They entered the Halls and saw numerous adventurers doing some quests and some arrived with a sack of loots. Some of them came from their missions. They all saw them in tired shape as they traveled from afar.
Their guide then introduced himself, "I am Des, I work as a guide from the transporters."
He approached the front table and introduced them to the counter lady. "Hello Ella, this are the new batch of heroes."
"Hello Ella, please take good care of us!" They slightly bowed.
"Hello everyone, I will take good care of you and will make sure your registration are handled efficiently." She said then gave them some papers to fill in with the details.
"Please fill up the forms and we will proceed with stat evaluation." She instructed.
Ren then grabbed one paper and then he filled it up. They soon finished with their informations and then they proceeded to the next test.
It was called Stat measurement and they were eager to see how strong they were, their latent and raw potential with some of their abilities or what not.
Ren saw the bright eyes of some of them and he knew they were excited too.
Upon exchanging glances, he was the only one who as not partied yet. Though it could wait. At the moment, he has to have high stats. But what if it was not so good? Well, he could just pray or rely on luck. If he was weak then he could get stronger.
They soon finished with their papers and they proceeded to the stat measurement halls. They left the lobby and then went to their next testing area.
"The stat measurement halls are in this room. I will guide you personally and handle the tests of our future heroes." Ella said to them.
"Thank you so much Ella for the extra effort." Des said to her.
"It's fine, we will benefit from them also." Ella said to him.
Des accompanied them and they entered the room. It was a white room with a single crystal ball inside at the center. They all lined up to test one by one. They have to wait for their turn.
Ren also was waiting in line. He has to wait patiently as they tests them of their potential. As he waited in line, he was far on queue. He will have to wait longer as estimated.
But from afar, he could see the first person to be tested. He was nervous and was stuttering when he spoke. Ella calmed him down.
"Put your hands on the crystal ball and then we will see your results." Ella said to him.
"O...o... okay!" He said and put his shaking hands on it. It felt to shine for a moment then they see a holographic screen and has characters engraved into it. The results were clear. They measured your stats by the means of numbers.

Agility: 4
Endurance: 7
Constitution: 5
Intelligence: 8
Health: 5
Stamina: 5
Mana: 9
....
They could see that it was stronger the later the numbers were. With that, they went to the next one.
The numbers did not exceed to double digits and they were tested one by one. They have potential and raw stats were already good.
Some of them have high results and they all began to get excited to see their turn. Especially Ren, he saw this one on games and he was excited to see his raw potential as him and not the character of his. He was also a gamer that finished multiple games such as Kingdom Buildings, Roguelites, War games, and RPGs. All thanks to being a shut in and introvert.
His turn was up and so he felt a sweat trickle down his face. He waited for his turn and so the moment he would face it was rewarding. He made the same action as per instructed. And put his hands on the crystal ball.
Then his result was up. He swallowed his saliva and closed his eyes. Opening it to see the result.

'Yes! They were all in high results!' Ren screamed inside his head.
Then he went back to the ones who are finished. They all were tested and the last one was the cocky kid. They were all shocked at his results.
"Hmm, it seemed he has a hero's constitution. Report this to the guild master. We have a hero constitution!" She shouted.
With that, Ren saw his results. It was in double digits.

They were all confused as to what the ruckus was about but it seemed they dug gold in a mines of clay. They finally had a hero to rely on saving them. With that, Ren gulped his saliva. He has to get stronger or he would be killed early in this Grim Dark World.
Being strong was not a sin and he knew that it was his saving grace. His fate will be on his hands and no one can decide it.
The guild was in chaos and it seemed that the cocky kid was their saviour that they waited. They announced that he would get higher privileges as he was a special person cut above the rest. Ren could only smirk and watch, he preferred low-key for now and then surprise them later on.
They immediately went to the recieving desk and waited for their Adventurer slates or card.
"Everyone, your slates contained your name, stats, class and class level, and adventurer rank. It will be dangled in a necklace for it to not lost or misplaced. Also, you will all start as F rankers and rise till the highest S ranks." Ella then gave them their Adventurer Slates ID and Ren received it.
He put it on his neck and then saw that he was an F rank indeed.
