Yakichi nodded. "Yeah."
Silence.
Yakichi suddenly turned around.
His face went pale.
He slowly stepped back.
Yu frowned. "Why are you scared?"
Yakichi whispered—
"Because… this place…"
He swallowed.
"This is where the Great Ape Hikoru lives."
Before Yu could react—
A message appeared in front of his eyes.

Yu's eye twitched.
"What the hell? Is this system making fun of me?"
Yakichi sighed.
"My rank is H."
Yu looked at him.
"But you're weak."
Yakichi shook his head.
"It's not about strength. It's about how long you survive… how many you kill… how much your clan trusts you."
Yu went quiet.
"So… how do I make my own clan?"
Yakichi froze.
"You can't."
"Why?"
"Because creating your own clan means… declaring war against death itself."
Yu smiled slightly.
"I don't care. I'm already dead."
Yakichi stared at him.
"What are you?"
Yu's eyes sharpened.
"I'm the one who will become the strongest in this world."
A strange chill ran through Yakichi's spine.
"First step," Yakichi said slowly,
"You must kill the Great Ape Hikoru."
Yu's smile widened.
"Perfect."
Yakichi continued—
"Even the #1 clan leader couldn't defeat him."
Yu laughed softly.
"That makes it interesting."
They walked forward.
"Where exactly are we?" Yu asked.
Yakichi looked at the dark ocean surrounding them.
"This is the Island of Nowhere.
Middle of the Black Water Ocean."
"What's Black Water?"
"Some say… it's made from the souls of legends who died 500 years ago."
Yu blinked.
"500 years ago? What year is this?"
"1200."
Yu froze.
"…Not 2018?"
Yakichi frowned. "What's 2018?"
Yu's breathing became unstable.
"So I really am in the world of those who died saving everything…"
Yakichi snapped his fingers in front of Yu's face.
"Focus. If we don't kill Hikoru, we can't leave."
Another message appeared—
WARNING
Entering Island of Nowhere below Rank F
Monsters' power increases drastically.
Tip: Do not enter.
Yu smirked.
"Now the system wants to teach me?"
He stepped forward.
"Let's go."
Yakichi followed, shaking.
The forest grew darker.
Suddenly—
WHOOSH.
An arrow pierced Yu's injured arm.
He screamed.
Blood dripped down his fingers.
"Don't scream!" Yakichi whispered harshly.
Then—
BOOM.
The ground trembled.
Trees cracked.
Birds flew away in panic.
A massive shadow rose from the earth itself.
Muscles like stone.
Fur black as night.
Eyes glowing red.
Yakichi trembled.
"Oh no…"
Yu clenched his teeth through the pain.
"What now?"
Yakichi whispered—
"It's him."
The Great Ape Hikoru roared.
The island shook.
Yu stared at the monster…
And smiled.
"Good."

EPISODE 2 – DON'T TOUCH HIM
(Yaguka Arc – Part 3)
Yu screamed as the arrow tore through his already injured arm.
"AHHH—!"
Blood streamed down his fingers, warm and heavy.
"Damn it… damn it!" Yu gritted his teeth. "Why now…?!"
"Yu, stop screaming!" Yakichi whispered harshly. "Hold the pain! Please!"
Then—
The ground cracked.
The earth split open.
Something massive began rising from beneath the island itself.
The air froze.
A colossal demonic figure emerged.
Black fur like burning shadows.
Muscles carved from stone.
Eyes glowing crimson.
And then—
It roared.
The sound shattered the air.
Yakichi collapsed to his knees, blood trickling from his ears.
"He's here…" Yakichi whispered in terror. "It's him…"
Yu wiped blood from his mouth.
"Who?"
Yakichi's voice trembled.
"The Great Ape… Hikoru."
Yu stared at the monster.
And smiled.
"…Good."
Yakichi looked at him like he was insane.
"It's a demonic beast! This isn't something we can handle!"
Yu stepped forward.
"Relax. I'll deal with it."
For a split second—
The wind stopped.
Then—
Yu sneezed.
Hikoru moved.
In an instant.
A fist like a falling mountain crashed into Yu.
BOOM.
Yu flew backward, smashing into a tree. The trunk cracked.
His body dropped.
Unconscious.
Yakichi stared in disbelief.
"…Try acting strong now."
Hikoru roared again.
But suddenly—
Arrows rained down from above.
They pierced Hikoru's shoulder.
Its roar twisted into fury.
The beast's eyes began bleeding.
Its body trembled violently.
Out of control.
A system message appeared before Yakichi.
SYSTEM MESSAGE
YOUR FRIEND IS DYING.
SAVE HIM.
Yakichi cursed.
"Who told him to act like a hero?!"
Hikoru tilted its head toward the sky.
Its eyes began burning.
The aura around it intensified.
"Oh no…" Yakichi muttered. "It's powering up."
He rushed to Yu.
"Yu! Wake up! If you don't get up, we're both dead!"
No response.
Suddenly—
BAM.
A massive fist struck Yakichi.
He flew into a tree.
Silence.
Both of them unconscious.
Hikoru approached slowly.
The wind howled violently now.
It raised its enormous foot.
It aimed for Yakichi's head.
One stomp—
And it would be over.
Just as the foot began descending—
Yu's fingers twitched.
His breathing grew sharp.
His eyes opened.
Everything was blurry.
But he saw one thing clearly.
Hikoru's foot above Yakichi's face.
In a flash—
Yu grabbed the beast's leg mid-air.
His tongue slipped slightly out as he laughed faintly.
"It's not that easy… to kill my first friend… you little trash."
A white aura erupted from his body.
Pure.
Violent.
Hikoru pushed down with full force.
Yu's arms trembled.
The ground beneath him cracked.
He was seconds from being crushed—
Then—
Yakichi's eyes snapped open.
He saw Yu struggling.
"…Idiot."
Yakichi formed hand signs instantly.
"Ninja Art — Shadow Bind!"
Dark chains erupted from the ground, wrapping around Hikoru's legs.
The beast stumbled.
Yu used the opening.
He threw the leg aside and pushed himself up.
Now Hikoru was completely insane.
Its power spiraled.
Its presence warped the air.
Suddenly—
A message appeared before Yu.
SYSTEM WARNING
DO NOT ACTIVATE THAT.
IF YOU DO — YOU MAY DIE.
Yu stared at the message.
He smiled slowly.
"How do you know… what I'm about to do?"
He looked at Yakichi.
Then back at Hikoru.
"…I don't have a choice."
"For my friend."
His aura began changing.

