Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: Meetings, Mentorship, and MILF Opportunities

The U.A. conference room was filled with exhausted teachers. Aizawa looked as if he had been run over by a truck. Midnight had swapped her torn suit for a new, yet identical one. All Might remained in his muscular form, though his smile seemed forced.

Nezu entered with a projector under his arm, looking remarkably upbeat.

"Good afternoon, everyone," Nezu greeted in his characteristic high pitched voice. "Thank you for gathering so quickly. I know many of you need medical attention, but this matter cannot wait."

He climbed onto a small platform behind the podium where his paws barely reached the edge. He pressed a button and the first slide appeared on the screen. It was an image of the USJ after the battle. The destruction was massive. The ground of the central plaza looked as if it had been carpet bombed. There were craters ten feet deep, completely demolished walls, and debris everywhere.

"As you can see," Nezu began, "the damage to the USJ is considerable. We have repair crews working twenty four hours a day, but it will take weeks to fully restore the facility."

The next slide showed more angles of the destruction: pulverized areas and entire sections of the facility that looked like they had been hit by heavy artillery.

"Unfortunately," Nezu continued, "the villains cut the power before starting their attack. This deactivated the entire USJ security camera system. We have no recordings of the actual combat."

Vlad King raised his hand.

"Nothing? Not even from the backup cameras?"

"Nothing," Nezu confirmed. "Those who planned this knew exactly where to cut to leave us blind. We assume there was someone with a Quirk capable of causing interference in the electrical grid, although nothing is confirmed yet."

The next slide made everyone in the room tense up. It was an image of the Nomu. The mutilated torso hung from the wall like a grotesque trophy. The left arm was completely missing and the lower half of the body had been disintegrated.

"This creature," Nezu said in a serious voice, "is the most concerning part of the entire incident."

He zoomed in on the image. The details were disturbing. The black skin was not natural; it seemed to have been grafted or genetically modified. The exposed muscles showed an abnormal structure and there were surgical scars everywhere.

"Our medical team has performed a preliminary analysis," Nezu explained. "This creature was created in a lab. There is no doubt about it. Someone took a human being and modified them extensively: muscle grafts, nervous system modification, and implants that improved physical resistance."

Recovery Girl spoke from her seat in a tired voice.

"It is an abomination. Whoever did this had advanced medical knowledge and considerable resources; this is clearly not the work of an amateur."

"Can you track down who created it?" Thirteen asked.

"We are working on it," Nezu replied. "But so far there are no matches in any database. Whoever did this operated completely under the radar."

All Might clenched his fists. Even in his muscular form, the tension in his posture was evident.

The next slide showed sketches of the main villains. One was Kurogiri, represented as a mass of mist with glowing yellow eyes. The other was Shigaraki, with hands covering his face.

"These are the two apparent leaders of the attack," Nezu explained. "The first has a portal teleportation Quirk. He can move people and objects instantly across great distances."

He paused, pointing to the sketch of Shigaraki.

"The second is more mysterious. He did not get to use his Quirk during the attack thanks to Aizawa's quick intervention. However, his behavior suggests it could be a contact Quirk."

"Why do you believe that?" Vlad King asked.

Aizawa answered from his seat.

"During the battle, he repeatedly tried to touch Thirteen. It was as if he needed full contact to activate his power. I managed to nullify his Quirk before he touched anyone."

"Fortunately," Midnight added. "If Aizawa had not reacted so quickly, Thirteen could have been seriously injured."

"We believe," Nezu said, "that these two were also responsible for the reporter disturbance a few days ago. They likely used their abilities to infiltrate the campus."

A new slide appeared. It was a photo of the U.A. activity itinerary that was normally kept in the main office.

"Furthermore," Nezu continued, "we have confirmed that our activity itinerary was stolen. We believe the same villains took it. That explains how they knew exactly when to attack the USJ."

The room filled with worried murmurs. Vlad King looked furious, Thirteen had her fists clenched, and Present Mic had stopped smiling.

"In short," Nezu said, his voice cutting through the murmuring, "we are facing a criminal organization calling itself the League of Villains. They have resources. They have at least one individual capable of creating living bioweapons. And with their member's portal Quirk, they can attack anytime and anywhere."

He paused.

"The repercussions of this attack will be significant. Parents will be terrified and the media will have a field day. Trust in U.A. will be at its lowest point since our founding."

