Winston switched off the core system, excited that he had completed one challenge. He ran into his position. Winston hit his cheeks. He felt amazing about his skills. His ball control has improved significantly. Back then Winston would have lost the ball and also his chest has opened up a little he can now take in oxygen and transfer it amongst his body. Looking around, Winston saw that the head coach was giving him the thumbs up.

The Bush Hill Rangers under twenty-one felt surprised by Winston's quick game alteration. In the first half and few minutes of the second half the youths of Westminster were chasing the ball. The goal that was recently scored by Westminster under twenty-one took them by surprise, even the center back who was marking Oswin was taken back by Winston. They thought Winston was a defensive midfielder because of how they were dominating the first half. They started cruising and decided to put pressure on Oswin, recognizing his importance to Westminster's under-twenty-one team and the disruptive nature of his passes against the Bush Hill Rangers' under-twenty-one players. Unbeknownst to them, a distinct threat was being swapped in.

Fweeeet!

Thud!

Bush Hill Rangers youths started by passing the ball to the midfielder youth, who is playing as a defensive midfielder, allowing the four midfielders to disperse in the field. Now they positioned themselves into an arrow, the Bush Hill Ranger youth passed the ball to the midfield youth.

The right midfielder received the ball from the player on the right side. Westminster midfielder youth was coming to intercept, and Marseille turned to them. The Bush Hill Ranger did a small sprint and passed the ball into the midfielder, who looked up and tried to through ball to the youth striker.

Oswin tried to sneak behind the defender. The defender headed the ball. One of Westminster's midfielder youths trapped the ball. This youth passed it to another midfielder youth. Winston one-touched the ball to Oswin, and Oswin one-touched it back to the right-back youth who quickly passed it back to Oswin. Who then beat the Bush Hill Ranger youth midfielder with speed.

Oswin also Marseille turned on the upcoming defender, pacing himself to look who was free. Oswin looked up and saw both Winston and Maximilian were both heavily marked by the Bush Hill Rangers youth defenders before he could turn.

Thud

Fweeeet!

A defender came behind Oswin and tackled him down, because the Bush Hill Ranger was about to receive a yellow card. Winston helped Oswin up. "You okay, that was a nasty tackle," Oswin dusting himself off and clicking his boots on the green lash field. "Couldn't be better, they are now anxious. I guess you being subbed in got them shocked." Striding toward the where the referee placed the ball.

"Are you taking this one, or…" said Winston, who was jogging to his position. Winston knew Oswin was better at free kicks than him, and Winston was more focused on completing the daily challenge that was tasked to him.

Oswin prepared to take a free kick from 40 yards, Winston didn't really want to lose more rating. He just wanted to focus on the task at hand and receive reward points.

The game was now in its eightieth minute. Oswin fixed the ball, he stepped back, and he raised his hands, signaling that he will deliver to the far post.

Thump!

Youth players jumping trying to head the ball, Bush Hill Rangers defender headed the ball, and it flew toward Winston who volleyed it.

Thwack

Winston ran into the corner to celebrate, and when he looked at the crowd, he saw his father, who was jumping up and down in excitement. In that moment, Winston felt the tears running down his cheeks.

Seeing his father at the game made him emotional. He didn't think his father would be attending his games, and that is why he didn't tell him. He was playing today, There had always been a tension between Winston and his father ever since he chose football career over academics one.

And this decision strained their relationship, Winston's father, in his younger days he also hoped to pursue his football career until he impregnated Winston's mother. He tried to work hard, but the responsibility of taking care of Winston and his mother piled up. He quit and then spoke to a friend who secured him a position at the harbor.

"Hhehehe man that volley was a clean hit, even the keeper dived late. Congrats, now the coach will think twice about benching you," said Oswin, who was piggybacking on Winston back. When Winston glanced at the coaches, they were also celebrating, although the score line was even. The league table placed them third, with the team they are playing against holding the number one spot.

Fweeet! Fweeet! Fweeet!

The match concluded with Westminster players celebrating together. Winston attempted a high five with Maximilian, who reacted aggressively. Winston suspected that Maximilian's frustration stemmed from not scoring enough goals.

Maybe we all have challenges we want to complete.

"I know scoring is great, but I didn't think it would make you space." Before Winston could answer, a voice interrupted him.

"That was a great game. It makes me wonder why your coach held you back." When Winston and Oswin turned their heads. It was Hickman, he fist pumped them one by one. "If we played our trump card, we wouldn't have scored two goals," said Oswin, folding his hands behind his head with a smirk on his face.

"You were also a tough opponent to play against, you were marking Maximilian tightly."

"Oh, that's why he is moody. Then normal."

"I have been studying his game since I heard he got demoted to a junior team. And I couldn't study yours feather, since you played at the last minute. When you played with the seniors a few months ago." As the three of them strode toward the tunnel, Hickman congratulated them and went to his team's changing room.
