Bella's POV
The carriage took me straight to Caspian Estate.
Penny remained behind in the outer courtyard while I followed a servant into the inner residence.
Elias Foster, the butler, was already stationed at the entrance. The moment he spotted me approaching, he rushed forward frantically. "Miss Fairfax, thank goodness you're here!"
Worry carved deep lines across his features, and I understood exactly why Elias appeared so distressed.
"Did Prince Caspian suffer another episode?" I inquired.
Elias appeared completely overwhelmed, his hands trembling with anxiety.
"He seemed stable just days ago, but his condition returned with a fury today."
Since Caspian had begun my prescribed treatment, he'd shown marked improvement for some time. However, today brought a violent resurgence of his ailment, leaving Elias utterly helpless.
I kept my expression steady and offered Elias comfort. "Stay calm. Let me examine Prince Caspian immediately."