His voice became more animated.

"However, we have a perfect opportunity to demonstrate that U.A. remains the strongest hero institution in the country."

New slide. This one showed the U.A. Sports Festival logo.

"The Sports Festival will take place as scheduled. It will be broadcast nationally. Millions of people will see our students demonstrate their skills. It will be our statement to the world that U.A. is not intimidated; that we continue to produce the best heroes of the generation."

All Might leaned forward in his seat.

"Are you sure it is wise to continue with the festival? If the villains attack during the event..."

"That is why," Nezu interrupted, "we will have tripled security. Pro heroes from all over the country will be present. The police will have tactical teams on standby. If the League of Villains is foolish enough to attack the Sports Festival, we will crush them."

"Now," Nezu said, his tone becoming warmer, "let's move on to more positive matters."

The following slide showed statistics from the USJ incident.

USJ Incident ReportNumber of Villains: 72

Villains Captured: 68

Students Injured: 3 (minor injuries)

Students with Serious Injuries: 0

Fatalities: 0

"These numbers are extraordinary. Seventy two organized villains attacked a facility with only three teachers and twenty first year students. And yet, there was not a single death, nor a single life threatening injury."

"This is mainly due to the preventative preparation carried out by the class representative, Hayashi Ren. The emergency GPS allowed us to track every student. The organized teams meant no one was left alone against villains superior in numbers. Communication with U.A. was possible thanks to the emergency communicator created by Yaoyorozu Momo under Hayashi's direction."

All Might smiled.

"Young Hayashi showed exceptional leadership! He organized his classmates like a seasoned hero!"

"Miss Yaoyorozu also deserves special recognition," Nezu added. "In the middle of the crisis, she remained calm. She organized meeting points and tracked her classmates using GPS. Her leadership in the field was impeccable."

"And of course," Nezu continued, "we cannot forget Midoriya Inko."

A new slide appeared showing the Landslide Zone area. There were unconscious bodies of villains scattered everywhere; twenty in total.

"Midoriya faced twenty villains completely alone. She defeated them all. She suffered minor fractures in two fingers, but otherwise came out unscathed. Her power and control are remarkable for a first year student."

All Might looked like he was about to explode with pride.

"Young Midoriya is exceptional! Her heroic spirit shines brightly!"

"But the true masterpiece," Nezu said, "was the coordinated strategy against the Nomu."

The screen changed. It now showed an animated recreation of the attack on the Nomu. Colored lines represented the movements of each participant.

"Hayashi Ren organized a four phase attack against a creature that was on par with All Might in raw strength."

The Four Phase StrategyPhase One: Ashido Mina created acid to weaken the ground. This slowed the Nomu's mobility.

Phase Two: Uraraka Ochako used her Quirk to make the Nomu float, completely eliminating its balance. Asui Tsuyu provided aerial mobility to position Uraraka correctly.

Phase Three: Hagakure Toru immobilized the portal villain, preventing him from interfering with the final attack.

Phase Four: Thirteen used her Black Hole to maim the Nomu, exploiting its inability to regenerate matter that was completely disintegrated.

Nezu paused.

"Hayashi analyzed the Nomu's weaknesses in real time. He identified that its regeneration had limits. He coordinated four students with completely different Quirks to create perfect synergy. All this while under extreme stress and with the threat of imminent death."

Aizawa spoke for the first time in several minutes. His voice sounded raspy, but there was approval in it.

"The boy is smart. That is more valuable than raw power."

"For all these reasons," Nezu concluded, "I have decided NOT to cancel classes. U.A. will continue to operate normally. We will increase security, of course, but we will not allow villains to intimidate us into closing."

He pressed a button and the projector turned off.

"That is all for now. You may leave. Thank you for your attention."

The teachers began to file out. Midnight stayed behind, approaching Nezu.

"Principal," she said in a low voice. "I would like to speak with Hayashi Ren about a matter. Could you send him to my office?"

Nezu looked at her with evident curiosity.

"About what matter?"

"A mentorship proposal," Midnight replied. "I believe it would be beneficial for his development as a hero."

"Interesting," Nezu murmured. "Very well. I will tell him to go see you."

******

Ren was in the classroom when he received the message.

Hmm, Ren thought as he put his phone away. The sexiest MILF teacher at U.A. wants to see me in private. This is strange, I didn't do anything wrong. Right?

