~Jade's POV~
By the next morning, due
Due to the request the student council put in with the Principal, Principal Vale had decided for all classes to commence at the usual time and from the hours of twelve till the close of school.
By midmorning, the academy had shifted into something that felt different from any regular school day.
Principal Vale made the official announcement during the first period, and by the time the second period started, the energy on campus had changed completely. Something had woken up in the student body, something old and instinctive, the kind of restless hunger that came from wolves being told the hunt was finally on.
The week would run five stages across five days.
Day One was tracking. Day Two was combat. Day Three was an endurance trial. Day Four was strategy. Day Five was the final ceremonial round, where the top two scorers would face each other directly.
