Chapter 2 - FORGET DAY 1

Episode 1:

First Day, Empty Seat

The school gate was loud.

Laughter echoed across the campus, shoes scraped against concrete, and voices overlapped in excitement.

It was the first day of school.

Students rushed to find their classrooms.

Only one boy walked slowly.

His name was Forget Calimutan.

He stopped in front of a door with a paper posted on it:

Class 1-3

He stared at it for a moment, then quietly slid the door open.

Class 1-3

The room was already half full.

Groups of students chatted excitedly, talking about summer memories and new teachers. Desks scraped as seats were claimed.

Forget walked to the far corner by the window.

An empty desk.

As always.

He sat down, placed his bag carefully, and looked outside. The sky was clear—too bright for how he felt inside.

A boy almost sat beside him—

"Oops, someone's here."

The boy blinked.

"…Huh?"

The seat suddenly felt empty to him.

He walked away, confused.

Forget lowered his eyes.

"Good," he whispered. "It still works."

Roll Call

The teacher entered.

"Good morning, Class 1-3!"

"Good morning, Sir!"

Attendance began.

Names were called.

Hands were raised.

Then the teacher paused.

"…I feel like I'm missing someone."

Silence.

Students looked around.

"No?" the teacher shrugged. "Alright, let's continue."

Forget didn't raise his hand.

He never did.

Why Forget Chose to Be Alone

Forget didn't hate people.

He hated what happened after they got close.

Friends slowly stopped greeting him.

Teachers forgot assigning him work.

Faces that once smiled at him became blank.

It hurt less when he stayed alone.

So he made himself invisible.

The Unexpected

Just before lunch break, a chair scraped beside him.

Someone sat down.

"Hi."

Forget stiffened.

He turned slowly.

A girl with calm eyes and short dark hair looked at him like he actually existed.

"I'm Aira Velasquez," she said. "Transfer student."

Forget waited.

Three seconds.

Five.

She didn't forget.

"…You're Forget Calimutan," she added. "Right?"

His chest tightened.

No one in Class 1-3 had ever said his name out loud.

"You should move," Forget said quietly. "You won't remember me."

Aira smiled.

"Then why do I feel like I've known you for a long time?"

The bell rang.

But inside Forget's head—

Something cracked.

Ending Scene

As students rushed out, Aira stood up.

"See you tomorrow, Forget."

She walked away.

He stayed frozen in his seat.

For the first time…

Someone from Class 1-3 remembered him

on the first day of school.

And deep inside him, a forgotten past began to wake up.
