The plan was finalized.
Shawn and Sean went over the details of the plan.
Then, carrying the Stone Hammer, Shawn leisurely walked towards the group of Walkers in the front passage.
Looking at the Walker horde, still squinting and dazed in place, Shawn chuckled.
He grabbed a Walker in front of him and patted its face.
"Keep up, or I'll break your legs!"
"I'm really going to break them, you know~"
With that, Shawn delivered a kick, sending it flying.
Turning, raising the hammer, bending down, running… all in one smooth motion!
Sean waited quietly in the passage they had come through, then he heard a surging sound, almost like a house being torn down.
It seemed even the ground of the Prison began to tremble slightly, shaking up and down.
Sean focused his gaze, only to see Shawn running incredibly fast amidst a cloud of black dust, leading the charge!
"Damn it, Sean, remember to wait until we've gone before you pass!"
Shawn yelled, panting and running desperately.
When he reached not far from Sean's passage, Shawn suddenly made a 90-degree turn, darting into a passage that led directly to the exercise yard.
Behind Shawn, Sean saw clearly.
There were almost a hundred Walkers, already a formidable horde.
And within the horde, there were several round, chubby-looking Walkers.
A 'Walking Corpse Centipede' was clinging to the ceiling, head to tail.
A group covered in barbed wire, flesh almost fused with the thorny wire…
"Shawn is in trouble this time."
Sean observed secretly, his face growing paler the more he watched.
He could only hope the plan would work, so that not only would the Walker horde problem be solved, but Shawn would also return safely.
After about 5 minutes, just as Sean was about to move, he heard another sound.
He abruptly stopped, cocking his ear towards the direction Shawn had left.
It was the familiar sound of chaotic destruction again, only this time the ground was shaking much more violently, like a minor earthquake.
Sean immediately looked, and instantly saw Shawn leading the way.
By now, the Stone Hammer in Shawn's hand was gone, and his two hands were swinging wildly back and forth!
Behind him was still that large group of Walkers, but Sean seemed to see a few different types…
"Don't you dare look, hurry back to Zone C! If you can't get out, hide in the guardroom!!"
Shawn shouted from a distance. Sean didn't know what had happened but turned and ran towards Zone C without hesitation.
Time rewound to 5 minutes earlier.
Shawn made a sharp right turn, entering the passage leading outside.
Behind him, hundreds of Walkers pursued relentlessly. Shawn craned his neck to look, and could even discern some unusual figures among them.
'Good, keep following closely like this, then Sean can pass through Zone B smoothly.'
Watching the Walker horde follow him, Shawn didn't feel despair; instead, he felt a surge of joy.
He led the Walker horde through three passage corners, past the public restrooms and showers.
Behind the last corner was the large exercise yard leading to the side of the Prison.
"Good, almost there. Lead them out, then go back for Sean…"
But before Shawn could continue, his foot suddenly felt as if he had stepped on a soft, squishy sponge.
With just a light step, a viscous 'hiss' sound emanated.
Shawn instinctively looked down, and she also looked up at Shawn at the same time.
She wore a pristine white nurse's uniform, and her skin, surprisingly, had not decayed with time; instead, it remained fair and as smooth as jade.
A pair of innocent, large eyes blinked, looking more alive than a living person.
But precisely in this apocalyptic environment, such a beautiful woman with such well-preserved looks would almost never appear.
Not to mention that this place was entirely a playground for Walkers; it was completely illogical for a woman to be sitting here.
With just a momentary glance, Shawn instantly became alert.
But before Shawn could react.
She looked at her jade-like leg, which Shawn had stepped on and broken. Her calf, wrapped in white silk, was completely severed, yet no blood flowed out.
Instead, a white, semi-melted ice cream-like substance was oozing out.
Then she raised her head again, looking at Shawn, and a small, delicate mouth slowly opened wide.
'Qingya, Qingya, one bite…'
Shawn inexplicably recalled this phrase.
But in the very next second, what happened made Shawn regret not having killed this woman directly.
The woman, after opening her mouth to its widest, could astonishingly open it even further.
Her lips tore, and white substance continuously flowed from the crevices at the corners of her mouth.
A piercing scream, directly assaulting the mind, actually emanated from her exquisite body!
"Ah!!!!"
Rather than saying she was screaming with her mouth, it was more like she was screaming with her stomach.
The sound began to spread through her stomach, almost instantly echoing through a third of the Prison.
Whoosh--!
And it was precisely at the moment she screamed!
At the last corner, the iron gate leading to the exercise yard slowly opened.
Sunlight illuminated the shoulders of every decaying corpse; their previously lowered heads slowly lifted.
With a 'whoosh,' they all looked at Shawn, their bodies already beginning to move instinctively before any conscious action.
"Holy crap!!"
Shawn immediately slammed on the brakes, coming to a halt.
But in just an instant, the passage leading to the exercise yard ahead was completely occupied by the newly surging Walkers.
The ear-splitting scream of the female corpse still resonated, and for a moment, Shawn's body staggered, almost falling.
He put his hands on the wall and vigorously shook his head.
Shawn brought his hammer down from above, directly smashing into the female corpse's chest, causing her still full chest to violently cave in.
That piercing scream also abruptly ceased at this moment, disappearing without a trace.
The female corpse was stunned, but this time, it was Shawn who didn't intend to give her a chance to react.
He followed with a second hammer blow, directly smashing her head.
The exquisite, pale body tilted, slumping to the ground.
"Damn it, a Howler!"
Shawn didn't even have time to wipe away the blood seeping from his ears, only managing to put the Stone Hammer back into his backpack.
At this moment, the Walker horde behind him surged forward, and the large group of Walkers in front pressed closer!
Shawn was now caught in a pincer attack, with solid walls on all sides, seemingly at a life-or-death moment!
