Twin-sail Armed Ship — 300 EXP pointsSiege Trebuchet — ……Standard Valyrian Steel Blade — 100 EXP points

Lynn walked out of the cabin and back onto the deck, sweeping away the gloom that had weighed on him earlier.

Although the points were expensive, counting the short blade at his waist, if necessary, he could instantly exchange for ten Valyrian weapons.

Killing a wight trapped at sea should be more than enough.

Now, the Ironborn who were still making their last stand had once again become the greatest threat.

The pirate ship gradually approached the battlefield.

Ahead were the two medium-sized fishing boats under Harry Kane's command, currently locked in combat with an Ironborn sailing ship.

It was unclear whether their arrows had already run out.

At this moment, the three ships were lined up side by side, connected to one another by grappling hooks.

A choking stench of blood spread across the sea, carried by the wind straight into Lynn's nostrils.

The boarding battle between the fishing boats and the Ironborn ship had already begun.

Lynn watched the scene not far away—collapsed sails, splintered wood exploding outward, flesh and blood flying, wails rising everywhere, and from time to time, someone wounded falling into the sea.

Debris burned on the deck, black smoke billowing. The Ironborn ship's deck and railings had suffered varying degrees of damage.

Rodart observed the battle and asked Lynn, "My lord, should we board as well?"

Lynn did not answer. There was still a short distance to go—he wanted to see the overall situation clearly before making a decision.

His gaze shifted backward.

Three of the Ironborn's five ships had already run aground along the shoreline.

The distance was too great.

The situation there was unclear—perhaps they were regrouping on the coast, or perhaps they were being entangled by corpses and White Walkers.

Lynn guessed silently.

His eyes flickered as he looked toward the dock.

Faintly, he could see that the ambush troops of the Xiao Cavalry Regiment on the pier had nearly pushed their formation all the way to the gangplank of the first Ironborn ship.

Corpses were piled up on the dock into small hills—almost every half meter, there stood a heap of bodies nearly half a man tall.

Judging by the figures still moving,

of the more than eighty soldiers assigned to the ambush, fewer than twenty were likely still alive.

The final elegy of life was being played.

Goudan was still alive.

His body was covered in bloodstains. Of the second formation, only he remained.

The third and fourth echelons behind him had all been wiped out.

Now, fighting shoulder to shoulder with him were brothers from the fifth echelon of the Xiao Cavalry Regiment.

And beyond them, there would be no reinforcements.

The battle was unimaginably brutal.

Nearly half of Goudan's left arm had been shaved away by a sailor's blade.

The wound was a mangled mess of flesh and blood, exposed white bone hanging half-free, his arm drooping uselessly.

He clenched his teeth and continued swinging with his right hand. His great saber had already been replaced with a broadsword.

His previous weapon had been chopped too deeply into an Ironborn's shoulder and could no longer be pulled free.

Lynn withdrew his gaze once more. The first battlefield was right in front of them now.

"Xiao Cavalry Regiment, heed my command!"

"Hu—hu—!"

As Lynn's voice fell, the burst troops who had just returned from plundering Biting Bay let out a howl. They knew that their Xiao Cavalry brothers were fighting in a sea of blood. To fight for their master, to fight for their Xiao Cavalry brothers—this was the burning desire in their hearts at this moment.

The hundred-man Xiao Cavalry Regiment that Rodart had taken away earlier had encountered no effective resistance at Biting Bay, and their combat strength remained intact.

Lynn waved his hand decisively.

"Prepare to board!"

"Yes!"

"My lord's order—prepare for battle!"

The Xiao Cavalry soldiers aboard the pirate ship roared in unison.

Lynn turned to Rodart, who was fully armed and ready to move, and instructed him, "I'll leave this place to you and Harry Kane. Take all the infantry and go reinforce them. Remember one thing—fight fast and decisively. After taking the Ironborn ship, thoroughly search every part of it. If you find any trace of wights or White Walkers, use my short blade to cut off their heads, then sink them straight into the sea."

Those blue-eyed monsters—aside from fire, knocking off their heads should put them down, but the exact damage standards were unclear.

After all, methods for killing White Walkers—besides dragonglass and Valyrian weapons—were techniques mastered only by the Night King.

Lynn did not want to take risks. He untied the Valyrian short blade from his waist and handed it to Rodart.

Rodart accepted it solemnly and nodded.

At this moment, the pirate ship circled past the fishing boats and formally prepared to board the Ironborn ship from the other side.

At close range, Lynn could clearly see the scene aboard the ship—a twin-sail Ironborn vessel riddled with arrows, utterly devastated.

Xiao Cavalry archers and Ironborn sailors were locked in close-quarters combat. The numerically superior Xiao Cavalry tangled with the small number of Ironborn sailors, forming a chaotic melee.

For the moment, neither side held the advantage.

Lynn scanned the deck and did not see any sign of wights. However, the hatch leading down to the cabin was sealed shut—whether blue-eyed monsters lurked below was unknown.

The pirate ship drew closer.

Boarding began.

The Xiao Cavalry infantry hurled out ropes, each ending in a hook, which caught onto the enemy ship's rigging and masts to aid in boarding.

Archers aboard the ship provided covering fire.

Using the ropes, the infantry swung agilely onto the enemy deck, beginning a clash of curved blades.

"For the Xiao Cavalry Regiment!"

"Demacia!"

"Kill!"

Broadswords, scimitars, roars, bodies splashing into the sea.

The cacophony fused together, forging a war song of blood and fire.

The archers loosed a volley. Arrows flew, and several Ironborn sailors who had rushed to the railing to cut the grappling hooks were instantly turned into pincushions, screaming as they collapsed onto the deck.

Rodart swung across on a cable and landed on the opposing ship.

Without the slightest mercy, he drew his blade in one smooth motion and cut down an Ironborn sailor who charged at him. Yet the ferocious Ironborn showed no fear of the blood pouring from his abdomen. With a savage grin, he watched the red blood splash across the deck and continued to charge forward.

Rodart fought desperately, holding his ground until more Xiao Cavalry infantry boarded the ship.

Only a little over sixty sailors remained on the enemy vessel. Because the mast had been broken and lay横 across the center of the ship, it separated Harry Kane and the Xiao Cavalry archers he led from the rest of the battlefield, forming a natural barrier.

Now, with the infantry from Lynn's pirate ship boarding, the balance of battle was completely shattered.

Shouts, the clash of blades, and screams poured relentlessly into Rodart's ears.

Harry Kane finally seized the opportunity, leading the archers—now reduced to close-combat troops—to vault over the fallen mast.

They pushed their formation halfway across the deck.

Using a sailor's scimitar he had picked up, Harry Kane blocked a thrust from a trident aimed at Rodart and shouted loudly, "Hey, Rodart! Watch your side!"

Rodart twisted his body and swung his blade in one fluid motion, cutting down the sailor wielding the trident.

Instead of thanking him, he cursed back:

"Damn it, Harry! With so many men in your archer regiment, you still couldn't take this ship? You had to wait for us to come reinforce you. The master is watching the battle from the ship—tell your pansy soldiers to fight a bit more bravely!"
