The squad departed in massive numbers, and after three months of travel they finally landed on Silent Planet that was massive.
They were greeted by two suns and one moon.
Instantly, they knew they held an advantage.
But they also knew the enemies waiting for them were the strongest they had ever faced.
The native race called themselves Hitzans.
Hitzans were flying towards dropping pods and were looking at Saiyans who were getting out of them.
They were tall and lean, covered in something resembling a purple exoskeleton that appeared nearly indestructible. They were hairless and unnervingly calm — even while being killed. Only when witnessing the death of another did their composure crack.
It showed great emphaty towards their own people which many races didn't have.
Even weaker Hitzan warriors had power levels around 10,000. Saiyans didn't try to speak to them instead they transformed into Ikari and slaughtered them quickly, tearing their bodies apart to study weaknesses and anatomy.
They found nothing.
The Hitzans had no obvious weak points.
They were almost more battle-oriented than Saiyans themselves.
Saiyans evolved through injury and survival. Hitzans did not overcome weaknesses — they simply had none.
They relied on absolute fundamentals.
A mysterious race with ancient history and secret techniques probably far older than Saiyan civilization.
Realizing the danger, the Saiyans decided to create underground caves in a massive desert using ki blasts, forming a temporary base while continuing their assaults.
But the Hitzans were already informed about evil doers who caused massive harm to their people.
They formed their own elite squad — not merely the strongest of their race, but the strongest beings on the entire planet.
Even with Saiyans gaining tenfold power from transformations, the Hitzans remained superior.
Monach possessed a base power of 12,000. In Ikari, that rose to 120,000.
The Hitzan leader stood at 150,000.
Most of his squad hovered near 100,000, each wielding multiple secret techniques.
Most notable was time-slowing, it could slow time and in history of Hitzans there were leaders who could even stop time for a time frame.
They tracked Saiyans with terrifying precision, scanning endlessly, reading movement through distorted air itself.
They did not teleport.
They slowed time around themselves and moved far faster within it.
They struck without warning.
Half of the two hundred elite Saiyans died before they could even fight back.
When it was Kronah's turn to die, one of the elite Hitzans rushed in to kill him.
His father was already transformed.
Monach intercepted the killing blow.
Other elite saiyan who was in Ikari form continued to fight the one who tried to kill Kronah.
Monah went to fight with Hitzman leader with support of his brother and Vice-captain Xromo.
They kept him in check and hopped other saiyans can make advancments and turn tides of battle around.
Saiyans who didnt know Ikari transformed into Oozaru's.
But Kronah tought he would be much less of a target and nusiance to saiyans if he didn't transform into great ape.
Which was done due to his inexperience and young age which was at that moment 10.
Fighting was raging on both sides, There were 13 Ikaru saiyans and 12 hitzman's elite but 2 of strongest saiyans had to fight leader of hitzman's.
The one hitzman who didn't his Ikaru counterpart was attacking great apes and quickly found that their weakness is their tail. Soon many great ape's fell either killed or unconcious, but then hitzman saw one small saiyan and instantly decided to end him.
Monach saw what was happening and instantly started flying towards his son who was about to be beheaded. But hitzman leader wouldn't let him go so eazily, he dodged Xromo and pierced trough Monach shouder.
Monach continued flying towards his son despite his great injury, he mangaed to reach in time and save his son but leader didn't stop his and instead pierced his stomach with his sharp fingers.
Kronah was looking at his father face with tears in his eyes:
"Father I'm sorry im so useless"
Monach didn't answer instead he couged.
Blood sprayed across Kronah's face.
The Hitzan leader stepped back, expecting Monach to self-destruct.
"FATHER!" Kronah screamed while crying even more
Monach's pupils returned as he dropped Ikari.
" I never taught you Ikari… but you will recreate it. I know it. Let real Saiyans fight. Your father is fine. Now you need to survive, RUN MY SON that is order!"
Kronah cried.
"I made you lose because of me."
"I said run. I will take them with me. Go."
Five more Great Apes had their tails severed as Hitzans discovered their weakness.