He walked through the hallways of U.A. until he reached Midnight's office. The door had a small plaque that said Midnight - R-Rated Heroine. He knocked twice.

"Come in," came Midnight's voice from inside.

Ren opened the door. Midnight's office was exactly what you would expect from the heroine whose costume was basically elegant BDSM. The walls were decorated with photos of Midnight in various heroic poses. There was a bookshelf filled with books on psychology and hand to hand combat. A practice whip hung on the wall.

This office is perfect for her, Ren thought. Professional, but with a touch of sensual danger.

Midnight was standing next to a small side table, preparing tea. She was still wearing her hero suit: the skin tight bodysuit that left very little to the imagination, the high boots, and the whip coiled at her hip. Her long dark hair fell over her shoulders in perfect waves.

"Thank you for coming, Hayashi-kun," Midnight said with a smile. "Please, sit down."

Ren sat in a chair across from her desk. Midnight moved toward him with slow steps. There was a deliberate grace in the way she moved. Seductive. As if every gesture were choreographed for maximum visual impact.

She definitely does it on purpose, Ren thought. Nemuri Kayama is a professional in the art of seduction.

As she leaned over to reach for the cups, Ren decided to take the opportunity by activating his X-ray vision.

The sight he received made his brain stop for a full second.

Underneath the tight bodysuit, Midnight was wearing absolutely nothing. No underwear. Nothing. Just her bare skin.

And her butt...

Damn, Ren thought, keeping his expression carefully neutral. That is the most perfect butt I have seen in two lives combined. Mitsuki has serious competition here.

The curves were perfect. The way it moved when she walked was hypnotic. Ren had to make a conscious effort not to stare like an idiot.

Midnight turned back with two cups of steaming tea. She sat across from him, crossing her legs in a way that left nothing to the imagination. The cleavage of her bodysuit became more pronounced as she leaned forward to offer him the tea.

"Here you go," she said with a smile. "I hope you like green tea."

Ren accepted the cup, making a superhuman effort not to look directly at her chest. Which was difficult, because she was deliberately leaning in a way that made it impossible not to see.

"Thank you, sensei," Ren said, taking a sip of the tea. It was hot and had a smooth, pleasant taste.

Midnight watched him for a moment. Then she smiled mischievously.

"Quite an incident at the USJ, right?" she said casually, reclining in her chair. "I really didn't expect my day to end fighting villains and a terrifying monster."

"It's not exactly what one expects on a normal Tuesday," Ren agreed.

"But I'm happy with the results," Midnight continued, taking a sip of her own tea. "We all survived. The students proved to be incredible. And especially you, Hayashi-kun."

She leaned forward, resting her elbows on the desk. The position made her breasts push together seductively.

"Your leadership was exceptional. The way you coordinated your classmates, how you analyzed the enemy's weaknesses in real time... it was impressive."

She touched his hand. The contact was soft, her fingers barely brushing his skin. But the intention behind the gesture was clear: Midnight was being deliberately tactile.

Okay, Ren thought, feeling his pulse quicken slightly. She is definitely being seductive on purpose. The question remains why.

"Thank you, sensei," Ren said, keeping his voice calm. "I only did what I thought was necessary to keep everyone alive."

"Mm," Midnight murmured, not removing her hand. Her fingers traced lazy circles over the back of his hand. "Modest too. I like that."

Midnight finally withdrew her hand and reclined in her chair, taking another sip of tea.

"I've been thinking," she said finally. "Reconsidering some things since the battle."

"What kind of things?" Ren asked, genuinely curious now.

"The way you used my Quirk," Midnight explained, leaning forward again. "During the battle against the villains."

She stopped, looking him directly in the eyes.

"You manipulated the flow of the gas using your telekinesis, right?"

Ren nodded.

"Yes. I could feel the particles in the air. I directed them where they needed to go, toward the villains who hadn't been affected yet."

"Exactly," Midnight said, and there was genuine excitement in her voice now. "That perfect coordination between our Quirks is exactly what I've been looking for for years."

"Looking for?" Ren repeated.

Midnight stood up from her chair and walked around the desk. She leaned against the edge, directly in front of Ren. From this position, he had to look up to see her. The bodysuit hugged every curve of her body.

"A partner," Midnight clarified. "Someone who can work with me in the field. Most heroes have their own combat styles, their own strategies. It's hard to find someone who can synchronize perfectly with your Quirk."

