Lewis's eyes lit up the moment he recognized the familiar figure standing before him.
"It's really been so long, Edrik! How have you been? Where were you? Why didn't I see you for a while? Have you been taking good care of yourself? What have you been up to all this time?" Lewis asked in one breath with overflowing excitement.
Before Edrik could even answer a single question, Lewis had already reached him. He happily patted both of Edrik's shoulders, looked him over from head to toe as if checking whether he was injured anywhere, then suddenly wrapped his arms around him in a cheerful embrace.
Unable to contain his happiness, Lewis even bounced lightly on his feet, grinning so brightly that anyone could tell how genuinely delighted he was to see him again.
It hadn't actually been that long since Lewis first met Edrik as his bodyguard. Compared to everyone else around him, their acquaintance was still fairly recent yet for some reason, Lewis had sincerely missed him.
