Gu Chenyu rushed towards Lin Meiyin holding her.
"Meiyin don't close your eyes" he said with red eyes.
"Ch-Chenyu I feel sleepy" she whispered to him closing her eyes.
"I called an ambulance" said Fu Shiyi looking confused.
"Who was the shooter?" Fu Shiyi asked him.
Gu Chenyu looked at him.
"I gave her a chance" Gu Chenyu replied with a cold look.
"She's lost a lot of blood, we can't wait any longer" he said taking Lin Meiyin away in his arms, completely ignoring Fu Shiyi who was left there looking at Ji Rin 's dead body there was a bloody mess everywhere.
Gu Chenyu reached outside and the place was filled with people and reporters.
An ambulance arrived immediately and Lin Meiyin was placed on a stretcher.
Gu Chenyu followed her all the way to the hospital.
Back in the ambulance he held her hand tightly.
"Don't even think about leaving me, okay" he said.
"I swear if you leave again just like before I don't know what I'll do" he begged with red eyes.
They arrived at the hospital soon and she was taken into the emergency unit.
Gu Chenyu still didn't let go and until the nurses held him back.
Qin Cheng rushed towards the stretcher.
"What happened to her!?"he yelled at Gu Chenyu.
"You better save her or I'll burn down this hospital!!"Gu Chenyu gritted.
Qin Cheng gulped and took her into emergency unit.
"Sir you have to wait here"said a female nurse.
Gu Chenyu say by the waiting room.
For the first time he felt nervous.
His hands were shaking, he hadn't felt like this since, his Mom left.
After a while Pei Shao and Wei Zhan bursted into the hospital and they say Gu Chenyu sitting down, loosing his mind.
"Big brother!! What's going on?what's wrong with little wife ?we heard what happened is she okay?"They bombarded Gu Chenyu with questions.
"She was attacked " Gu Chenyu replied coldly.
"Attacked?"
"Who would do that, is that bastard Gu Zihan?" Pei Shao gritted.
"How dare he" Wei Zhang cursed.
"Can you all just shut up" Gu Chenyu gritted.
The two musketeers sealed their lips immediately and the air temperature dropped to zero degrees.
"Um guys where is Rouchu?" Wei Zhang whispered.
"She's home"Pei Shao whispered back.
After a while Fu Shiyi walked in and Gu Chenyu's face flashed with emotions.
"She's still in surgery" he asked.
Gu Chenyu stood up with red eyes and he approached Fu Shiyi.
"You still have the nerve to show up" he said.
His voice filled with killing intent.
The other two musketeers immediately understood who the cause of the problem was.
"Meiyin is my friend she would want me near her with or without your permission.
"How dare you" Gu Chenyu gritted and his hands reached for his neck.
"How about you die with your lunatic fiancee " he added.
"You'll just cause more problems when Lin Meiyin wakes up and finds out what you to me, she's gonna get angry"Fu Shiyi stated.
Gu Chenyu felt his blood boiling.
He was about to hit Fu Shiyi when he suddenly heard a voice.
"Daddy Chen where's Mommy?"
Gu Chenyu hand froze mid air and he turned around saw Rui Rui standing in front of him.
He suddenly cooled down and let go of Fu Shiyi 's neck.
His eyes was filled with sadness and tenderness.
He walked towards the little one and he half knew before her.
"You're mother's in there she's busy with the doctor" he replied with red eyes.
"Can I go see her, what happened to my Mommy" Rui Rui asked innocently.
Gu Chenyu smiles and ruffles her hair.
"Mommy is fine" he answered.
"Daddy Chen I'm six years old not three, you're covered in blood and your eyes are red like when you were slicing some onions in the kitchen, don't lie to me, where is Mommy?" Rui Rui continued.
"Okay fine, Mommy is hurt, so you can't see her now, the doctor is trying to fix her up" he replied softly.
"Is she going to leave us, there's a lot of blood on your shirt" she cried out loud.
