Chapter 87 - | Ever-Present Help

And so after breakfast, we all arranged the plates used and some of the boys were about to wash it but Mark stopped them. He said that the service crew will take care of it. I'm sure it felt uncomfortable to the boys as much as it is with me and Tabitha because that's not how we were taught and grew up but we just let it be.

"Why do you think Yeshua wants to make a stop through the forest between the city and the port?" Tabitha asked as we were packing our things. "I don't know, Tabitha. I'm not the one who can hear other's thoughts." I replied to Tabitha then I stopped and stared at Mark's coat on my bed. "I heard him say that you 'keep it' back in the parking lot," Tabitha whispered, making me jump. She laughed. Ha-ha. Very funny.

Tabitha then went back to packing her things while I was left here thinking if I should be packing Mark's coat too or not. I'm not sure if I was too caught up in my head whether or not to pack the coat to the point when I didn't hear a knock on the door. "Hi girls." Yeshua greeted, making me look at the door and saw Tabitha opening the door for Him.

"Hi, Teacher!" Tabitha greeted Yeshua back with excitement. "Hi, Teacher." I also greeted Yeshua as I felt relieved seeing Him. "Is there anything we can do for You?" Tabitha asked as she kept holding the door. "Uhm…" Yeshua replied. Tabitha was confused while I chuckled. "Please come in, Yeshua." I invited Him in with a smile. "Thank you." Yeshua thanked us and entered our room.

Tabitha then slowly closes the door while staring at Yeshua. "No, Tabitha. I'm not a vampire." Yeshua said as He faced her. Tabitha was taken aback and slowly began shaking her head. "I-I-uh I-I," Tabitha stuttered. Yeshua chuckled. "It's okay, Tabitha." Yeshua replied to her. Tabitha just gulped, "Sorry, Teacher," and apologized.

"What do You need, Teacher?" I asked. Yeshua then faced me. "Go on and pack Mark's coat. Somebody might need it." Yeshua answered without further ado. And now I am taken aback. Yeshua chuckled. "I heard what you were thinking." Yeshua continued while smiling. "Ah." The only word I uttered. "That's what I've been telling her, Teacher." Tabitha said as she walked towards us. "But not for the benefit of others." Yeshua replied as He looked at her. Tabitha stopped and chuckled nervously.

Yeshua sighed with a faint smile. "Continue on packing your things. We'll be out in 5 minutes." Yeshua said to us with a smile. I smiled back and nodded in response. "Yes, Teacher." Tabitha replied with a smile as well. Yeshua then nodded to the both of us and walked Himself out of our room after opening the door and closed the door.

"Well, there's your answer regarding Mark's coat." Tabitha said as she then looked at me. I then looked at her then took Mark's coat. "He said 'somebody might need it'... but who?" I asked after repeating what Yeshua said. Then Tabitha and I looked at each other like we have the same thoughts at the same time answering my question.
