[3rd POV]
With the final full day in Paris over and done with, the two had returned to their hotel. That night, the last night in Paris, they had spent around an hour packing everything up and getting ready for tomorrow. They did this so that they did not need to waste a ton of time the next day in order to leave.
They wanted to have everything ready, so once they woke up, took showers, and got properly dressed, they could head out. Neither of them were particularly interested in being late to the airport, and neither of them wanted to keep their family waiting for too long.
So, in the next morning they had woken up bright and early, pretty much the moment that the sun had arisen in the skies above. The two had taken a shower...together, and then got dressed night and comfy. Nothing crazy or fancy looking.
Well, beyond Billie's watch, but she was wearing that pretty much everywhere now. The watch was just way too expensive for her not to wear it. Sure, she was going to have a proper watch collection in the coming months, but she was not going to be one of those collectors that does not actually wear them.
She thought that if you are going to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars, if not millions, on a watch, then you should at least wear it. Because sure, it might look beautiful and be a work of art, but not wearing something that you literally paid for? Yeah, that was weird in her mind.
Billie did understand that not all hobbies that involved collecting were the same of course. Pokemon was one of the big ones that she knew of, since personally she knew how to play the game, but she just liked the look of the cards. It was fun to open packs every once in a while and add the good ones into her collection.
The rest were either saved if they were worth enough to be traded, or they were saved up to be donated to those that would actually use said cards for playing the TCG game. She had also of course played the actual game, and had beaten all of them at least once.
Her personal favorite had been XY. She loved Kalos and Mega Evolutions. That and Greninja is the most badass final evolution for a starter Pokemon.
Way better than Charizard.
Anyways.
Billie and Haley had left the hotel after around an hour of being awake. After they had a proper shower, and had prepared everything, making sure that they had everything ready to go. Neither of them wanted to accidentally leave anything behind or anything like that, as they would never see it again if they did.
They ended up having to pack up around 5 suit cases. Which thankfully was not a problem for them or the private jet. They could take like 10 suit cases and it would not be a problem. Although they would have to get their food checked and all of that, they had already put them all in two specific suit cases, and even labeled all of them.
They liked to make life easier for others when they could, so they had all the information that was needed inside once they looked it over. Both in French and English so that they could check it back in the US and France.
Currently they were sitting in the back of the car on the way to the airport. They had coffee in their hands. They had actually gotten two each and put them into large cups with straws. This way they would stay cold for around 24 hours or so.
They really really liked the coffee.
"Should we tell the family that we're heading home?" Haley asked, as Billie looked over at her with a hum before shaking her head.
"Nah. We won't be at the airport for another thirty minutes or so. And then it'll take another 30 minutes to get onto the jet itself. The actual flight will be like 10 hours or something, so I think it'd be better to just surprise them or something. Too many "Variables" when it comes to timing" Billie replied with a shake of her head.
"Makes sense. Where'll we go first?" Haley questioned, making Billie shrug.
"I don't know. We'll have to decide that when we get there. Maybe we do a group call or something and find out where they're all at to decide where to go first. If not we could just start with Mitchell and Cam. Mitchell's good at covering stuff up" Billie replied with a shrug.
"So we're going to ask my dad about helping find a house, right? Well, at least once we tell them about us moving in together at least" Haley asked, as it was a pretty important question.
"Oh yeah definitely. But we'll be having a rather long conversation with your mom first, as I would rather not do it without telling her. And I sure as hell do not want to get her mad at me" Billie replied with a nod, knowing that Claire was...
Well, she was scary.
The woman could be VERY vindictive, and was very well known for holding grudges for like...forever.
She still has a grudge on the mail man that accidentally dropped off a package at another address.
That was four years ago.
So yeah, if Claire was to find out that they were going to buy a house together, and then move in together...well, Billie had a feeling that she would be the recipient of a shit ton of glares if she did not make absolutely certain to tell the woman.
"Yeah I don't either. I still get shivers when I remember the look she gave me in 5th grade" Haley replied, remembering the time her mother had pretty much looked at her like she had kicked a puppy when she had told her that the school project that they had worked on together for five hours, had gotten a failing grade.
That wasn't the scary part.
The scary part was the expression she made afterwards, when she was told that the teacher had told her that it was "Rather Ugly".
Yeah that teacher had gotten yelled at quite a lot. And Haley had gotten looked at like she was a maniac thanks to what her mom had done.
There were a LOT more situations that she remembered. Her mom could be scary to an overbearing level.
"You definitely need to tell me more stories about some of the crazy shit your mom has been up to" Billie replied, really interested to learn more.
With that conversation over and done with, they soon began to just enjoy each others company as they drove towards the airport.

After around forty five minutes of driving (thanks to traffic making it longer), they had made it to the airport. And then after another 30 minutes or so was to actually get through security and all of that. It had been a bit annoying to get through, because of the food.
But they had gotten it done with.
And soon after, they had loaded up and onto the private jet. The two of them cuddled up, gazing out of the window as they saw Paris slowly grow distant from them.
All the while, Billie had only one thought on her mind.
'Goodbye Paris!'
