Inside Faulust Museum.
Lyxander and Amethyst were still holding hands.
Several times Lyxander tried to pull his arm away. However, the power of a 3-Star was not to be underestimated. In the end, he could only reluctantly accept the situation.
As they walked, Lyxander let his gaze wander, staring at the museum's ceiling built with magnificent architecture. Even though the technology in this world had already surpassed Earth's, for some reason many elements from past eras were still preserved in society. One of the most obvious was the Victorian-style fashion, and the second was architecture.
Although Faulust had many skyscrapers, there were also plenty of buildings designed with ancient architectural styles, such as decorative pavements and garden fountains. One of the clearest examples was this very place — Faulust Museum.
The museum had three floors. It was first established in the year 1440, at the end of the War of the Nine Eternal Emperors, and had undergone a total of forty-seven renovations. Even so, it still managed to preserve its classic architectural style.
Of course, all this information came from Lyxander's collection of completely useless knowledge. Accessing all of it was like letting a waterfall pour straight into his mind — too fast, too overwhelming. Lyxander began to feel nauseous. He stopped walking and dropped weakly to his knees.
"Lyxander!" Amethyst immediately noticed. "Are you okay?" One of her hands moved to rub his back, while the other still held his hand tightly.
"It's nothing, just a slight headache."
"Then let's find somewhere to sit." Without waiting, Amethyst quickly helped him over to the nearest bench.
Lyxander sat down and leaned back, trying to stop the flood of information rushing through his brain.
"Do you want something to drink?" Amethyst asked.
"No need, it's just a small issue. Besides, sorry for ruining our date, especially since you paid a lot for this."
That sentence made Amethyst smile sharply. Her face flushed slightly, and her eyes darkened. She tightened her grip on both of Lyxander's hands.
"It's okay. I'm already very happy… that you tried to come even though you're not feeling well."
The hairs on the back of Lyxander's neck stood on end. He instantly regretted his words.
"By the way, why did you choose a museum? Aren't there other places like amusement parks or something?"
Amethyst blushed, covering part of her face. "Well… I heard you like history. So I thought it would be fun for you to come to a museum."
Lyxander was a little surprised. Setting aside her yandere tendencies, this woman was actually quite ideal wife material.
"You paid so much, and you still thought about what would make me happy? Alright then, I'll explain a few paintings for you." Lyxander stood up, this time the one who held Amethyst's hand.
"Let's go."
Amethyst's face turned red instantly. Seeing Lyxander take the initiative, she could only follow obediently like a kitten.
Lyxander first looked for a painting depicting the War of the Nine Eternal Emperors. The reason was simple: everyone knew about that war, so it would be easier to explain.
"Do you know this painting?" Lyxander asked.
They stood before a large painting dominated by black and white tones. It showed a black-armored emperor standing alone, his body pierced by a spear held by a white-armored knight.
Amethyst shook her head.
"This painting depicts the moment of death of the Black Emperor Tamisra. After his entire army had been wiped out, Tamisra stood alone without a horse, soldiers, or weapons. He stood by himself against tens of thousands of troops."
"Did he win?"
"No." Lyxander gave a faint smile.
"He died, but his death was one of the greatest — an emperor who died without soldiers."
Amethyst looked at the painting in awe. She grew curious about the stories behind the other paintings and soon pointed at another one.
"Then what's the story behind this one?"
It was a painting of a man with a clock for a head.
"Ah…" Lyxander was slightly stunned when he saw this painting. "Try looking more carefully at some of the other paintings."
Amethyst examined the previous painting closely again. Her pupils widened when she noticed the clock-headed man in it. Her gaze then moved to many other paintings. The clock-headed man appeared in a lot of them.
"How is that possible?" She was full of confusion.
"Do you know what all those paintings have in common? They all depict history," Lyxander explained.
"History?"
"The clock-headed man is a figure who appears in almost every historical record. He is known as Entity 00-000."
"How do you know that?" Amethyst was extremely shocked. Even she, a senior Raven, didn't know about the existence of Entity 00-000.
"Anyone who studies history on the internet knows about this Entity. I don't know who first called him that, but the fact is he appears in almost every record of human history."
In truth, Lyxander himself had only just learned it when the information surfaced in his mind.
Amethyst fell silent for a moment before pointing again. "Then what about this one?"
A painting of an upside-down astronaut, both palms pressed together as if praying.
"Oh!" A smile appeared on Lyxander's face. "This painting is quite famous on the internet. The first and only human to ever go into space."
"The only one?" Amethyst frowned.
Rumors about Lyxander's intelligence had already spread among the members of Division 5. She knew he was smart, but the knowledge he displayed was truly shocking. Didn't he know too much?
Lyxander studied the painting carefully again. "Yes, he's the only one."
"But why only him?"
Amethyst had grown up as an assassin. Most of her knowledge revolved around killing, so it wasn't strange that she was very curious.
Lyxander understood this. He felt quite happy to be able to explain the original Lyxander's useless knowledge. "Because the astronaut gave a warning not to explore the sky."
"Have you ever heard the saying, 'If you stare into the sky, the sky will stare back at you'?"
"Ah!" Amethyst's eyebrows rose.
"I know that one. Isn't it a famous quote?"
"That quote came from one of the astronaut's warnings. There were others too, like don't think about the sky, because the sky will think about you as well."
"Wait…" Lyxander froze. He suddenly realized something strange.
'Why have I never thought about what's above the sky?'
'Earth was destroyed, and they migrated to another planet.'
'Orochi came from Earth and arrived on this planet…!'
Lyxander's pupils widened.
'What's above the sky is—'
But before he could think any further, his thoughts were shattered by Amethyst's words.
"I wonder if the Astronaut was a 5-Star?"
"What… what do you mean?"
"I haven't told you yet, have I? One of the suitable conditions for a 5-Star Identity is becoming either a villain or a hero recorded in the Record of Akasha."
The 5-Star condition opened up before Lyxander, making him forget about the earlier anomaly.
