Chapter 32 - The Real Yuki-Onna, Yusa

The system had explicitly stated that his Status was extremely high; even facing an Evil God directly wouldn't cause him any harmful effects.

This was the reason he dared to make contact with the little Yuki-Onna's sister.

"Alright then, we'll be going." Yuigahama Yui lowered her head in disappointment.

Having said this much, they weren't idiots. Why would they continue to probe?

The deeper reasons were undoubtedly Kawashima Toya's secrets.

Toya watched the two girls leave with regret, then turned to the little Yuki-Onna beside him and spoke gently. "Let's go. I'll take you to see your sister."

Hearing about her sister, the little Yuki-Onna's fear dissipated considerably, though she still trembled slightly.

However, all this fear stemmed from Toya standing beside her.

As a yokai, her instinctive premonitions were far more sensitive than most humans.

She could clearly feel just how dangerous Toya was.

It felt as if he could kill her at any moment, if he so wished.

Toya smiled and didn't offer any further comfort.

He just needed to hand the little Yuki-Onna over to Yusa later; whatever happened after that had nothing to do with him.

Twenty minutes later.

Toya arrived at the meeting place with the little Yuki-Onna.

It was a remote suburban area. From a distance, one could see a breathtakingly cold and beautiful figure pacing anxiously.

The beautiful woman was dressed in a pure white kimono, fully displaying the gentleness and virtue of an adult Yuki-Onna.

The so-called Yamato Nadeshiko temperament was exactly like this.

Before Toya even got close, the chilling aura belonging to the Yuki-Onna wafted over.

In an instant, the area where the Yuki-Onna stood seemed to transform entirely into a freezing hell.

The aura of the legendary Yuki-Onna from ancient tales was displayed vividly.

If an ordinary person saw her, their mind would surely be entranced in an instant.

"As expected of a Yuki-Onna. It's a good thing I didn't let Yukinoshita Yukino and Yuigahama Yui tag along."

Toya exhaled a breath of cold air, sighing with emotion.

Just a silhouette caused such a commotion. Who knew what would happen if they met face-to-face?

[Name: Yuki-Onna (Yusa)]

[Strength: Fierce Rank]

[Description: A Yuki-Onna who has only recently reached adulthood, less than a century ago. Her looks, personality, and strength are all top-tier wife material.]

[Note: If the Host has any intentions, please act quickly. Once her strength increases to the next stage, she will be almost impossible to capture.]

Toya's face darkened slightly. "What intentions?"

"Even if Yusa is a newly adult Yuki-Onna, she's not something an ordinary person can handle."

He didn't continue dwelling on Yusa. Yuki-Onna were difficult to interact with; better to avoid it.

At least until he was strong enough, he should focus on training.

"Let's go. I'll take you to her." Toya silently activated his Mystic Eyes of Death Perception and led the little Yuki-Onna toward Yusa.

Not long after, Yusa, who had been pacing anxiously, sensed her sister's aura. A look of joy appeared on her beautiful face. "Sister!"

Guided by her little sister's aura, she looked over immediately, just in time to see Toya approaching with the little Yuki-Onna.

"Is he really human?"

"But why... why is that aura so terrifying?"

Yusa's clear, beautiful eyes gazed deeply into Toya's pure, azure eyes, and an overwhelming terror surged in her mind.

"This boy is not simple. He can kill me..."

"No, he's the benefactor bringing my sister home. I cannot harbor hostility."

She forced herself not to think ill of Toya, but the horror brought by those azure eyes made her uncontrollably fantasize about how she might be killed.

Amidst these almost uncontrollable, terrifying fantasies, Toya finally arrived with the little Yuki-Onna.

Toya gently released the little Yuki-Onna's hand and said warmly, "Go back. Go home with your sister."

"Don't run off next time. The Human World isn't a world for yokai anymore."

"If there is a next time, you might not be so lucky."

Freed from Toya's grasp, the little Yuki-Onna threw herself at her sister like a swallow returning to its nest, hugging her tightly.

Yusa gently stroked her little sister's head, soothing her. "Sister, you're not allowed to run off next time, okay?"

"It's fortunate that a kind big brother brought you back this time. Otherwise, I wouldn't have known where to look for you."

After comforting her sister, Yusa looked at Toya and bowed slightly. "Thank you so much. If not for your help, I would never have found my sister."

"It's fine." Toya waved his hand calmly. "No need for thanks. Returning to the Demon World as soon as possible is the best thanks."

Even as a veteran driver who had watched countless anime series—both mainstream and... otherwise—he had to admit that Yusa's beauty was stunning.

Her features were exquisite, as if meticulously carved. With her flawless, snowy skin and delicate figure, she was so beautiful it was hard to look away

A look of difficulty appeared on Yusa's exquisite face. "Even so, a favor must not be forgotten."

"Benefactor, before I take my sister back to the Demon World, please tell me your name."

"Kawashima Toya." Toya calmly stated his real name.

Yusa bowed again in gratitude. "Thank you very much, Kawashima-kun, for helping my sister. We will take our leave now."

She was well aware of the allure a Yuki-Onna held for humans.

Although Toya seemed unmoved by her charm, being seen by strangers would still invite trouble.

Returning to the Demon World as quickly as possible was the best solution.
