Before Bella could even finish screaming, Michael's grin widened, with a grin, the one that always meant he was about to do something delightfully chaotic.
"I think it's time we uh refined the situation." He said, voice full of mock solemnity, eyes glinting like he was about to conduct a highly classified operation.
"Refined? What are you talking about?!"Bella asked still half perched on Xavier's lap.
"Oh, you will see." Michael suddenly spun to the side.
A faint shimmer appeared beside him, and in an instant, his sister Ina materialized, a perfect echo of herself, ready to grab Bella like a whirlwind.
"HEY! Hands off-"Bella shrieked.
It was too late. Ina lunged and with surprising speed, Bella was swept out of Xavier's lap and into Ina's grip, spinning toward the cafe's small changing alcove.
