Chapter 18 - Whirlpool Empire cap 18

Unlike a minor village, where an elite Jounin or even a simple Jounin was the village leader, the Kage of one of the 5 great villages were shinobi who were far beyond a simple rank like Jounin.

If a Jonin could be classified as a B-level threat and an elite Jonin as an A-level threat, then a Kage from the great villages needs to be an S-level threat or even higher to take the hat.

Even in the S rank, there were monsters that stood out from the rest.

The fall of an S-rank shinobi was incredible news that would travel throughout the shinobi continent, not to mention one of the Kages of the 5 great villages.

If one of the 5 great villages loses its Kage, it will have lost a good part of its fighting power as well as a deterrent against other villages.

If all the Kages who participated in the battle against Gin Uzumaki lost their lives, it will be excellent news for the Hidden Leaf Village.

"Besides the Village Hidden in the Mist, from which we can't receive information quickly and clearly due to the distance, the other three villages have made efforts to search for their respective kages, and thanks to that we were able to find this out."

Hiruzen's words were like a cold drink in the middle of summer.

Without these powerful kages leading their villages, the Leaf will need fewer human and material resources to protect its borders.

"After suffering these losses, it is likely that the four great villages will abandon their attack on Tierra del Fuego, but it is also likely that they will continue to recover their losses suffered in the attack on the Uzumaki clan."

"For now, the planned increase in resources at the borders will be cancelled until further notice."

After Hiruzen's report, the meeting continued for only a little while longer before ending, and everyone returned to their homes while reflecting on what had been discussed.

Although they wanted to ask Mito Uzumaki more questions about the Uzumaki patriarch, the First Hokage's wife shook her head, saying that she didn't know much about the Uzumaki patriarch since they rarely interacted.

Although they knew almost nothing about this powerful individual, they were certain that in the coming years the Uzumaki clan would be famous and strong under Gin Uzumaki, just as the Leaf Village was back when it was founded by Hashirama Senju.

Two days passed and news of the battle on the shores of the whirlpool reached every corner of the elemental nations continent.

Civilians or shinobi, everyone imagined that shocking battle and shuddered every time they thought about it, even days later.

Aside from ordinary civilians or shinobi who were not so affected, the great merchants, village leaders, nobles, and Daimyos knew that the coming years belonged to the Uzumaki clan and it would not end until Gin Uzumaki disappeared.

But unlike Hashirama Senju, this time Gin Uzumaki doesn't have a rival to stop him or fight to the death.

Although the Leaf Village was calmer now that they had fewer enemies to face, they sighed in frustration when they heard the news of the appearance of the Third Raikage and the Third Kazekage.

But the second Tsuchikage was missing.

Thinking that the Second Tsuchikage was dead, everyone absorbed this shocking news when suddenly another event caused an earthquake across the continent.

The land had fallen from the water.

After Gin massacred the allied army of the 4 great villages, he immediately mobilized the army to collect the remains.

Although almost everything was destroyed, there were still a few pieces of debris and body parts in the sea.

Although they would eventually be swept away by the whirlpools around the island, it would take many years for the shores to be completely clean.

If it were almost 100 years ago, this wouldn't matter much.

But now things are different and the garbage in the sea must be cleaned up.

This is because the country's fishing industry had grown significantly to help meet the food needs of the island's large population.

That's why the army had to clear the coasts so they wouldn't obstruct the ships, and they finished their task in less than 2 hours.

Ships soon began to appear on the seas and continued the work they had paused due to the invasion.

But those were not the only ships that sailed the sea.

Two dozen large ships, led by five even larger ships, traveled in a southeasterly direction from Whirlpool Island.

They traveled along the designated paths to safely pass the terrifying whirlpools in the middle of the sea and continued on their journey.

Your address?

The land of water

Unlike a normal ship of this era, all these ships had powerful engines driving large propellers, so it only took them 30 minutes to glimpse the shores of the land of water.

Such was their speed that they overtook all the shinobi from the mist who were returning to report the failure of the invasion, and of course they captured them.

And thanks to powerful seals that visually concealed these ships and muffled the noise, no one on the shores realized they were being invaded until it was too late.

Hundreds upon hundreds, until they numbered in the thousands, of shinobi disembarked from the ships in an orderly fashion and headed towards the coastal city in front of them.

The few shinobi and samurai who were in the city watched in horror as such a large number of shinobi approached from a distance, planning to invade the city, and there was nothing they could have done to stop them.

They could only escape and pass on the information, but unfortunately for them, dozens of shinobi from the Uzumaki clan had arrived in the city beforehand, and a barrier appeared when they tried to escape.

After taking the city, they quickly placed restrictions on the shinobi, samurai, and city leaders to keep them under control before moving on to their next destination.

City by city, each one was taken and in a short time all the coastal cities were in the hands of the Uzumaki army.

They also took the supplies and ships that were intended to transport the people who took control of Whirlpool Island after the fall of the Uzumaki clan.

Of course, while the army did an excellent job, it was natural for news to travel and soon the Daimyo of the country and the village of the mist were on a war footing.

No messengers were sent to negotiate and soon the first battle to expel the invaders began.

Unilateral

That was the only way to see what happened in the battle.

No matter how the samurai fought under the orders of the Water Daimyo and the shinobi of the Village Hidden in the Mist, they were no match for the Uzumaki army.

Their powerful chakra reserves allowed the Uzumaki army to completely suppress the Mist shinobi, and the use of the 8 Inner Gates meant their opponents didn't even stand a chance in close combat.

After that battle, they did not head towards the country's capital or the village of the mist, but continued their conquest of the various cities on the islands that made up the land of water and brought them under their control.

In this way, they avoided the coming chaos and the civilians continued their lives while the land of the water changed ownership.

What about the Daimyo and the various shinobi clan leaders of the Hidden Mist Village?

They were trapped in the barriers that suddenly appeared surrounding the water capital and the fog village.

They could only grind their teeth as they helplessly watched all the cities in the country fall to their enemies.

Seeing that the invading army had the Uzumaki clan's emblem, they guessed that the coalition of the 4 villages had failed.

But they weren't going to give up so easily.

They organized another army in their respective cities, preparing to defend to their last breath, but it was all for nothing when suddenly everyone noticed something in the sky.

He was a figure.

In the sky of the water capital and the fog village, a man appeared at the same time, and, unbeknownst to them at that moment, they had the same appearance.

It was Gin Uzumaki and a shadow clone

Without giving them any more time to think, even though they couldn't do anything to stop it, Gin and his shadow clone wasted no more time before joining hands with a loud clap.

And in less than 1 second, thousands of golden lines shot out from Gin's back and fell downwards.
