Only one skeleton left in Ren's side and the other two were defeated. The skeletons then attacked and his summon was not just standing there to get battered left and right. They were able to overwhelm his only skeleton but it was fighting back. It was retaliating with greater damage and was coming from his counters.
His summon was slashed with a sword but it only grabbed the weapon and shattered it like a glass. Xule was taken aback. "His soul force was already in that level?" He asked himself, though after his summon blocks their attacks, the skeleton of Ren was able to repel with his weapon and even disarmed them. "Even disarming!? Gosh he never failed to surprise me."
He managed to survive with ten onslaught of attacks. With one remained, his soul went back to his mind and the other one went to the other skeleton. Making the fire in their eyes to lit brighter. His half was put to the skeleton and so, he had clearer mind and thoughts.
He managed to survive but he was left with a single skeleton to combat ten of his master. He immediately dashed and confronted the ten skeletons. Ren with his skeleton attacked. He slashed and headbutts the skeleton then kicked it. With the other skeletons on standby, he slashed and then punched them in the jaws. Making their heads to flung. Others were aggressive but his single skeleton made it to get obliterated. Its soul was stronger than he thought. And so, one by one, Xule's skeletons were taken as a punching bag or training dummy by Ren's skeleton.
They battled with Ren and he retaliate with greater grasp of his summon. He battled with clearer thoughts and he clashed with the skeletons stronger and faster. He decimated their ranks and put down four of them. Until, Xule went serious, his skeletons also became faster and stronger due to the deaths of other skeletons. It was enough to rival Ren's single skeleton. With that, Ren was the only one left.
He was panting with all the efforts and his sweat was trickling greatly even he just made some few slashes and movements. He needed to take a break and so he sat on the ground. He stabbed his sword on the ground then inhaled huge amount of air. His breathing was simple but it managed to let him rest a bit and focus. He immediately thought that he should make his master surrender and was left with no choice. He needed to use the trump card he has. It was still imperfect and could be dangerous if he will make a single mistake. With that, he focused and then opened his eyes. He gritted his teeth and then nearly screamed.
"Don't tell me, you will do that one!" Xule knew it, he felt that he was preparing a high amount of mana and willpower. Then after, a familiar feeling was seen by his own eyes.
Ren summoned ten skeletons and then another ten. Ten after ten, after ten. Reaching to a hundred. He felt the ripping of his soul and shredded to a hundred. Making Ren to scream and his summon's eyes became brighter. He used soul force to force his willpower to the max. He grabbed his sword and then panted. He felt his head was about to crack.
"Stop it Ren! I am warming you!" Xule wanted to reprimand Ren but it was too late. It seemed that he was desperate to win.
"But I must win! No matter what, I must win." Ren said while bearing the pain.
"Don't tell me you aren't warned. The backlash is greater than you think!" Xule wanted to stop him but he was overwhelmed by fifty skeletons at once. "Ren! You are still not ready!"
He managed to stop the skeletons but Ren blacked out.
One hundred versus ten. "This is bad," Xule has a premonition. Though his summons were still standing and fighting. He was controling his skeletons then passed out while standing.
He controlled his skeletons but surprisingly, his skeletons were the same as his only one version. That meant, he multiplied his soul to one hundred not divided. "Multiplication? This brat knew this?" The brightness of their eyes were evident. He could feel that it was the same as his fifty percent soul force. "How come he has this trick?" He swallowed a handful of saliva.
Ren controlled thousands of clones in the past and he managed to pull it off. His clones were as the sands of the seas!
Though, his master was worried. It must be very painful for him. All he could do was stop the skeletons by defeating him. And then, he was knocked down by hand chopping his nape. Sending him to sleep.
With that, he was carried to the dark room and then he woke up in darkness. The candle was brimming with radiance on the table and he watched it for several seconds before he realised that he passed out in battle.
He saw that he was in his room. His sister was asleep on his side while waiting for him to woke up. He did not want to wake up his sister so he slowly moved and get out of the bed silently as possible.
He woke up and saw that his teacher was sleeping, back against the walls. He woke up too and he was asked.
"You passed." Xule said to him. Ren was sad, "I hereby sworn to only use it when my willpower would reach second realm or was strong enough. That is traumatising on my part."
"Pfft....Hahaha! Now you know what I felt!" Xule said to him and the two laughed without any more worries. It dispelled the sadness for a moment.
"But Ren, don't do that again. You might rampage in that manner. Like your skeletons will go out of control and kill every body. Passing out might trigger it." Xule warned him.
"I am sorry," Ren felt the bitterness of his soul. He didn't want it to happen at all. And so, he sworn not to do it again. Not until he was ready.
"With that I give you the skill pages that you need. Take a good care of it." He grabbed the skill pages and it reacted. Making him to watch it integrate into his soul.
