Wanessa was the first to recover.
"No." she said slowly, staring at Terrence as if he had just rewritten physics. "No, that doesn't align."
"Which part?"Michael adjusted his glasses, intrigued.
"Chapter 14." Wanessa replied, eyes narrowing. "'Time for Recognition.' The mysterious man with the lunch box. He appeared before any system destabilization. Before the overflow. Before the route collapse." She turned sharply to Terrence. "You were there from the start."
"Wait, the guy who handed her that ridiculous homemade lunch and disappeared before Xavier arrived."Aiden blinked.
"I remember that day." Xavier's gaze darkened slightly.
"He altered the tone of the arc."Zavier tilted his head.
"If you were not supposed to exist in the final draft, and you appeared in Chapter 14, then you changed the plotline long before the glitch."Wanessa's voice dropped.
Silence pressed in. Terrence did not deny it.
