Chapter 17 - Chapter 18 Gatomon's Betrayal?

In the shadowy depths of Daniel's villa base, even the blazing midday sun of summer couldn't penetrate the thick fog enveloping the property. The intermittent flickering lights inside the house only added to the eerie, terrifying atmosphere.

Several white-robed Phantomon drifted silently outside the villa, their ghostly presence enough to send anyone fleeing in terror. After all, Daniel's elite guard was led by SkullBaluchimon and his legion of spectral warriors.

"The Crest of Light belonging to Hikari must be hidden on Myotismon. He's paranoid—he wouldn't leave something so important lying around carelessly!"

Wizardmon whispered to Gatomon as they approached the villa.

"Then you'll distract the Phantomon outside. Myotismon gave strict orders—no one disturbs his rest, not even me or DemiDevimon!"

"I understand. Be careful inside."

Wizardmon nodded.

"Don't worry. No one knows Myotismon's habits better than I do."

Gatomon stepped forward casually. As expected, a Phantomon blocked her path.

"Myotismon-sama ordered no disturbances. Gatomon, you'll have to wait until he wakes."

"We're here to relieve you. Look!"

Wizardmon raised his right hand, releasing a soft yellow glow that struck the Phantomon. The creature's eyes glazed over, its mind fogging.

"Huh... why am I still here?"

"Go rest. You've earned it."

Wizardmon's hypnosis took hold effortlessly.

"Yeah... you're right. Thanks for covering."

The Phantomon drifted away.

Once it was gone, Gatomon slipped inside the villa. Wizardmon took up the guard post outside.

"Myotismon's room should be this one... hope it's not locked!"

The villa was enormous—it took Gatomon nearly fifteen minutes to locate the master bedroom.

She twisted the handle gently. It turned. Breathing a sigh of relief, she pushed the door open and crept inside.

The room was vast—easily a hundred square meters. On the left stood a massive five- or six-meter-wide bed. Around it were priceless antiques, valuable oil paintings... the furnishings alone were worth a fortune.

On the bed, someone lay beneath the sheets. Though covered, Gatomon knew it could only be Myotismon—still resting.

Tension made sweat bead on Gatomon's fur. She moved slowly, her small paws careful not to make a sound as she leaped onto the bed. With a delicate claw, she lifted a corner of the sheet and slipped underneath.

To find the hidden Crest, she'd have to search every inch of Myotismon's body carefully.

Just as she crawled in, her paw brushed something soft and elastic.

"What... what is this? So soft..."

Curiosity pulled her deeper. Though dark under the sheets, her sharp feline eyes pierced the gloom.

What she saw made her freeze.

There weren't just one—but two naked bodies entwined beneath the covers. One was Myotismon, her master. The other... Lillymon!

*Where did she come from? She didn't cross over with us...*

The two looked intimately close. Lillymon—pure and ethereal as a fairy—lay atop Myotismon, arms wrapped tightly around him, unwilling to let go. Their position was strange: Myotismon's thick, rigid member was buried deep inside Lillymon's body.

It seemed he had released her for dual cultivation—to restore his soul energy.

Gatomon's paw had landed on Lillymon's smooth thigh—mere centimeters from where their bodies joined.

*Focus... find the Crest first. I'll be his enemy soon anyway.*

Gatomon pushed down her swirling emotions and scanned Myotismon's body. He wore nothing; the Crest couldn't be on him.

It had to be on the scattered clothes and petals beside the bed. Gatomon shifted her gaze—

—but at that moment, Lillymon rolled over.

Her small, delicate body slid to Myotismon's right. With the movement, Myotismon's thick shaft slipped free from her depths.

It sprang upward—slapping directly against Gatomon's face.

The shaft was still slick with his release and Lillymon's fragrant nectar.

"What... is this?"

Curiosity overtook her. Gatomon instinctively licked the glistening fluid from her cheek. The taste exploded on her tongue—sweet floral nectar mixed with a musky, salty tang. It was delicious... especially that intoxicating musk.

She swallowed, heat pooling between her own legs.

*Damn it... if Myotismon wakes up now—*

Gatomon forced herself to focus, searching the scattered clothes frantically.

But no matter how thoroughly she looked, the Crest was nowhere to be found.

*Where could it be? I've checked everywhere. He wouldn't keep something this important away from his body...*

Panic rose. If she didn't find it now, there'd be no chance later.

"Are you looking for this?"

Myotismon's voice cut through the silence like ice.

The sheet was suddenly yanked away.

There he lay—naked, smirking coldly, holding the glowing Crest of Light in his right hand.

He had anticipated this. The Crest—and Gatomon's holy ring—had been safely stored in the Ring of Dominion.

"Gatomon... trying to steal my Crest? Planning to betray me?"

His piercing gaze bored into her, as if he could see every secret in her soul.

Gatomon froze, trembling under that stare. She felt utterly exposed, every thought laid bare.

"Myotismon... I..."

Her voice faltered.

Daniel's smile widened—dangerous, knowing.

"You thought you could sneak in while I rested? How disappointing."

He sat up slowly, the sheets falling away to reveal his powerful, naked form. Lillymon stirred beside him, still half-asleep, her body glistening from their earlier union.

Gatomon backed away instinctively, but the bed was too vast—she had nowhere to run.

"You've been loyal... until now," Daniel said softly. "But loyalty can be tested. And betrayal... has consequences."

He reached out, the blood whip forming in his hand.

Gatomon braced herself.

But instead of striking, Daniel simply smiled.

"Run if you want. Or stay... and face what comes next."

The room fell silent—except for Lillymon's soft breathing and the distant hum of the fog outside.

The game had just begun.
