"Alpha Voren." The middle-aged man bowed respectfully, his posture radiating deference. "Alpha Vladimir informed me about your arrival. I was supposed to stock your private kitchen before your arrival, but I was caught up with making special dishes for our Luna." He gestured toward the massive trolley behind him. "Can I come in?"
Voren tore his eyes from the middle-aged man before it landed on the huge trolley stacked with covered dishes and groceries. He stepped aside, allowing the man to wheel it into his room.
The chef bowed slightly at the sight of Seraphine, his eyes crinkling with warmth. "Luna Sera, I'm Chef Jax, assigned to you and Alpha Voren."
Seraphine's stomach rumbled at the aroma wafting through the covered dishes, a rich blend of herbs and spices that made her mouth water. "Right on time." She laughed softly. "I'm starving."