She paused, leaning forward.

"But you did it... So," Midnight continued, "I would like to propose a special mentorship program."

"Special mentorship?" Ren asked, keeping his voice neutral even though his brain was screaming several contradictory things.

"Yes," Midnight confirmed. She moved to sit on the edge of the desk, her legs ending up inches from Ren's knees. "I would like you to personally accompany me on my hero duties."

Ren blinked, genuinely surprised now.

"Seriously? Wouldn't that be problematic? I'm just a first year student."

"That is why it's perfect," Midnight replied with a smile. "You will learn firsthand. Real experience in the field, not controlled simulations at U.A. Real situations with real risks."

She took another sip of tea before continuing.

"I would process a provisional permit so you can use your Quirk legally when you are with me as an escort. It would be completely official, registered with the Hero Public Safety Commission."

She leaned closer, coming within inches of Ren.

"Honestly, I like you, Hayashi-kun. As a partner, I mean. The way you were able to manipulate my Quirk and coordinate with me during the battle is exactly what I've been eager to get for years."

She paused, her smile becoming softer.

"And I think it would be a great opportunity for you to learn what it really means to be a hero outside of the controlled environment of U.A."

She leaned in even closer. Ren could feel her breath.

"Besides," Midnight added with a playful smile, "I could use some company. Night patrols can be terribly lonely. It's good to have someone to talk to between incidents."

Okay, Ren thought, his brain working a mile a minute. There is definitely tension here. I don't know if she's fully aware of how seductive she's being, but my teenage brain is definitely noticing every damn detail.

"It's a very generous offer, sensei," Ren said carefully. "But, wouldn't there be problems? Regulations about students on active patrols, legal liability if I get hurt... that kind of thing."

"I already spoke with Nezu about the possibility," Midnight replied, waving her hand dismissively. "He is in favor. He says early practical experience produces better heroes in the long run. And with a provisional permit under my direct supervision, all legal responsibility falls on me."

She pushed off the desk and walked toward the window.

"Obviously," she continued, looking out, "it wouldn't be every night. Maybe two or three times a week. Enough to give you real experience without interfering with your studies."

She turned to look him directly.

"So? What do you say? Are you interested in the proposal?"

Ren considered the offer. On one hand, it was an incredible opportunity: practical experience with a professional heroine, one on one training with someone who clearly knew what she was doing, and a provisional permit. On the other hand, Midnight was... well, Midnight.

This could end very well or very badly, Ren thought. Probably very badly if I let my perverted side win. But hell, I lived two lives. When else will I get the chance to be personally mentored by a top tier professional heroine?

And yes, the fact that she is incredibly attractive is a bonus. I'm not going to pretend it isn't.

"I'm interested," Ren said finally. "It would be foolish to turn down an opportunity like this."

Midnight smiled with satisfaction and enthusiasm.

"Excellent," she said, walking back toward him. "We will start this weekend. I'll send you the details by message: where to meet, what to bring, that kind of thing."

She extended her hand. Ren stood up and shook it. Her grip was firm, but her fingers were incredibly soft. She held the handshake a second longer than strictly necessary.

"Thank you for accepting, Hayashi-kun," Midnight said, her eyes shining with excitement. "I have a feeling we're going to work very well together."

Ren headed toward the door. He had his hand on the knob when Midnight's voice stopped him.

"Oh, and Hayashi-kun."

He turned.

"Yes, sensei?"

Midnight was leaning against her desk again. She had crossed her arms under her chest, which enhanced her cleavage dramatically. Her smile was mischievous.

"Try not to stay up all night thinking about this. You need to be well rested for our patrols. The nights can be long and... exhausting."

The way she said exhausting made Ren feel a slight heat in his face.

"Don't worry, sensei. I'll sleep well."

Total lie, he thought as he left the office. I'm going to spend the whole damn night thinking about Midnight's perfect butt and what just happened in here.

Second life, new opportunities, same old perverted mind.

As he walked through the halls of U.A., Ren couldn't help but smile. The USJ invasion had been terrifying, but somehow, it had ended with a private mentorship offer from the sexiest heroine in Japan.

Life is strange, Ren thought, still smiling. But I'm not complaining at all.

His phone vibrated. It was a message from Mitsuki asking where he was. Ren smiled and began to type a reply.
