As soon as the duo exited the building they were immediately jumped on from above by a zombie who was holding a blood covered stone of his own blood.
But luckily Kensei was faster and quickly apprehended the zombie before it could land with its huge bloody rock.
As the duo observed the surroundings, it seemed as if they were being surrounded by a few dozen zombies and a specially odd looking zombie who had his forehead enlarged, hands stretched, Mouth barely hanging and eyes that looked like a drunkard's.
The zombie stretched its arms and Sammy opened his mouth simultaneously.
"It's a semi-lord."
As soon as he finished, the battle had began, Kensei quickly unsheathed his sword slicing and dicing while keeping an eye over Sammy, and as he gradually began dominating, the semi-lord started imagining countless strategies on how he could defeat Kensei but while he thought Kensei began absorbing the blood of zombies but, what Kensei hadn't known was that the blood of the zombies were filled with radioactive material.
As Kensei absorbed the blood of the zombies his own blood reacted to the radioactive material making Kensei slightly dizzy and blocking his vision just as the semi-lord planned.
The semi-lord then seemed to have given telepathic orders to the zombie to cover Kensei's vision and attack Sammy to get his dagger.
The zombies rushed him but it didn't seem as if the zombies were trying to kill Sammy but instead were trying to experiment afterall that weird dagger could kill the zombies with one stab so what would happen when it's stabbed against a human?
…ahem…ahem….Regeneration…
The Zombies rushed him but Sammy was wary and avoided them as best as he could by throwing the books at the zombies and running but instead of running away from the semi-lord he ran towards it.
But the semi-lord wasn't a fool and already had zombies that were hiding nearby, that were waiting to ambush Sammy in case he got close, which he did, but as soon as the zombies rushed him blood spikes appeared from the back.
Kensei had already adapted to the radioactive material although he still had a slight headache.
The blood spikes caused by Kensei allowed Sammy to deal a devastating throw which landed directly on the forehead of the semi-lord, hence causing its blood to erupt from his forehead.
As its blood splattered across, it slowly turned to stone hence indicating the end of the battle even though there were a couple of zombies left to kill and drain but Kensei swiftly handled them like how a robber who doesn't wear a mask acts, by shooting them all with his gun but in Kensei's case it was blood.
After the short battle Sammy started picking up the books which were now covered in zombie blood but that wasn't a problem since Kensei can simply absorb the blood although.
Which Kensei successfully did.
The duo then started walking around to find a forest for deforestation, so they can get enough wood to make a boat.
Kensei simply made blood like tentacles that acted as a blade and chopped down the tree then he picked up the wood he cut using even more tentacles.
'It seems he uses his blood based on books he reads... shit probably should have taken a book about tanks or nuclear bombs although he shouldn't be able to recreate them at this level'
Sammy thought to himself with a hint of regret but nonetheless continued to stay on guard while glancing a couple of times at the evening star.
After gathering enough materials to make the boat, the duo started following the said instructions on the book.
Following it they successfully made a raft.
"What it's supposed to be is a rowing boat not a raft, let's try again." Sammy said while closely observing the picture in the book.
After another try they successfully made a rowing boat... without the patels, they didn't have enough wood for the patels so they began chopping wood again, although it was just Kensei cutting down wood and Sammy reading the instruction manual and skipping a lot of things because Kensei's superhuman and machine like body fixes them all.
After making the rowing boat they stepped away and examined it with great admiration.
'All those times playing making paper boats... and then imagining about a huge paper boat that a i could ride on... wait its not made out of paper but at least it looks like a boat'
"Come on, we should celebrate." Sammy said happily as he was enjoying the fact that he made a boat.
"Okay." Kensei said with happiness, that doesn't show on his face but he was happy for sure.
To celebrate the duo... the duo had nothing to use to celebrate.
After realising this Sammy immediately pushed the boat in the water and got on.
"Come on, make sure to bring the sac." Sammy said in a very irritated voice as he was disappointed in himself for making an awkward situation in another world.
"Bu-." Kensei was interrupted.
"Just get on, we have nothing to use for celebrating." He said in a gloomy voice.
And so the duo started setting sail.
