"You already know that I know you're with other women."
Aybanu got out of the shower and sat down on the edge of the bed. Her back was turned to me, and she had started drying her hair with a towel. I knew she knew, but I didn't respond. I could guess why she brought up this subject.
She continued talking. "I don't care who you're with. But you know you shouldn't get any other woman pregnant besides me."
"I have no such intention anyway." I leaned back and picked up my phone from the nightstand next to the bed. But my attention was on her.
"Today, you had someone else on your mind. I can tell by just looking at your eyes. You're more emotional than you realize."
After drying her hair, she got out of bed and sat down at the dressing table opposite the bed. I could see her looking at me in the mirror. I laughed mockingly.
"Do you think you can understand me just by looking into my eyes? Don't make me laugh. We don't even know each other that much."
