The projection flickered once more above the dining table. Not a courtyard, not students. The system corrected itself with a violent red glitch before stabilizing again, reshaping the scene into something far more familiar. The cafe, small tables, soft lighting. The counter where Michael usually worked. The scent of coffee and pastries almost felt real as the simulation rebuilt the environment perfectly. Michael leaned forward immediately.
"Ah." He whispered, visibly relieved. "Accurate location rendering."
"Good, because I was about to file a complaint with reality."Wanessa snorted.
Bella crossed her arms while staring up at the floating illusion.
"Great. Now I get to watch my alternate life get ruined in high definition."She said.
