For a few seconds after the system declared "CHAPTER 33 COMPLETE", the entire room stayed strangely quiet. Not calm quiet, more like the quiet of people whose brains were still trying to process the sentence 'I rewrote reality to marry you'. Bella was still standing in Xavier's arms, red from head to toe, her fingers clutching the front of his coat like she might pass out if she let go. Her parents looked stunned.
Rosalie Hearthstone blinked slowly, Charlie Hearthstone looked like a man who had just witnessed someone confess to hacking the universe. Wanessa leaned against the table with a grin, Aiden was drinking something purely because he clearly needed it and Zavier had both arms folded, watching Xavier with the expression of someone witnessing a rival declare war in the most dramatic way possible. Michael was absolutely delighted and Ina looked ready to explode with excitement.
