Adele's heart leaped when she spotted him through the car window. Harry!
He was standing on the corner looking at his phone. Maybe his trip got cancelled? Maybe he came back early?
A smile spread across her face. This was perfect, she could surprise him!
"Uncle Davi," Adele said her hand already reaching to unbuckle her seatbelt. "Drop me here, please."
Mr.Davison glanced at her in the rearview mirror, surprised. "Here, Princess? But we're not at the castle yet—"
"I know. I just—" Adele's smile widened. "I saw someone I know. I want to say hello."
"Princess, I really should drive you all the way—"
"I'll be fine. I promise." Adele was already reaching for the door handle, her excitement making her unusually bold. "If it gets too late, I'll call you to come pick me up. But I'll manage." She was confident that Harry will help her out.
"Are you certain?"
"Yes. Thank you, Uncle Davi!"
