Leah stepped out of the bathroom with a faint veil of steam still clinging to her body. Emma was already waiting at the door, her posture one of perfect, respectful poise.
"I have prepared everything you require, Miss Leah," Emma said softly. She gestured toward a young maid holding a luxurious satin dress. Beside her stood a flamboyant man with slender fingers clutching a professional makeup kit.
Leah furrowed her brow, staring at the gown shimmering under the room's lights. "Why is the clothing so extravagant, Emma?" she whispered, her voice laced with anxiety.
"Master Fabio prepared it specifically for you," Emma replied with a calm, friendly smile. "He wishes to take you to meet someone this morning."
"Meet who?" Leah pressed. Curiosity began to mingle with a dark sense of foreboding in her mind.
Emma shook her head gently. "I do not know, Miss. The Master only gave instructions to ensure you look as beautiful as possible, with the finest gown and makeup."
