Lin Meiyin grabbed a piece of glass and was about to jab it in Ji Rin's leg.
But Ji Rin was too fast and she stepped on Lin Meiyin's hand with her other foot.
She pulled Lin Meiyin's hair pulled her up a bit causing Lin Meiyin to cry out weakly in pain.
"You're going to pay for this, Gu Chenyu and Fu Shiyi won't let you go" Lin Meiyin said to her.
But instead of getting scared.
Ji Rin laughed like a maniac.
"And we have only one way of getting rid of this problems, if I'm going down I'm dragging you too, we'll go together, and who will Gu Chenyu try to kill anyways will he burn my body, I might already be dead too" she said to Lin Meiyin.

"The last thing he'll remember is seeing your body covered in blood and a broken neck"said Ji Rin.
Soon there was sound of banging at the door.
"Lin Meiyin"came Gu Chenyu's voice.

Her head bleeding profusely her white dress was soaked with blood and she was loosing consciousness.

Gu Chenyu on the other side was trying to open the door from outside but the wooden door didn't budge.
He pushed the door hard and felt a sharp pain on his hand and winced.
The big door still didn't move.
"Master Lu you're hurting yourself" Jiang Mingxuan said.
"I'll go get a spare key" he said running off.
Gu Chenyu still kept hitting the door.
He looked at the corner and saw an axe.
Without hesitation he grabbed the axe and he hit the door with all his might.
"There's no saving the day this time" Ji Rin's voice was heard from the other side as Gu Chenyu axed the door.

Soon the door opened and he rushed in with the axe.
Right there at the window was Ji Rin and Lin Meiyin.
Gu Chenyu eyes were filled with horror looking at Lin Meiyin with a bleeding head.
Blood seeping down her head and soaking her white dress.
His eyes were filled with fear.
"Don't come any closer or I'll jump" Ji Rin said.
Gu Chenyu stopped immediately seeing she was really going to jump.
Ji Rin starts laughing.
"I can't believe I made the one and only Gu Chenyu stop his tracks" she crackled holding a gun towards Lin Meiyin's throat.
"What do you want?" Gu Chenyu asked her.
"Are you bargaining with me" she asked in wonder.
"You have nothing to offer, Gu Chenyu I've made up my mind I'm taking her with me" Ji Rin continued.
"Meiyin" came another voice as Fu Shiyi rushed into the room and saw Gu Chenyu holding an axe then Ji Rin holding Lin Meiyin attempting suicide.
"Ah you're also here"said Ji Rin.
"Shiyi you forced me into this" she said.
"Ji Rin you need help" Fu Shiyi said.
"No I don't, all I wanted was for you to love me but instead you love her, my reputation is ruined what should I do, I'm going down with her" Ji Rin continued.
"Okay fine you got me, I'll do whatever you want but just let Lin Meiyin go" Fu Shiyi said to her.
Ji Rin's eyes flashed with emotions.
"Really" she said.
Fu Shiyi nodded.
"No you're lying" she said to him drawing closer to the window.
"I swear okay I love you, is that only what you want to hear I'll protect you" said Fu Shiyi.
Ji Rin nods and looks at him.
"But I attempted murder they'll turn me in"she said to them.
Gu Chenyu was going crazy.
"No you won't, I won't let them take you" he said to her.
"Really you'll protect me" she smiled.
"Yes" Fu Shiyi nodded.
"It's too late to bargain now, you'll never love me the one you love is Lin Meiyin and you'll turn me in" she said, moving closer, about to jump.
Gu Chenyu felt his heart leaving his mouth.
"Meiyin" he screamed.

There was a gunshot and Ji Rin smiled but then she paused and she dropped Lin Meiyin who was already fainting.
Blood splattered out of Ji Rin's neck and fell to the floor.
