Two months later, the system had been suspiciously quiet for almost an entire week, which in our lives meant one thing. Something enormous was about to happen and it did. The morning sun spilled across the massive gardens of the Stoneheart estate, white flowers covering nearly every arch, table, and railing in sight. Ribbons fluttered gently in the warm breeze, musicians tuned instruments near the marble fountain, and guests filled the garden with excited murmurs. Because today was the day, the wedding. Or rather the double wedding.
Above the ceremony arch, a blue window flickered into existence.
"Narrative management system. FINAL EVENT INITIATED. CHAPTER 35: The Wedding."The system said.
"IT'S HAPPENING!"Ina immediately jumped in excitement near the aisle.
She clutched a clipboard that had somehow grown thicker than an encyclopedia during the last two months.
