Chapter 16 Aragami's internal fighting

He held the Chaos Axe and stood in the chaotic void. A few deities were drawn by this power and slowly approached.

A multi-headed worm-like Aragami emitted a mental fluctuation, "How was this weapon created?"

He did not conceal anything, conveying the method for creating the Chaos Axe through the whispers of chaos. This included: how to extract most of his own divine power, forcibly compress and bind the raging chaotic energy, and give it a crude yet effective form.

The method is extremely difficult and risky; the slightest mistake could lead to its own collapse.

But the few Arakan Gods were tempted by the possibility of new power. They began to experiment, and chaotic energy vortexes lit up a corner of the void, with painful roars echoing in the chaos.

Some of the wild gods failed, their energy spiraling out of control and exploding, injuring themselves; but one succeeded, condensing into a twisted spear.

The success stories spurred more observers. Gradually, a dozen or so Arameans began to follow Him, learning to forge their own chaotic weapons. He shared his knowledge without reservation, guiding them and imparting his experience. A small group centered around Him began to form.

However, this sight enraged the vast majority of traditional Arajin. Their very existence is the embodiment of chaos, rejecting any form of constraint or imitation.

"Traitor!" roared a colossal arakan, its size comparable to a small plane of existence, its body composed of countless churning rocks and lava. "You are learning from those weak gods! You have betrayed our very essence!"

"Hand over that axe!" another deity, like a mass of shadows, shrieked. "That is not something you should possess! It is the essence of chaos, belonging to all, not to be monopolized by you!"

Greed was the primary driving force. They sensed the astonishing destructive power of the Chaos Axe, its terrifying ability to tear apart space and sever laws.

They wanted to seize the axe, not to learn how to make it. The Aragami believed that whoever possessed that axe could become the king of the Aragami.

He raised the Chaos Axe and let out a warning roar. A dozen or so followers around him also brandished their newly formed, still unstable weapons and surrounded him.

The conflict erupted instantly.

The traditional Ara-gods, driven by instinct and sheer numbers, surged forth like a chaotic tide. They unleashed destructive torrents of energy, ramming with their massive bodies, attempting to overwhelm this small, rebellious group with sheer numbers.

He moved. The Chaos Axe cleaved out, a gray-black blade of light tearing through the void, directly splitting the energy torrent spewed out by the foremost Desolate God, the aftershocks even severing a part of the Desolate God's body.

The deity let out a painful howl, and its divine power rapidly drained from its wound.

His followers also began to fight back. They wielded crude weapons, and although their skills were clumsy, their compressed chaotic energy attacks were far more concentrated and powerful than their previous instinctive bursts of energy.

The chaotic spear pierced through the defenses of a wild god, leaving a hole in its body that was difficult to heal.

For the first time, the traditional Aragami encountered resistance that could not be easily crushed. The enemy's attacks were more capable of damaging their core. The chaotic charge came to a halt.

He did not pursue, but stood in front, the Chaos Axe radiating a chilling aura.

"Do you see that?" His will swept across the battlefield. "This is power. Power that has been mastered is far more powerful than power that has been blindly unleashed. Do you want it? If you want it, then create it yourself. Or, try again and see the price of taking it."

The aragami who wanted to seize it hesitated. They were greedy, but not entirely without wisdom. A direct charge would result in too many losses. The aragami wielding the axe, along with his followers carrying dangerous weapons, had already become a formidable force.

The colossal rock lava god roared in resentment, but it was the first to retreat. Seeing this, the other traditional gods also retreated into the depths of chaos, but their eyes remained fixed on Him and the Chaos Axe in His hand, their greed undiminished.

He knew this was only a temporary retreat. The threat was far from over.

He turned to his followers. Having been tested in battle, they were even more convinced. He began to "teach" them more systematically. He was no longer content with merely manufacturing weapons.

He roughly assigned "responsibilities" based on the characteristics of each follower. The one who conjured the spear, skilled in thrusting, was placed at the very front.

The other being, who conjured a shield-shaped weapon, was instructed to practice defense. He even began demonstrating simple teamwork techniques, such as attack and cover.

This process is more difficult than manufacturing weapons. The chaotic instincts of the Aragami vehemently resist this cooperation and constraint. Progress is slow, and squabbles and minor clashes of energy occur frequently.

But He persisted. He knew that once the traditional aborigines returned, they would be prepared. Although they refused to learn, they would instinctively seek more effective ways to attack, or... unite with more and stronger individuals.

In the chaotic void, two forces are in opposition. On one side is a small group led by Him, struggling to find a new path, weak but groping their way forward.

On the other side is the large and greedy traditionalists, who have temporarily retreated but are brewing an even more ferocious counterattack.

He gripped the Chaos Axe, gazing towards the prime material plane, where structures were clearly defined and lights shone brightly. His goal had never wavered.

But now, His first task is to carve a bloody path through this chaos and build an army powerful enough to overthrow everything. Unifying the gods of the wilderness is imminent
