Six months after Raditz's arrival...
After Vegeta trained in the new gravity machine, Shallot and Yamcha, Tien and Chiaotzu were playing cards when Shallot shouts:
"Trick!" Shallot shouts.
Chiaotzu gets annoyed and says:
"You're stealing!" says Chiaotzu.
Shallot's reaction was one of fury, and he says:
"Stealing from me?!?! You tried to switch the cards with your psychic powers! You're the one cheating!" Shallot says angrily.
Tien gets annoyed and says:
"Chiaotzu can't face you, fight me!" Tien says.
Yamcha then proposes an alternative to the fight:
"Hey Shallot! How about we face you in the gravity machine? It will be a test to see how strong we are, wouldn't you agree?" Yamcha proposes.
Shallot realizes that this could be a great way to improve his martial arts skills, so he replies:
"Good idea, Yamcha! You've become stronger than before, and now at least you can withstand gravity up to 40 times. I'm sure you can defeat Nappa, or even Kakarot himself." Shallot replies.
Vegeta had exited the new gravity machine a few minutes ago, and it was now free to be used.
Shallot, Tien, Yamcha, and Chiaotzu enter the gravity machine.
Shallot activates gravity and adjusts it to 40 times, and Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu feel the pressure of gravity but manage to move with some difficulty.
Shallot begins to extend his arms, and the Z fighters stare in disbelief as if gravity no longer defies him.
Tien frowned at the scene and says:
"This guy is really strong! Vegeta must be even stronger now than he was before, thanks to the gravity machine." Tien says.
Yamcha laughs and says:
"It shouldn't be that difficult. If Shallot can do it, we can too; today the real training begins." Yamcha says.
Chiaotzu trembled with fear and says:
"It was just a card game, why all the violence? I was exchanging cards to help Tien." Chiaotzu says.
Shallot finishes stretching his arms and says:
"You have 120 seconds to cause me some damage, starting now!" Shallot says.
Tien unleashes his full power and charges towards Shallot, attempting to punch him, but Shallot easily dodges and says:
"Good try Tien, but you'll have to put in a little more effort." Shallot says.
Shallot delivers an uppercut to him, and he falls several meters.
Yamcha did something different; he realized that attacking Shallot head-on was useless, so he decided to use his new technique.
Yamcha channeled energy into his right fist, and yellow lightning bolts were emanating from it, drawing Shallot's attention due to Yamcha's unusual attack.
"I wasn't expecting that, Yamcha created a new technique, let's see if it's really that strong." Shallot says in thought.
Yamcha channels energy into his fist and shouts:
"Golden Wolf's Fist!!!!!" Yamcha shouts.
Thousands of punches hit Shallot, sending him flying several meters.
Shallot gets up, wipes the blood from his mouth with his hand, feels his fighting spirit improving, and says with a mischievous smile:
"Now you understand what I want, but there are still 90 seconds left and now I'm going to stop holding back." Shallot says.
Shallot then takes a deep breath and unleashes all his power.
"Haaaaaaaaaa"
Yamcha broke out in a cold sweat at Shallot's power; he was much stronger than he seemed.
Yamcha took a few steps back, his expression surprised and says:
"This Ki is overwhelming, you might even be stronger than Vegeta. But I won't give up that easily, bring it on! " Yamcha says.
Shallot uses his speed and delivers a kick that sends Yamcha crashing to the ground with blood pouring from his mouth.
Shallot looks at Chiaotzu and says:
"You still have 75 seconds to attack." Shallot says.
Chiaotzu's whole body trembled; he realized that charging forward had failed, attacking with energy blasts had also failed. He was the weakest of the Z Fighters; nothing he did would be effective.
Shallot punches Chiaotzu and knocks him unconscious.
Shallot then looks at Yamcha and Tien, who were getting up, their bodies trembling from the pressure.
"The wishes truly worked. Tien and Yamcha have more stamina than a human martial arts master. But they are still far from reaching their potential; the fight ends now. " Shallot says in thought.
Shallot uses his speed and delivers an uppercut to Tien and Yamcha, knocking them to the ground.
Shallot looks at them and sees that they are still breathing with great difficulty and he says:
"Well, you guys lasted longer than Chiaotzu, you were about 30 seconds short, the training ends here." Shallot says.
Shallot goes to the gravity machine's control panel and disables gravity.
Tien and Yamcha were still on the ground, but they were exhausted from training.
Shallot then throws two senzu beans in the direction of Tien and Yamcha.
They both chew the senzu beans and a few moments later they recover and they have "Zenkai".
Tien senses that his power has increased, but not close to Shallot's power.
Yamcha senses that his power has increased, approaching Shallot's power at 25%.
Shallot looks at them and says:
"You guys were great! I expected that after 40 seconds of training, you'd be passed out like Chiaotzu was. You should go talk to this Kami guy and see if he knows anyone who has techniques you could use. That's all for today! You can go back home." Shallot says.
Tien and Yamcha agreed; they needed a different kind of training, and only Kami could answer that question.
Yamcha says casually:
"I doubt you'd play a football match with me on the opposing team. Vegeta, for some mysterious reason, is a great football player; he managed to be a fantastic classic midfielder. I want to see you, Shallot. If you're as good at football as you are at fighting." Yamcha says.
Tien picks up Chiaotzu and takes him to the infirmary.
Yamcha exits the gravity machine, grabs his car keys from the table, and leaves the room to return home.
Tien and Yamcha won't be useless; they'll be a great help in solving future problems.