Two Ikari warriors were already dead. Four more were injured.
Monach was drenched in blood, beaten and broken. Bones cracked, flesh torn, wounds opening and closing every second. His fighting spirit was slowly vanishing, yet his will to protect his son still burned.
Monach spoke one last time as a father.
"Ikari is not just controlling primal instinct. You must make it almost unnoticeable. Only fighting instict and desire should exist in your mind."
Then he screamed and transformed again.
He knew he had to sacrifice everything for his son's life and decided to use his forbiden technique.
Stacking Ikari with Blood Recall.
12,000 × 10 × 3.
360,000 battle power.
His body regenerated violently, but his lifespan burned away.
Kronah decided to alteast save 4 unconcious saiyans, and atleast make himself feel little less guilty.
Kronah placed four unconscious Saiyans into pods and launched them toward Vegeta.
He stayed behind, watching from the air in his own pod, crying bloody tears as he observed his father's last moments.
Out of guilt that was eating him from inside he couldn't leave before seeing his father's last moments.
Monach fastly tore through weaker enemies.
But the Hitzan leader engaged him directly and soon other aliens joined it keeping him at standstill.
For every five hits Monach took, he landed one devastating blow.
Reinforcements arrived.
Saiyans were tortured.
Executed.
Kronah watched everything from above in his pod, gripping the controls until blood ran down his arms.
Monach screamed across the battlefield:
"You killed my brother! Killed my People! Nearly killed my son! Even if I survive, I will return and rip you apart!"
Four elite Hitzans surrounded him without any showing emotion about his yelling.
They chopped off both his arms.
Monach allowed it willingly.
He sacrificed them to destroy the Hitzan leader.
With his teeth, he tore into the Hitzan leader's throat and ripped it apart.
Madness incarnate.
As hitzans who came as reinformcent saw pod they instantly attacked it.
Kronah's pod came under fire, Monach lost himself to battle but still knew why he was fighting and threw himself in front of it, shielding it with his chest and back.
His body was covered in blood, beaten, and battered — his fighting spirit slowly fading — yet he still fought with every shred of strength he had left.
He opened his mouth beside his son's pod.
"Son… don't be angry at yourself. Be angry at your weakness.."
Then he whispered something only Kronah could hear:
"-------------------------------."
Things said in that moment would forever change Kronah's life.
Monach started falling towards ground where enemies were and decided to put everything he had in last ki attacks which was formed in his mouth.
"LIFEBEAM!"
It white-redish beam which erupted from his mouth, shattering across the battlefield and exploding in all directions, killing and injuring almost all of warriors that were still alive.
Kronah screamed inside his pod.
His eyes leaked blood.
He fell unconscious from hatred and regret.
Aftermath:
Monach's body and bodies of all other saiyans were never found.
Only five Saiyans survived.
On the Hitzan side, they lost their leader and seven elites. Six more were injured.
Two days later, six pods descended. They were the most elite squad of Cold's forces, stronger than any Hitzans or surviving Saiyans.
Average power of the group: ~300,000.
Leader Imor: 700,000
Umor: 200,000
Lamir: 210,000
Kumor: 120,000
Tarmur: 140,000
Vice captainDamur: 430,000
They started killing and evaporating cities, even with all aliens united togheter without their leaders they couldn't do anything. Even without Saiyanbattlefield they would still be cleared without much difficulties by this elite squad.
Silent planet was legendary difficulty planet for saiyans but just middle to low threat planet for COLD'S ELITES.
They eviscerated all Hitzans, stole their techniques, and reported back to Cold.
Leader Imor was talking to their great leader.
"Lord, we conquered this world. It was a little tougher, but still trivial. Saiyans are really useless — can't even handle this — yet they want a share of the planet's loot."
Cold didn't argue or confirm, only said coldly:
"When you return to headquarters, you will be rewarded thoroughly. And regarding Saiyan incompetence — it isn't for you to comment."
Report was ended without any of them asking or talking back to King Cold, it was absolute authority.
Silent Planet fell.
And Kronah's trauma was born.
