the room.
Victor sat on the floor, thinking, his mind drifting between mystery and fear, while William, in his private place, opened a strange book. Its pages made a faint sound as he recalled how his father was brutally murdered... Tears flowed from his eyes, but he hardened his heart, determined to destroy the evil organization no matter the cost.
At the same time, Victor was thinking about how to solve the riddle, deeply lost in thought inside the Room of Awareness, which was meant for mental training.
William came in while Victor was still thinking and said to him, "Did you solve the riddle?"
Victor replied confidently, "Yes, I did. It's very easy."
William said, "Then tell me, what is the correct answer to the riddle?"
Victor replied, "The man stood before two paths: the City of Truth, where no one ever lies, and the City of Lies, where no one ever tells the truth. It seemed simple, but he realized the solution wasn't in either path—it was in the concept of time and truth itself."
William mocked Victor, but Victor said, "Think… if he chose the path of truth, everything would be correct, but he'd be bound by the truths of others, not his own choices.
And if he chose the path of lies, everything would be false, yet he could uncover the real truth behind the lies—if he understood their pattern."
Then Victor smiled and said, "Truth doesn't lie in any city—it lies in the ability to see reality as it truly is, and to understand its contradictions. So, choose the path that seems random, and with each step, he discovers that everything around him tests only his own mind and perception of truth, not the words of the truthful or the liar.
That's the brilliant answer: the man doesn't need to choose the path of truth or lies. He chooses to be the master of his own decisions, letting his mind be the truth itself—and lets the world test him, not any city."
William said, "Well done."
Victor replied, "Now tell me everything you know about the necklaces and my uncle."
William said, "Not yet. You still have much training to do. You must prepare both mentally and physically, because the power of the necklaces is strong and could harm you. In your current state, you cannot control it."
Victor said, "How? Let me try it. Just let me try, and you'll see with your own eyes what I can do."
William laughed and said, "You can't."
Victor insisted strongly, his eyes glowing with determination. Finally, William decided to give him a chance.
He handed Victor a necklace and said, "Take this necklace. It's called the Necklace of Marshid. It contains fifteen paths: the first is Wisdom, the second is the Emperor, the third is the Manipulator, and so on. You must use it wisely and control its power, or it will destroy you."
Victor was happy and said to William, "You can count on me."
William replied, "That's enough information for today."
But Victor said, "I still have some questions, and only you can answer them. Tell me now—don't leave today's work for tomorrow."
William answered, "I have a lot of work today. Stay in the castle and don't leave it under any circumstances. The organization is searching for you because they believe you know where your uncle's notes are."
Then he left, leaving Victor surrounded by mystery and riddles.