EPISODE 3 – BROKEN THINGS

Yu looked at Yakichi.
Then back at Hikoru.
"I don't have a choice."
"For my friend."
His aura began to shift.
The white glow twisted… deepened…
Until it turned completely blue.
Yu's voice cracked with rage.
"Don't touch my friend… you piece of trash."
"If you touch him… I will kill you."
He clenched his fist and launched himself at Hikoru, screaming.
But—
Suddenly—
Darkness.
Yu blinked.
He was standing in an empty black room.
No sound.
No wind.
No Hikoru.
Then—
The darkness burned away.
Houses appeared around him.
Burning.
Flames everywhere.
Screams echoing.
Yu looked down.
His hands were small.
A child's hands.
Covered in blood.
He began crying.
His tears fell onto his blood-soaked palms.
A voice echoed from nowhere.
"Who are you?"
Yu trembled. "W-Who are you?"
"I asked first. Who are you?"
"I… I don't know…"
"You don't know?"
"I don't…"
The voice grew colder.
"Why did you kill these people?"
"Why did you burn their homes?"
Yu screamed, "I SAID I DON'T KNOW!"
Silence.
Then—
"You have no enemies."
"Enemies are born when someone destroys your family… your life."
"Do you have an enemy?"
Yu's breathing grew unstable.
"…Yes."
"Who?"
Just as Yu opened his mouth—
BANG.
A gunshot.
A bullet pierced through his head from the left side.
Silence.
Blood sprayed from his skull.
The burning world dissolved.
Reality snapped back.
"VOID BREAKER — RED BEAST — SPIKE PUNCH!"
Yu's fist slammed into Hikoru's face.
Red lightning exploded from his arm.
He drove the Great Ape into the ground.
Hikoru roared in agony, blood pouring from its mouth.
But again—
Darkness swallowed him.
Now he stood in front of himself.
A four-year-old Yu.
"Sister, where are you going?"
"To work."
"Please don't go… play with me."
She smiled softly. "I'll finish quickly. Then we'll play."
She tickled him.
He laughed.
"Just keep smiling," she said. "You look better when you smile."
"Bring me chocolate."
"Okay."
She called out to their mother.
"Mom, I have to go. The company owner is coming for a huge project."
"Do your best," her mother replied.
That night—
12 AM.
"She's not home yet," their mother whispered in fear.
"She'll come," their father said.
"She's pregnant…"
Then—
The doorbell rang.
Ting.
Ting.
Ting.
They opened the door.
Silence.
Yu's sister's body lay there.
Two bullets in her head.
Her body broken.
Blood everywhere.
Her hands… destroyed.
His parents collapsed in tears.
But Yu didn't cry.
He stood still.
Completely silent.
Like something inside him shattered forever.
Police later asked him—
"Do you know who did this?"
Yu-"Yes."
Police-"Who?"
Yu-"When my sister was 18… a man named Chiyung harassed her."
"She slapped him when he tried to force himself on her."
"And today… he killed her."
"With ten others."
The officer stared at him.
"How do you know?"
Yu-"Because I watched."
"I was there."
Police-"We'll find them. They'll be punished."
Yu's voice turned cold.
"No."
"I will kill them."
"Myself."
Blood began flowing from his left eye.
He screamed.
Darkness swallowed everything again.
Back to the battlefield.
Yu's final punch exploded with red lightning.
Hikoru's body shattered into the ground.
SYSTEM MESSAGE
THE GREAT APE HIKORU IS DEAD
LEVEL UP: 2 → 12

ITEM STORED IN INVENTORY
PRESS LEFT HAND MIDDLE TO OPEN INVENTORY
The message vanished.
Yu collapsed.
Water splashed onto his face.
He opened his eyes weakly.
"What… is happening to me?"
Yakichi stared at him.
"You're a monster…"
Behind Yu—
A massive black spirit loomed.
Red glowing eyes.
Yakichi froze.
"What… is that behind you?"
Yu turned.
Nothing.
Yakichi's thoughts trembled.
He's not a monster…
He's a god.
"Where are we?" Yu asked.
"On a ship."
"Why?"
"It belongs to the Curse faction."
Yu swallowed.
"We're safe?"
Yakichi hesitated.
"Yes… unless Hades appears."
Ahead—
Black clouds gathered.
Thunder cracked.
A wave rose violently.
Then—
BLACK LIGHTNING struck the sea.
Yakichi's face turned pale.
"…We're dead."
"Why?"
He pointed forward.
Through the storm—
Another ship emerged.
Dark.
Silent.
Terrifying.
"It's Hades' ship."
