Jay POV
My motorbike roared down the dark road.
The wind slammed against my jacket as I sped through the empty streets.
My mind was racing faster than the engine.
Keifer.
Hex.
Section E.
If Kaiser had really planned this… then they had walked straight into his trap.
"Damn it…"
I gripped the handle tighter.
The location Hannah sent me flashed on my new phone screen.
Kaiser Watson's estate.
Of course it was him.
Revenge.
That stupid pride of his.
But right now there was only one thing that mattered.
Getting them out.
My bike turned sharply into the long driveway.
Bright headlights suddenly lit up behind me.
Two black security vans followed.
Nathan's voice came through the earpiece.
"Jay, we're right behind you."
Good.
Behind me were Nathan, Carlos, Miguel, Hannah, and an entire team of security guards.
This wasn't a rescue anymore.
This was a raid.
I stopped the bike in front of the gate.
The metal doors were already broken open.
Which meant the boys had definitely forced their way in.
I stepped off the bike.
Nathan walked up beside me.
"You ready?"
I rolled my shoulders.
"Let's go."
Inside the Mansion
The moment we stepped inside the building—
CRASH!
A chair flew across the hallway.
Men rushed toward us from every direction.
Kaiser's guards.
Nathan shouted.
"Move!"
The fight exploded instantly.
Security guards clashed with Kaiser's men.
Fists.
Shouts.
Glass breaking.
Tables flipping.
The hallway turned into chaos.
I ducked under a punch and slammed my elbow into a man's ribs.
Another one rushed at me.
I kicked his knee.
He dropped instantly.
Behind me Miguel grabbed someone and threw him into the wall.
Carlos knocked another man unconscious with a clean punch.
But Kaiser clearly expected us.
More men poured into the hallway.
One grabbed my arm.
Another grabbed my other arm.
"Got her!"
Before I could react—
BAM!
A fist slammed into my stomach.
The air shot out of my lungs.
I bent forward slightly.
The two men held me tight.
"Boss will be happy we caught you again."
Across the room I saw Hannah fighting beside Nathan.
Suddenly Hannah pulled something from her pocket.
My mask.
She waved it toward me.
"Jay!"
I shook my head.
"Keep it first!"
I still couldn't move.
The two men tightened their grip.
One of them raised his fist again.
Before he could punch—
A security guard crashed into him from the side.
"Ma'am!"
The man lost his grip.
That was enough.
I twisted my body sharply and kicked the second guard away.
Then I ran toward Hannah.
"Mask!"
She tossed it.
I caught it mid-air.
Then I slid it onto my face.
Click.
The world turned grey through the visor.
The familiar calm spread through my body.
Now the fight really started.
I stepped forward.
A man rushed at me with a metal pipe.
I dodged.
Grabbed his wrist.
Twisted.
CRACK.
He screamed and dropped the pipe.
Another one tried to tackle me.
I jumped sideways and slammed him into the wall.
Nathan shouted from behind.
"Clear the corridor!"
Security guards pushed forward.
The fight moved deeper into the mansion.
And then—
I saw them.
At the end of the hallway.
Behind iron bars.
Keifer.
Yuri.
Ci-N.
Felix.
David.
Blaster.
Rory.
Everyone.
They were tied to chairs.
Unconscious.
My heart jumped.
"Keifer!"
I started running toward them.
Then suddenly—
A voice shouted.
"Jay! Behind you!"
I turned instantly.
Too late.
Something hard slammed into my forehead.
CLANG.
Pain exploded through my head.
My vision blurred.
The hallway spun.
The floor rushed up toward me.
My knees collapsed.
The last thing I saw was the security team rushing forward and Hannah screaming my name.
Then everything went dark.
