The First Time Outside
Training ended the way it usually did.
With adults talking over each other.
Lyra was standing nearby with the hand towel so she could give it to Aurelion when he gets tired and sweaty.
Aurelion was holding his wooden sword and doing his usuals sword practice swings while Aurex and Selene were standing in the corridor near the practice yard.
"I am telling you." Aurex said,pointing at Aurelion's feet.
Selene folded her arms and pouted.
"And, I am telling you that stance comes from Imbuing Mana in his body."
"Also, that good balance is not exclusive to swinging swords."
Velorian pretended that he was reading a book and ignored the whole situation.
Imperial Commander Seraphine simply sighed.
Aurelion finally heard the whole commotion and noticed them.
The couple was still too busy to prove their points.
He waited for a moment.
Then another.
"Not again" he said, shaking his head.
He thought DAMN, I'M BORED.
He slipped away while Aurex and Selene continued talking, their voices could still be heard from the corridor.
Aurelion had learned one thing from his Palace life experience.
It was that if you walk confidently, people will always assume you are supposed to be there and not ask any questions.
He took the hand towel from Lyra.
"Lyra, follow me outside."
Lyra bowed down a little and moved her eyes down a little in acknowledgement.
She followed him outside.
"Your highness." She gestured as asking what he wanted to say.
"Lyra, I want to go out." Aurelion said, finally.
Lyra blinked.
Then, thought for it.
"Out? As in Outside the Palace?" she asked.
"Yes, please prepare for it."
She hesitated.
"That would require Permission, Your Highness."
"I know, " Aurelion replied and then added
"Which is why we won't ask." With a cunning smile.
"Ohh right, Prepare fast, we'll make run for it before they end their argument."
Lyra sighed and went towards the castle stairs.
After a little while.
Lyra came back.
"Your highness, I have packed all the things which we need."
"Good job, Lyra. Okay, let's go now."
"But, Your highness. What about the Guards?"
"Oh, don't worry about that. Most of them haven't seen me yet, Lyra."
Aurelion then bypasses through security Gates without being notice while being subtly suspicious.
Aurelion Walkthrough a narrow Street so he doesn't get notice by the palace guard, although he was sure they won't able to recognize him, he was still being careful about it.
After a while, they entered a nice market kind of area.
This was the first time Aurelion looked at this world in a visionary and practical sense. He was very excited and happy to see what this world has to offer.
Lyra gave some sort of intro to him. She told him about how the commoners do their day to day activities and go with their trading, buying and selling through these channels.
The market was a little medieval age looking, they had carpets hanging above the wooden cards to block sunlight also, many of them had shop names carved into a wooden board and placed them into the ground.
Aurelion walked a little further and the food stalls started appearing.
"Oh yes, that's what I was looking for." He expressed in excitement.

Lyra chuckled a little.
Then, she went on explaining to him what the local delicacies were all about.
"Oh lemme try this."
"This one looks good, too."
"This is definitely the best one."
"Maybe not, this one hits different."
"Hits, Your Highness?" Asked Lyra.
"Oh nothing, you won't get it, you are not as DOPE as me."
Lyra was now even more confused, she tried to figure out what he meant but then thought let's just focus on the desserts.
Aurelion saw a whole new version of Lyra today. Unlike her usual self, right now, she was just a little girl who liked eating sweet things.
Aurelion was enjoying everything but suddenly a thought hit him.
"I think, this would taste better with Cola."
MAN, I AM MISSING SNACKS BACK FROM MY HOME. He thought.
"That Corn dog, candy apple, macarons, hot dogs and the best of all, caffeinated drinks."
He sighed in disappointment.
While he was thinking all of this, he heard some loud noises.
There was a commotion with a huge crowd just a little further from where they were standing.
Lyra and Aurelion went forward to check what was happening.
They saw many people standing circling around someone.
Lyra put Aurelion on her shoulder so that he could see better.
There he saw, in the midst of the crowd, there were three people. One was a very wealthy looking man, a little fat and he looked angry too.
In front of him were two children both blue haired, the elder had dark blue hair with blackish strips and was standing with his left knee down while shielding the little girl behind him. The little girl on the other hand had nice, pretty, sapphire blue hair and was looking very scared.
Now, this was a compelling situation.
Aurelion was both observant and curious about the situation.
Now, which thread of fate will this bind with him.
