossed fists with," Gaelion said, smiling shamelessly.
William laughed lightly.
"Hahaha. Then let's do it later," he said, patting the titan's shoulder before continuing toward his room.
Behind him, Gaelion let out a sigh.
Then he turned around and began looking for Ethan, so that he could spar with him.
