I gripped the wooden sword tightly, feeling its weight and balance. Arin's eyes were on me, watching me like a hawk. I could see the intensity in his gaze, and I knew I had to give it my all. The sun was high overhead, beating down on us, and the forest was quiet, except for the occasional chirping of a bird.
"Alright, Ryker" Arin said, his voice firm. "Show me what you've learned"
I nodded, taking a deep breath. I swung the sword, trying to channel my energy into the attack. The sword moved sluggishly, but I could feel the power building up. I remembered what Arin taught me - to focus my energy, to make it flow through my body and into the sword. I tried to visualize the energy flowing, tried to feel it coursing through my veins.
Arin dodged the attack easily, his staff flashing in the light. "As expected from an F-rank that attack was very slow I could dodge that with my eyes closed" he said, then grinned
I nodded, feeling a bit frustrated. I knew I had a lot to learn, but it was hard to get the hang of it. Arin showed me some more techniques, his movements swift and precise. I watched intently, trying to memorize every detail. His staff seemed to blur in his hands, and I knew I had to focus if I wanted to keep up.
"Now, try again"he said, stepping back.
I nodded, taking a deep breath. "Shadow technique, 1st form!, Instant Blade!" I swung the sword, trying to put everything I had learned into the attack. The sword moved faster this time, Arin dodged the attack, but I could see a glimpse of surprise in his eyes.
"Good"he said, a smile spreading across his face. "But I gotta say that's some rapid fast learning even thought you haven't unlocked 2nd firm or third or fourth.."
I grinned, feeling a sense of pride. I was starting to get the hang of this. We trained for hours, Arin pushing me to my limits. I was sweating and panting, but I didn't want to stop. The Scrabbler was watching us from the sidelines, its big round eyes fixed on me.
As we trained, Arin told me more about the world of Elysium. He told me about the different kingdoms, about the wars that had ravaged the land, and about the Dark Lord's rise to power. I listened intently, trying to absorb every detail.
"The Dark Lord is a powerful enemy"Arin said, his eyes serious. "He may go slow with you at first but if he sees you have power he will rapidly build up until his power is matched with yours that's when he will stop building up his energy" Arin said, "Hwo do you know all this stuff?" I asked, "my elder brother, Elvis Fought him and died", "I'm sor-, he cut me off before I even finished, "no need to be sorry he was only foolish enough to to believe he will defeat the Dark Lord"
He quickly went inside brought out two sisndwiches that looked absolutely scrumptious because I've been training for three hours and I'm starving.
We took a break, eating some food and drinking water. The Scrabbler came over, nuzzling my hand. I laughed and rubbed his head with my palm.
The Scrabbler chirped, and I laughed again
We sat in silence for a while, enjoying the peace. The sun was starting to set, casting a warm orange glow over the forest.
Then I got a system notification

I drank my water and saw the system message then spat it out of shock. "what's wrong kiddo?" Arin and rushed over. "Nothing I'm just surprised" I said feeling enthusiastic.
"At what?" He asked. "Can't you see this blue thingy like screen in front of me" I asked. "What? What thing? Have you ran mad? Maybe it's the potion I gave you yesterday I don't trust that thing"
'What am I the only one who can see this thing?', "Nevermind." I said to Arin
"Then let's settle in for the Night then" Arin said then paused before he reached the door.
"What?" I asked
"One more thing, Do 200 push-ups and sit ups with carry the generator 50 times every set of rounds and you're doing all this four times" He said then walked away like nothing happen.
'His he crazy?!!!' 'Tho I'm in kind of a bad shape' I said and looked at my pot belly, 'This training is just what I need and also I don't think I have a choice'
I did all this in about 3 or more hour at this time it was about 11:00PM
I did some self-training and practiced for 2 more hours and it was about 1:00AM
Arin woke up when he heard my sword moving and slashing he thought monsters where attacking, He sprang up and brought out his orb ready to smash anything but he only saw me practicing with the dummy's he made yesterday.
He hissed as if annoyed then closed the door and went back to sleep
All through the night I practiced u didn't care if I was sleepy or tired I just want to become stronger to defeat that Fuckass dark lord.
It was around 4:00AM and I decided to stroll to the market because most women of elysium were open at this time
Then I monster that was about 9 feet tall appeared in my path roared as of telling me 'I'm gonna rip every bone in your body.'
I grinned. 'Time to test out my new power' I clenched my sword and a system message popped up

My system usually does that when monsters are far ahead of me in strength
My smile faltered as I realized this monsters is actually gonna kill me if I don't run right now.
I tried to run both it disappeared and appeared in front of me in the left side of the road.
'Fuck. What do I do?' I said then clenched my sword even tighter.
"What's a swordsman supposed to do when he meets an opponent!" I said encouraging myself
The monster roared as if knowing I was gonna fight him.
"BRING IT ON YOU SHITHOLE I'LL RIP YOU TO SHREDS!"
