Chapter 23 - Whirlpool Empire cap 23

They weren't the only ones who were confused.

The entire continent of elemental nations was surprised by the strength shown by the Uzumaki clan and the speed with which they defeated the land of water.

If at first they thought that Gin Uzumaki was the only one to be reckoned with in the redhead clan, now they had to accept that the Uzumaki clan was a powerful enemy.

Much more than the Senju and the Uchiha.

After all, the Senju or Uchiha clan only had a maximum population of just over 1000 people, while the Uzumaki clan openly displayed 20,000 shinobi when they conquered the land of water.

Logically, the population of the Uzumaki clan would be larger due to the population they kept hidden in their country.

"Not only are they powerful, but they are also numerous," Orochimaru mentioned the population of the Uzumaki clan, and the other two agreed.

Since the strength of the Uzumaki clan became known, everyone began to pay attention to them and found out what they could about them.

The first thing mentioned about the Uzumaki was their specialty in Fuinjutsu, information that almost everyone knew, so they focused on the rest.

Although the Uzumaki were a clan with great vitality and a large amount of chakra, an important point emphasized in the information that the villages and countries had was that the Uzumaki clan had a low birth rate.

According to previous information, the country of the whirlpool had a small population of 10,000 inhabitants, of which 3,000 were shinobi.

While it was a large population for a Clan, it was still not comparable to a small country.

Other countries or villages previously thought that the Uzumaki clan was lucky to be hiding on their island.

They thought the Uzumaki clan was weak and had to hide on their island to avoid being attacked.

If any shinobi clan on the continent held that same position, its population would be much larger.

But it seems they were wrong.

"Now I understand why they didn't join the village when the Hidden Leaf Village was founded," Jiraiya said.

Since the Uzumaki were allies of the Senju clan, many in the village regretted that they did not join when the village was founded.

"It would be a disaster with the number of people the Uzumaki clan has," Jiraiya said, and the two agreed with him.

With the charity of people that the Uzumaki clan was thought to have, about 100,000 people was an estimate by everyone, the Hidden Leaf would be called Uzumaki Village.

"It's funny that the village abandoned the Uzumaki clan, and now it turns out that the Leaf Village needs them," Tsunade suddenly said while mocking.

While Jiraiya was a little uncomfortable with what Tsunade said, he couldn't say anything to contradict it.

Orochimaru also thought the same as Tsunade.

While there is no war, that is only for the moment.

The Leaf Village is in a bad situation surrounded by other countries.

After walking for an hour while the three of them talked, they separated and headed towards their homes.

In a mountainous area, where several corpses of gigantic creatures stand out, there was a hidden ruin that now served as the hideout for Uchiha Madara.

After faking his death following the battle with Hashirama Senju, Madara took refuge here while cultivating Hashirama's cellular material with the piece of flesh he managed to bite off.

After absorbing Hashirama's cells into his body, several years passed before Madara managed to awaken the legendary Rinnegan, the eyes possessed by the sage of the 6 paths.

While he waited, Madara devised a plan to fulfill his dreams of world peace by trapping everyone in an illusion, an illusion where war would not exist.

But because he was no longer at his best, he knew he couldn't face all the hidden villages on his own to catch the tailed beasts.

Furthermore, Mito Uzumaki was still alive, and if she knew he was trying to capture the tailed beasts, Madara knew that the woman would be able to use a terrifying Fuinjutsu to stop his plans.

Whether by catching him off guard or sealing the tailed beasts away forever somewhere he would never find them.

However, Madara knew he couldn't achieve his plans on his own, so he came up with the idea of using some pawns to further his plans.

And most importantly, use the Rinnegan to revive him in the future.

"Mr. Madara, I have fulfilled the task you entrusted to me."

A completely white figure emerged from the ground near Madara, who was sitting asleep, and spoke to wake him up.

Madara opened his eyes, and saw one of the white Zetsus that he created with Hashirama's cells and Yin and Yang release that he learned when he awakened the Rinnegan.

Next to the White Zetsu, there was an unconscious person, whom the White Zetsu had brought on Madara's orders.

"Bring him here," said Madara, and the white Zetsu brought the unconscious man in front of Madara.

Madara stood up and opened the unconscious man's eyelids, and immediately his eyes changed to the Sharingan.

Sharingan illusion.

With his Genjutsu skills, Madara could use his Sharingan to easily hypnotize someone, but in this case he was using his Sharingan to review the unconscious man's memories.

The man was a shinobi from the Cloud Village, one of the few who managed to escape the battle on the shores of the whirlpool.

Madara urgently wanted to know what happened in that battle and whether someone with a power level equal to his or Hashirama's had truly appeared.

After a few minutes, he left the cloud shinobi's mind and leaned back against his seat.

He didn't like what he saw.

The strength displayed by Gin Uzumaki was very similar to that of Hashirama and to his own at his peak.

Along with what he saw through the white zetsus who watched from afar the battle between the shinobi of the mist against the uzumaki, Madara realized that the uzumaki would be an obstacle in his plans.

When he learned from the White Zetsu about the alliance between the 4 great villages to eradicate the Uzumaki clan, Madara watched it all with amusement from the sidelines.

'This is the peace you achieved, Hashirama,' Madara thought as he watched the ally of the Senju and Mito clan soon be eliminated.

Since the Uzumaki's fuinjutsu would be a nuisance in his plan to capture the tailed beasts, Madara even ordered the white zetsu to disguise themselves and increase tension between the great villages to accelerate his plans to eliminate the red-haired clan.

Madara was sleeping peacefully when suddenly a white zetsu appeared with surprising news about the defeat of the alliance of the 4 great villages.

Since that day, Madara has not slept as often as he used to, using the infiltration abilities of the White Zetsu to gather information and understand what happened in that battle.

Since the white zetsus could die and he didn't want to lose them, he hadn't previously sent them as infiltrators when the alliance of the 4 great villages surrounded the Uzumaki clan.

And now that they wanted vital information, the White Zetsu took a while because the few shinobi who escaped from that battle were few and the villages kept them safe while they extracted all the information they could about Gin Uzumaki's abilities.

Madara saw the entire battle through the eyes of the cloud shinobi and felt his fear when Gin Uzumaki displayed his strength.

Madara was not affected by that fear.

He was only annoyed because Gin Uzumaki could form a great lightning construct, similar to Hashirama with his wood release and far superior to Madara with his Susanoo.

Madara was unable to obtain any more information because the cloud shinobi fled with all his might when he realized he was facing a monster.

It was thanks to his lightning release abilities that he was able to increase his speed and escape the death zone.

Madara had to accept that it was a great idea to use the natural lightning of a storm cloud for such a terrifying pair of Jutsus.

The thousand-meter dragon was a jutsu with great destructive capacity, and that rain of lightning was very useful on a battlefield to eliminate cannon fodder.

Shaking his head, Madara reminded himself that he had to devise a plan to get rid of the Uzumaki clan.

The strength displayed by the redhead clan was enough to capture some countries and some tailed beasts if they wanted.

At that point, it will be more difficult to form the ten-tailed monster and launch their Eye of the Moon plan.
