Chapter 14 - Ch 14The li clan's training

Li Jian stood at the foot of the mountain, the morning mist swirling around him like a veil of silk. He took a deep breath, feeling the cool air fill his lungs, and began to practice the River's Flow, his spear moving in smooth, fluid motions. The sound of the wind rustling through the trees and the distant call of a bird echoed through the air, creating a sense of serenity.

"Water flows, adapts, and overcomes," Li Jian said, his voice low and rhythmic, like the gentle lapping of waves against the shore. He executed a series of precise strikes, his spear tip weaving in and out of the air, creating a mesmerizing pattern. "Flexible as the river, yet unstoppable. It changes course, yet always reaches its destination."

As he moved, the mist swirled around him, like the currents of a flowing river, carrying the scent of damp earth and greenery. Li Jian's movements were effortless, his breathing synchronized with the rhythm of the technique, his heart beating in harmony with the universe. He was one with the river, one with the mist, and one with the mountain.

"Flow like the river, change like the tides," Li Jian said, his spear flashing in the morning light, creating a burst of silver sparks. He executed a series of swift, powerful strikes, his body moving in perfect harmony with the technique, his feet barely touching the ground. The sound of his spear cutting through the air was like music, a symphony of power and elegance.

Just as Li Jian was about to transition into the next movement, he sensed a presence behind him. He turned, his eyes narrowing, and saw Li Ming, Li Feng, and Li Xuan standing at the edge of the clearing, their eyes fixed intently on him. Li Jian's face broke into a smile, and he lowered his spear. "Ah, my sons. I see you're interested in learning the River's Flow."

Li Ming, Li Feng, and Li Xuan exchanged guilty glances, their faces flushing with embarrassment. "Mother told us you were going to teach us a new technique," Li Ming said, his voice sheepish, his eyes darting to his brothers. "We wanted to watch." Li Jian chuckled, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Well, I'm glad you're interested. Come, join me. Let's practice the River's Flow together."

The three brothers nodded, their faces filled with excitement, and they began to practice alongside their father. Li Jian watched them, his eyes filled with pride and satisfaction. They were his sons, and they were learning the art of the River's Flow. He knew that they would carry on the tradition.

As they practiced, Li Jian corrected their movements, his voice gentle but firm. "Remember, flow like the river, change like the tides. Don't force it, let it happen." The brothers nodded, their faces filled with concentration, and continued to practice. The sun rose higher in the sky, casting a warm glow over the clearing, and the air filled with the sound of their breathing and the rustling of leaves.

Li Jian smiled, feeling a sense of contentment wash over him. This was what he had been waiting for, this moment of perfection. He knew that the River's Flow was a powerful technique, and that it would serve his sons well in their journey as martial artists.

As the morning wore on, Li Jian called a halt to the practice, his voice filled with exhaustion but also satisfaction. The brothers nodded, their faces flushed with exertion, and gathered around their father. "You're doing great," Li Jian said, his voice filled with pride. "Remember, the River's Flow is not just a technique, it's a way of life. Always flow, always change, and always overcome."

The brothers nodded, their faces filled with determination, and Li Jian knew that they would carry on the tradition. He smiled, feeling a sense of pride and satisfaction, and put his arm around Li Ming's shoulders. "Let's go, my sons. Your mother will be waiting for us."

As they walked back to their home, the sun shone down on them, casting a warm glow over the clearing. Li Jian knew that the Li clan was in good hands, and that the future was bright.

The sun rose over the Li clan village, casting a warm glow over the training grounds. The members of the hunting party were gathering, their faces filled with anticipation and a hint of nervousness. Li Jian stood at the front, his spear in hand, his eyes surveying the crowd.

"Today, we continue our training in Long Ya Qiang," Li Jian announced, his voice clear and authoritative. "I have taught you the basics of the technique, and I expect you all to work hard and learn quickly."

The members of the hunting party nodded, their faces filled with determination. Li Jian's eyes swept over the crowd, his gaze lingering on Li Ming, Li Feng, and Li Xuan, Li weizhi and three other fighters who stood at the front, their eyes fixed intently on him.

"Long Ya Qiang is a powerful technique," Li Jian began, his voice rising and falling like the wind. "It requires precision, control, and strength. I will teach you the basics, but you must practice and perfect it on your own."

With a swift motion, Li Jian executed the movement, his spear flashing through the air. The members of the hunting party watched, mesmerized, as Li Jian demonstrated the technique again and again, his movements fluid and precise.

As the morning wore on, Li Jian taught the hunting party the basics of Long Ya Qiang, his voice clear and patient. The members of the party practiced, their movements awkward at first, but gradually improving as the hours passed.

Li Jian walked among them, correcting their stances and movements, his eyes filled with encouragement and criticism. "Good, good," he said, his voice low and soothing.

The sun rose higher in the sky, casting a warm glow over the training grounds. The sound of clashing steel and the grunts of exertion filled the air, mingling with the scent of sweat and earth.

As the morning drew to a close, Li Jian called a halt to the training, his voice filled with satisfaction. "You have done well, my friends," he said, his eyes sweeping over the crowd. "Remember to practice what you have learned today, and we will continue tomorrow at sunrise."

The members of the hunting party nodded, their faces flushed with exertion, but their eyes filled with determination. They knew that they had a long way to go, but they were ready to work hard .
