I saw that tree fall and my body tensed as I stood there only to see Phanes run towards it and fall to his knees trying to hold his emotions back but I could tell he wanted to lash out on mother and the other for ruining everything he had to be happy. I stood there with my hand clenching my scythe wanting to lash out too but it would be wrong to do so only because it's against mothers rules. ``Death and life can't be at peace and stand together they fight like always´´ i flinched also when i heard that tree crash into the ground i walked slowly forcing my feet to move slowly towards the hole's cliff as I looked down only to see darkness and no tree. ``how did this happen it was hidden from everyone besides us´´ i looked back at Phanes as i gave him a simple gesture to calm him as Phanes looked back at me and gave a slight nod before standing up as the god Stormy walked over to greet him with his normal bright smile. I didn't pay any attention to what they were saying. The only thing I was looking at was the way Phanes forced himself to smile and act happy that our tree was gone. It broke my already broken heart to see him in pain. I wish I could help him but if I touch him even a finger he would be sick and i cant risk it so i stood there watching him fight his emotions and chat happily with Stormy. As i watched them i froze seeing Phanes wipe a tear to the side so Stormy could see and it made me want to leap over this hole in the way and hold him and comfort him but i couldn't so i was forced to watch him hide. ``im so sorry you have to hide Phanes i wish you didnt have to´´ i whisper to myself as i move and start walking back into my kingdom trying not to cry myself but i held back not wanted to show Phanes my own weakness to make him hate me and think im weak myself.
