A long-dormant weight of guilt began to spread through Hiashi's heart. He looked at the empty dishes on the table and felt he had failed Hinata, this gentle, quiet child.

To some extent, Hinata's current lack of confidence had been a result of his own silent "cultivation." In a few years, according to the rigid laws of the Hyuga, it would be time to brand his second daughter, Hanabi, with the Caged Bird Seal.

Hiashi was desperate to prevent the tragedy of his own generation from repeating. He still saw his brother Hizashi's face in his dreams—the brother who bore the seal, became a member of the Branch House, and ultimately died in Hiashi's place. Wasn't one such tragedy enough for one family?

At this moment, Hiashi did not yet hold absolute control over the clan; the Council of Elders, all his seniors, still wielded the power of tradition like a whip. Thus, he had resorted to a risky, paternal gambit. He had allowed Hinata to appear "weak" and "unstable," while subtly highlighting Hanabi's brilliance. His goal was to lobby the Elders, arguing that since the first-born was so fragile, the talented second-born must remain unsealed to ensure the clan's future leadership.

It was the only perilous path he could devise. Those old fogeys in the Council had survived their own struggles and now functioned only as exploiters, unable to empathize with the youth. Hiashi was gambling on time—waiting for the Elders to pass away so he could seize absolute power and abolish the cruel system entirely.

...Thank you, Naruto-kun.

Hiashi exhaled a breath he seemed to have been holding for years. He spoke solemnly. "Your words have given me much to consider. When I return, I will... rethink how I instruct Hinata."

He looked toward the window. In his eyes, the magnificent Hyuga compound was nothing more than a gilded prison. Countless "birds" with the Byakugan were born there, grew up there, and died there, never knowing true flight. The Caged Bird Seal might have started as a protective measure in the warring eras to keep the Byakugan out of enemy hands, but over centuries of peace, it had mutated into a tool of internal oppression and privilege.

"It's late. I won't bother you further, Naruto-kun," Hiashi said, rising. "Hinata, Hanabi, it's time to go home."

His voice was no longer the icy blade it had been upon his arrival. It carried a hint of gentleness—and perhaps, a trace of relief.

The bedroom door opened. Hinata and Hanabi emerged, still holding hands. Hinata bowed low to Naruto, her voice soft but steady. "Naruto-kun, goodbye. Thank you for everything today."

"Goodbye, Big Brother Naruto!" Hanabi chirped, waving vigorously. "I'm coming back to eat your food next time!"

After the door closed, Naruto let out a long, weary sigh.

The Ninja World... this place is truly too exhausting to complain about.

The cycles of tragedy, the archaic constraints, and the sheer helplessness of people caught in the gears of tradition were enough to make anyone feel powerless. But as he sat there, that feeling was replaced by a cold, sharp determination. If the world is broken, I will simply become strong enough to break the rules.

He returned to his room and sat cross-legged. He didn't sleep. Instead, his mind began to replay every second of the sparring match with Hinata and Hanabi. He analyzed the Gentle Fist—the precise application of force, the unique chakra circulation, and the striking of acupoints.

The Gentle Fist was ingenious, but it wasn't the peak. The ultimate evolution of this style was a technique that transcended common sense: the Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack (Yasogami Kūgeki).

Used by Kaguya Otsutsuki, it refined chakra to the point of materializing countless fists that functioned as both an absolute shield and a devastating assault. It was a Kekkei Mōra—a power beyond even the Bloodline Limits.

Naruto knew that in the future, when the Otsutsuki invaded from the stars, conventional Ninjutsu would be useless; the Rinnegan would simply absorb it. But Taijutsu and Senjutsu (Sage Art) were different. Taijutsu relied on physical velocity and mass, while Senjutsu utilized natural energy that couldn't be easily neutralized.

Developing a simplified, elemental "Vacuum Attack" based on the Gentle Fist was more than just a training goal. It was a strategic reserve. He was preparing for a war that hadn't even started yet—a battle for the survival of the world itself.
