The kitchen curtain was pulled aside, and Naruto emerged, carrying two steaming, vibrant dishes. One was Sweet and Sour Pork, its bright red glaze shimmering under the lamp, the tangy aroma instantly sharpening the appetite. The other was Stir-fried Pork with Green Peppers, releasing a savory, smoky scent that filled the room.

"Just a little longer," Naruto said with a smile. He placed the dishes on the small table and ducked back into the kitchen, where the rhythmic sounds of high-heat stir-frying immediately resumed.

"It smells so good, Big Sister!" Hanabi, her exhaustion replaced by a predatory hunger, pounced into Hinata's lap like a small cannonball. She wriggled restlessly, her head straining to see the table.

Hinata caught her sister, and though she couldn't help but secretly swallow, she patted Hanabi's back. "Be good, Hanabi. We'll eat together once Naruto-kun is ready." Her gaze drifted toward the dishes. She was struck by the professional color and aroma; her admiration for Naruto—and her anticipation for the meal—swelled.

Naruto soon emerged again, carrying two large, overflowing bowls. He had dipped into the pre-prepared reserves his Shadow Clone had started, ensuring there was more than enough for three.

In the center of the table, he placed Steamed Shredded Carrots mixed with flour and seasoned with sesame oil and minced garlic—soft, glutinous, and subtly sweet. Beside it, he set a massive bowl of Braised Noodles with Green Beans and Shredded Pork, the rich sauce coating every strand.

Knowing Hinata's hidden, legendary appetite, he also brought out a plate of warm, plain steamed buns. He meticulously arranged the milk and chopsticks for the sisters. Then, sitting down, Naruto clasped his hands together.

"I'm going to eat!"

"I'm going to eat!" Hanabi echoed in a joyful, childish voice, her chopsticks already diving in. The small apartment was suddenly transformed into a sanctuary of warmth and life.

In the cold, cavernous dining room of the Hyuga Main Residence, the atmosphere was a stark contrast.

Hyuga Hiashi sat perfectly upright before a table of exquisite, yet cooling, dishes prepared according to the clan's rigid etiquette. He waited in silence. A moment passed. The designated mealtime had come and gone, yet his daughters remained absent.

Hiashi's brow furrowed. His authoritative gaze swept toward the maid responsible for Hanabi. "Have the young ladies not arrived?"

The maid bowed low, her voice trembling. "Lord Patriarch... they have not returned since the afternoon."

Hiashi's eyes narrowed. Hinata occasionally lingered outside to clear her head—a trait he viewed as a sign of her weak constitution—but Hanabi was always regular. For both to be missing simultaneously without a word was a breach of discipline he could not ignore.

A faint, cold unease spread through him. He stood abruptly, his wide sleeves fluttering. "I will find them myself."

His paternal intuition and rational analysis worked in tandem. He knew his daughters had few friends. Almost instantly, the residence of the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki flashed in his mind. Despite his reservations about the boy, he knew the connection existed. He strode out of the compound, his face like a mask of iron.

When Hiashi reached the apartment and knocked, the door was opened by a startled Hinata.

Father and daughter froze. Hinata's face lost every trace of color, her Byakugan eyes widening in sheer shock.

"Big Sister, who is it? Is it one of Big Brother Naruto's friends?" Hanabi called out from the sofa. She was lying back, contentedly rubbing a belly that was now round and full. She turned her head lazily, only to see the tall, somber figure of her father silhouetted against the orange glow of the setting sun.

Hinata offered a smile that looked more like a grimace of resignation as she opened the door fully. Hiashi stood like a statue of judgment, his long shadow stretching deep into the apartment.

Naruto, wearing an apron and with dishwashing foam still on his hands, poked his head out from the kitchen. "Is that Kiba...?"

The words died in his throat. Naruto's posture turned reserved and sharp as he recognized the patriarch. Damn it, Naruto thought, his mind racing. I was so focused on analyzing the chakra flow of their Gentle Fist that I forgot the clock. The Old Man is here.

Hiashi didn't waste a second on pleasantries. The veins around his eyes bulged as he activated his Byakugan. The world turned to shades of grey and chakra-blue as he swept the room.

He saw the empty plates, his younger daughter sprawled lazily on a commoner's sofa, and his elder daughter trembling before him. He saw Naruto—the boy feared by the village—standing in a domestic apron.

"My daughters," Hiashi said, his voice terrifyingly calm and devoid of emotion, "have truly caused you trouble."

The words dropped into the room like a stone into a deep, silent well.
